[(Windows XP) looking for a cure to issue:]

["Add Remove Programs tool does not open, cannot access area Add Remove programs on the control panel."]
(After typing regsvr32 mshtml.dll then press Enter :)
met the following error message:
"mshtml.dll was loaded, but DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.
This file cannot be saved. »
How can I fix above error message?

·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

·         Are you referring to an article in Microsoft?

Follow these methods.

Method 1: Follow the following steps:

(a) click on Start, run, type cmd and press enter.

(b) in the command prompt, run these commands:

regsvr32 Jscript.dll

regsvr32 Msi.dll

regsvr32 Oledb32.dll.

regsvr32 Msado15.dll.

regsvr32 Mshtmled.dll

Method 2: Scan the file system (CFS) auditor to repair corrupted files.

    First, click on the link below and download the appwiz.cpl file, save it to your desktop. Right-click on the file and choose copy. Click on start > run > type x:\windows\system32 (x is the letter of your main generally c drive). In a free space in the system32 folder, right click and choose Paste. If you receive a prompt to replace the existing file, click Yes.  Restart your computer and try to access Add/Remove.

    Click HERE.

    This message can be considered "solved!" I was finally able to remove the program with the HP disk. I tried to reinstall (overwrite) the program, but I received a message that the installer has detected that the program is already installed. I wanted to try it manually, so I 'opened' the disc, you click on "setup" and received the same message. At this point, I was ready to try anything and noticed the "Launcher" icon and thought, what the heck, can't hurt to try at this stage, so I clicked it. I wasn't expecting the screen, I had, who said that it would be to uninstall the program. I thought it was too good to be true and easy way (after all), but after that it's over, I checked my Add/Remove programs and my 'problem' program was gone.

    Thought I would post this so anyone who might encounter the same problem can try this.

    Original title: MY system properties show that I have a 2002 XP pro with sp3.

    When I go to add & remove programs, it is empty in front of microsoft SP3 & a few other import programs. Does this mean they are missing or have been corrupted and that I have to re - install?  If so, should I install the previous programs I've read on the site of micrsoft?

    2 are you able to access the previous programs?

  • try to get "missing ___.msi" several times on different programs, when I browse to find and remove in Add/Remove Programs, it is not there.

    I have windows XP, .NET 4.0 (4.5)?, service packs1, 2, 3, 4.0 and 4.5. I have a HP Pavilion a620n. I do not know is that 4 or if I need and IE8. I tried to remove several programs in Add/Remove Programs, and it said an ending with .msi file that is "missing or moved" is necessary, even if it is for an Installer (?), no withdrawal. He arrived with more than one program as I said. When I search I can't find the requested file. If it is missing, how can I proceed?     .NET frameWork is an integral part of many windows-based applications and provides common functionality for these applications to run. I suggest you do not uninstall the .net FrameWork, it may cause some programs not do not work. For more information on the .net FrameWork, you can check the link.

    I am trying to upgrade my SVS131290X (which * is * listed in the expandable models)-However, when I go to run the tool to update/upgrade of VAIO indications, it just comes back and says the model is not supported.

    I'm trying to uninstall iTunes on my laptop and when I go into the control panel by clicking Add/Remove Programs, iTunes is not listed, but it's always in the start menu and on the desktop. How can I remove iTunes, in order to remove the other five components?
    It's the order of apple support told me to uninstall iTunes:
    1 remove iTunes
    2 remove QuickTime
    3. remove the Apple Software Update
    4. Remove Apple Mobile Device
    5. Remove Hello
    6. Remove Apple's Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
    I have things for steps 2 through 6 in Add/Remove programs in the control panel but not iTunes.
