She did this false positive Suspicious.Cloud with SeaMonkey for years every so often releases SM and Norton did not bother to fix it. Norton antivirus would claim a virus found in file freebl3.dll only there is not and never has been.

You have to be such a regular occurrence that they still singling out Norton in the known issues for SeaMonkey version notes for a few years as can be seen in http://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/seamonkey2.33/#issues and appears until Norton finally fix it.

  • Satellite A100 - no sound with Windows XP Pro SP3

    Hello

I'm the reconstruction of a laptop Toshiba A100-PSAA9A-10U038 with a new installation of Windows XP Pro SP3.

At this point, I have not all sounds (Yes, the volume is set to the top).

As this is my first post I covered I hope that most of the bases as with SP3 and I installed all the updates available from Toshiba and Microsoft - well at least, I guess I have. I downloaded the latest updates from Realtek who advised in a general forum but no luck.

Device Manager tells me that there are problems with a "PCI Device" and a "unknown device", and I assume that one of these two is the culprit.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Hi mate

I think that you have installed the driver of his evil.
    See this page:
    http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/support/notebooks/satellite/A100/psaa9a-10u038/download?OS=22

you will find all of the Win XP drivers for this model of laptop.
As you can see there are two different Realtek drivers:
    V Realtek Audio Driver 5.10.0.5253
    -Realtek ALC861 Audio Driver 5.10.0.5200

To my knowledge, you have the Realtek HD audio Manager.
But before install you the audio driver SP3 must be installed, it seems, that you did
However, the most recent audio Realtek driver can be downloaded from the Realtek page directly.
Select this check box, and then choose Manager Realtek HD audio for Win XP.

    Should work.

  • Satellite C660-1TN. Win XP Pro SP3. GF 315 M graphics driver

Laptop Satellite C660-1TN. In accordance with company standards, it is necessary to work in Windows XP Pro SP3. The NVIDIA® GeForce® 315M video card driver is not established. Thank you

Your business standards are quite old. It should be time for a corporate update to the new standards. ;)

Anyway, new models of laptops are not supported for older operating systems, and new models of laptops are designed for the new operating system. New laptop models have newer material designed also for newer operating system.

Problem is not Toshiba or support for Windows XP Home edition. As far as I know even Microsoft doesn't support WXP more.

Check if NVIDIA supports Windows XP Home for GeForce 315 M.

    Hello

I need help to find the disks required to run Windows XP Pro SP3 PT - PT on my Satellite A200 - 1 3.

Due to the extremely poor performance of Windows Vista, I did a downgrade of the operating system and I've managed to install the SP3 Windows XP Pro PT - PT, but some components does not (Ethernet, network, WiFi, Audio, Modem, video VG compatible) as they shoud due to the lack of correct readers for XP.

I tried to find the spec of my machine then trying to find the right drive in the components manufacturer sites in the Toshiba site, but it turns out be a mission impossible because it seams to have a detailed description on all machines A200 except A200 - 1 3.

If you can help me on this topic, I would be grateful. Thank you.

  • Pavilion #P7-1003W: replace # model HP Pavilion P7-1003W operating system XP Pro sp3?

Hello, I am a newbie who is eager to see if anyone knows if I can load XP pro sp3 on this machine? I understand that it is a 64-bit computer that initially had the windows7 home premium? I do not want to load windows 7 again, that I prefer using windows XP Pro, no one knows nothing of this OS change possible? Thanks in advance

PS I pray it's possible? / also, if this is possible? do I need a disc of different windows software for which is a 64-bit computer, or my trusty disk microsoft XP works on this device? «"" any advice, would be very good if welcomed»»»

I forgot to mention the most important part.  It takes a working for XP SP3 key to activate Windows, once it is installed.  It is not possible to buy a key of MS for XP, so you would need a key from a retail disc.  The key for the PC must be on the box, but since this is for Windows 7, as you mentioned, it will not work with XP...

  • After recommending the bios update, hp dv6131od running xp pro sp3 will not load windows - is there a wa

After installing an update of the bios recommended on the hp website my dv6131od running xp pro sp3 will not load windows

Update does not seem to have problems - failure, lack of time for flash, backup, etc.

boot sequence seems normal (finds it a bootable cd in the drive, etc.), but windows won't load in safe or other mode

next steps?  is there a way to access the BIOS?

    Thank you

There is a simple solution to this problem.  The HP Online Crash Analysis Team has finally responded to my email after 34 days.  I had given up hearing from them despite several requests to repeat.

I had completely disassembled the laptop trying to find the bios setting the jumpers on the motherboard in response to an idea contained in one of the PM, I sent... all to nothing does not...

OCAT told me to look in the BIOS under "system configuration" for the Native SATA support.  The last update of the BIOS resets this point 'activated', but that only works for Vista & Win 7.  This must be set to "disabled" for XP and previous operating system.

I hope that this post will save someone having to wait 5 weeks invest hours of work for a solution that took 3 minutes!

  • If the C:\winnt folder should be present on all computers that run the same WinXP Pro, SP3?

I tried to install a wireless adapter USB on my laptop, but I can't seem to get the driver from the installation CD files to load.  I have no problem loading and use of the adapter on my desktop. They are in C:\winnt\system32.  On my laptop (Dell Inspiron 700 m, running the same WinXP Pro, SP3), no there no. C:\winnt folder. This would explain why the CD with the driver files will not charge in the computer and so why the adapter won't work. Why would this file be C:\winnt... not being on my laptop using the same operating system? It would be possible that Dell to have intentionally omitted when they loaded 'their version' of XP?

Some XP system files in C:\WinNT store computers, and some store in C:\Windows .  I don't think that the difference due to the problem with your wireless network card.

The driver installation should ask Windows XP where to install the files, using the value of the environment variable SystemRoot .  Its value, click Start > all programs > Accessories > command prompt , type the following command and press enter :

    echo % SystemRoot %

That shows the Manager of devices for the network adapters?  The wireless card is installed, and it has a driver installed?  There are some unknown devices?

  • Windows xp pro sp3 can not get updates - don't stop to check updates and nothing happens.

For the past 2 weeks I can't get windows on windows xp pro sp3 updates. The green bar that runs while the verification of updates just keeps running and running and does'nt stop until I have stop. No error codes at all.
Run the fix it tool and indicates "registration for the service is missing or corrupted" and it offers a solution for the problem of the does'nt.
What is the reference for this?

I had the same problem and you will spend one day trying many suggestions, including various Microsoft Fix - its, which none worked, and which some worse messing with the BITs service (that I then had to restore, losing even more time).

In the end, I found that the problem was related to the update of Cumulative security for Internet Explorer 8. There is a kind of incompatibility with previous versions of this update that causes IE stuck when he tries to check the updates.

The solution for me was to download and install the * last * IE Cumulative Security Update * manually * before you try to run Windows Update to get the other patches. Here's how:

    (1) using the Internet Explorer, I visited the current MS security bulletin page

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/security/bulletin

    (2) from there, I went to the latest summary (November 2013) and found the update of IE at the top of the list: "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (2888505).

    (3) I couldn't see direct links for just this update, so I copied the number of the Knowledge Base - 2888505 - and google for "Download KB2888505" (Bing didn't work by the way). This gave me the direct download link:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=41074

    (4) I have downloaded and run the update installer and then restarted (as required by the software update).

Microsoft/Windows Update restart worked. I repeated the same process on a second computer with the same problem and it worked also.

  • Microsoft Update loops XP Pro SP3

I start Microsoft Update - "Checking to see if your computer has the latest version of Windows Update software" alternates with "looking for the latest versin of Windows Update software" that loops several times while the URL continues to grow, adding an extra & muopt = 1 to the end after each iteration to see what URL becomes after a few passes : http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us&muopt=1&muopt=1&muopt=1&muopt=1&muopt=1& - Windows XP pro SP3 - ran Fixit, no help

    I've experienced this as well.

Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and install the update mandatory. Once installed http://update.microsoft.com works again.
  • Missing windows components in the administrator group policy templates. XP Pro SP3

Miss me some of the windows components in the computer configuration > Group Policy administrative templates. How can I get back them? XP Pro SP3

If you click on administrative templates, add or remove templates do you have right to have these models:

    CONF
    Inetres
    System
    Wmplayer
    sooper

If this isn't the case, you must add them as described above.

For example, if inetres does not appear in the models (so, you must add), you won't see any substance IE under Windows Components.

Take a look at templates that are installed on the system that works and compare them to the distressed system.

  • Xp pro sp3 updated drivers

My OS is Windows XP Pro SP3 and when I bought my computer in 2004 he had these drivers for xp pro. I want to know if I can update the drivers to the latest versions for XP Pro SP3?

IMO updates driver update should not be attempted unless you have a specific problem that you know or suspect will be fixed by a driver update, i.e. follow the maxim "don't"fix"something that is not broken".

What makes you want to update the drivers?
