  So I spent all day on this because Adobe did not anywhere that I could find it. But I'm hoping some of you to save a lot of time wasted... you can't upgrade to the latest version of the application if you have not all updates to Windows 7.

  
  

  If you're like me and do not want anything to do with the Windows updates... you may encounter the same problem. Summer/don't I am not at all interested in Windows 10 (who they are sneaking into regular updates) so I don't usually have enabled updates. If you don't... you cannot upgrade your program to the latest version. Creative cloud not even give the option.

  
  

  I think it's the Microsoft Visual C++ or something like that who needs update to run the latest version of the software... If you do not have it on your system, you do not install the new updates properly, but be careful not to download sneaky windows 10 "update." Know how it's called blindly here before update you.

  I hope that helps some of you save a whole day unnecessarily.

• Windows is not able to load the selected for the following reason of backup set

  I did run a daily backup to a computer in a network with windows backup and Restore Center. the hard drive crashed on this computer and we had to install another. When I try and use advanced restore / backup made on a different computer, I can navigate to the backup on the network computer folder but when I select the folder and click Next it gives me an error:
   
  I get: Windows is not able to load the backup game selected for the following reason:

  There is a problem with the backup catalog... 0x810000E5... restore from a different place...

  Just to add additional information; The computer with the replaced hard drive running Vista family premium, the path to the backup file is \\HPDESKTOP\Public\Backup\Bobruncer-pc\.

  There is another folder under Bobruncer-pc called Bobruncer-pc and all the backup files. I restore from the correct location? Also, the backup folder is 226 concerts but the backups were made from a hard drive of 80 GB... should I worry about this too?

  Just to clarify, perform you a complete PC Backup or backup and restore?

  When you do return, and restore, it can be saved as a .zip file in the backup folder. You can decompress the file and retrieve the required files.

  I had this same problem and it drove me crazy, but I solved it.

  I clicked on the link above that 'Shubham Chin"gave, and in this link all the topic, if you click on the topic" my PC is not responding all by searching for the or to install updates.

  below that it will then say "try to run windows update convenience store", click on that and it should get rid of this very annoying pop to the top and other problems with your laptop... hope I helped :)

  Could you try logout - and still the creative cloud app.

  Then relaunch Lr Desktop.

• Windows 8 does not recognize most of the new software CD how can I download new printer drivers?

  Once more, Microsoft has outdone himself. The previously blindingly simple and obvious has been complicated to make incredibly frustrating and painful for users of the new version of windows. Why in the world 1/2 old software CD automatically recognized by Windows 8 and the other 1/2 no? None of these programs and their CDs are particularly old or dated. Worse still, I have a Canon printer and rickety Windows 8 will not load automatically when I insert the installation CD. And windows does not show the CD when I do a search in D: drive. How and why are you people so incompetent?  I'm sorry to be rude and mean, but seriously. The whole bloody point of tech and people like you is to operate more easy is DO NOT IMPOSSIBLE, TIME CONSUMINGLY DOULOUREUX.

  Just kind of guessing here, but you could browse through your control panel... "AutoPlay" settings and see if it can just be a problem with setting...

  Another possibility is that one of your programs blocking access to some of the CD...

  Some programs have the option of 'Ownership' of your drive, for lack of a better description...

  iTunes can possibly do this and some CyberLink programs... There are other institutions...

  Another possibility is that some of them may be blocked by Windows because of compatibility issues...

  Some windows updates do precisely that for some programs.

• Why am I not able to share the new folio files?

  I was able to share files of folio fine. Then last week, the slips were download not to the people, I shared with. In addition, when you go into the app from producer of folio, the titles of the articles are there, but the content does not appear. However, I am able to download the folio on my ipad when I connect, although if I connect with the same credentials on a different ipad, nothing shows. I don't know what is happening here. I updated with all the latest tools of folio and downloaded the ipad rebooted more recent content viewer. I created the folio in cs5.5 6 and still nothing. The only unusual thing I'm done my files for the retina, but my full folio is only about 100 MB. This seems to have started just after the recent tools folio updated in June. any help would be greatly appreciated as I work for a very important client.

  Create a new folio with the same files but do it in 1024 x 768 and let us know if it works.

  BTW, are the 2048 x 1536 files? Who has not recommended... use 1024 x 768 and the value of the folio 2048 x 1536.

• Not able to install the HP software after a clean install of win7, hpbi and harddisk.dll error

  I bought a tm2 with win7 home x 64, my IT guy at the office have installed win7 ultimate x 64 and of course all the HP software was missing when I returned. Fortunately, they recorded the old files and I was able to locate the SwSetup folder and managed to install essential drivers.

  However, I miss all the HP software, which means that I can no longer find it not in the SwSetup folder or it will not be installed. I found the HP Touch Smart 'something' Center (folderHPTSLC) but I get the error "hp\bin\hpbi" and I found the Recovery Manager win7 HP homepage, but I get the error "hardDisk.dll.

  I am really a bit upset that I have to spend so much time to solve a simple problem, I have an intact recovery partition, a partition HP tools intact as well as all the files in the SwSetup folder, how can it be difficult?

  I want the software I paid and so far, I spent several hours looking for a solution to a seemingly simple problem (just provide the software on your hp, or at least one that reinstalls the Sw from the hard drive to the HP computer if you fear that your software may be used on other HP computers...).

  Can someone please provide me with is the solution to the problems mentioned above, a link to the HP Touch Center application work (although I have the files, he just moved there) or tell me how I can restart the installation of the HP software and driver that happens just after you have configured your win7?

  I agree, our IT screwed up guy, they didn't even know the upgrade thing... :-/

  In any case, I found a way to install the software I was looking for, just unzip to a folder and run the .msi file in the src folder.

  Even if not all the applications had such a record, most of 'em had.

  After playing with the sw a bit, I realized that I didn't like it anyway, boy I'm glad, I wasn't going to come home!

  and btw, we bought a HP Mini and it was a nice little software, called AppInstl in his swsetup, actually just the sw file I was looking for. Of course the same thing happened with the Mini ('clean' installation), but with this app, that I managed to re - install all the sw I wanted without any problem, except QuickWeb, of course, but that seems to be a general problem.

  Seems to me that HP has also seen the need for a "easy install your software after clean install" app.  :-)

• WPSM54G cannot find print server and not able to print the test page

  After several days of trial and error I am so far I'm willing to give up and put this peace of equipment for sale. It is my last attempt to find a solution.

  I have a Canon MP510 printer connected to the print server and I managed to configure the print server so that it establishes a wireless connection to the router. I can see the ip address assigned to my router print server and I can log on to the configuration of the print server page.

  When I want to set up your computer (software print copy of the Canon MP510 print server) I can not complete the wizard. Step 1 is successful. It shows the print server and the MP510 related to port 1, but in step 2, I get a message that the print server can not be found.

  I looked on the forums how to solve. I already tried a fixed ip address to configure the printer manually but not any which solution worked.

  Your print server must be set to a fixed IP address, try this IP address: 192.168.1.78... Disconnect ethernet cable between your router and the PS... Both devices power for one minute cycle... Follow the link here after changing the IP address on the PS...

• Because getting an email that recurs every 5 minutes, we were not able to get the new email, even from block the bad email.

  This seems to indicate that the charger has actually been detected as a device, but Windows can not work it out.

  Normally such a device should only connect to 5v and 0v pins and have no connection with the pins of data, in this way, that it will not be seen by Windows. I would be concerned by the quality of the device if it has some form of data connection. If you want to continue with this charger, that I would recommend to use a power supply of 5v USB instead of risking the USB port of the laptop, a lot less expensive if it does not. It has been reported several eCig Chargers catch fire. Something like this:

  Action must be a .atn file and not the PSD.

  Please check with the provider what exactly you bought, if it is an action, then then ask .atn file.
