  I have a HP Pavilion Elite m9357c plus, 6 GB RAM, Windows 7 64-bit edition, with a replaced boot drive (Seagate 1 TB ~1.5 years) and replacemante (Gigabyte with radiator cooling) video card and 1 GB of RAM - also about 1.5 years.  System has a Hauppauge and Windows Media Center Edition video capture card.

  Starting after this last Patch Tuesday (Nov 2014), the system, which has been stable for years, has experienced several BSOD.  After the premiere, I started a full scan of the system with Norton 360, but it blue screened again before the end.

  I then ran an Avira rescue disk, boot from the DVD of Avira scan, scanned all drives and found no problem.  I removed a few old programs to reduce the overall number then ran a registry cleaning.

  Last night after 30 min of streaming video, the screen is dark and came back with another BSOD.  I turned off the system for the evening

  Today, after starting in safe mode with network, review logs for clues, the monitor went black and unresponsive.

  Currently, when you try to turn it on, the blue led lights, fans work, the drive blinks ~ 3times in less than 5 seconds (then no more), the blue network light is on, the DVD will blink and cycle maybe (a little more than normal).  The screen remains black and does not start the BIOS or anything else, nor the second monitor (VGA, another HDMI is).  The keyboard does not and caps lock/num lock light does not enter the LED in the mice came out.  The system has no "beep" as usual when starting

  I think I have two issues here: first is a problem with something Patch Tuesday and the second a hardware problem.

  Forums offer anything by a tired CMOS battery, to a failure of the CPU, low-power, the defective boot drive.

  In these circumstances, someone at - it suggestions?  I'm pretty technical but not a guru of any measure.

  I changed the CMOS battery and start the system.  Right now, in safe mode with network through newspapers and analyses.  My geek don't think that friends at work is a battery, since the system quit while on.  Apparently, this system can become inop when the battery is too low, even if it's on.

• How to roll back 12/05/10 patch Patch Tuesday?

  Installed a new Outlook Connector yesterday for my hotmail/outlook.

  material: P4 266, 2 meg of RAM PC2700, 60 GB 7200 RPM, 8 graphics shared meg

  Applications that do not work (so far) since the installation of fix for 05/12/10 (through the automatic update):

  The observer of events, msconfig, network and sharing Center, network on the taskbar has red x even if IE works. Outlook (safe mode works but normal mode does not work), starting on the Task bar will work if selected app works otherwise it crashes, stop on the start menu will only work if selected step app crashes, Windows Update app crashes, so I can't even look at the KB number for the patch. Webcam Live One Care does not start.

  It is an essential machine for me and I could barely use since the installation of the patch 12/05/10. I need push the patch 12/05/10 so I can use the machine. Please tell me how.

  As I thought, I went with UAC off safe mode and now Windows Easy Transfer will start and is more flat. It's the UAC dialog box and the fact that I couldn't see what is causing hang. For applications that were suspended were probably too display dialog boxes. I need to check.

  I do not know where to display the UAC dialog box displays I have only the laptop. (Maybe it's displaying somewhere upwards in Redmond?)

  It is a relief now I can at least get my business through the transfer and transfer it to another laptop which was not affected by the 11/05/10 Patch Tuesday.

  The only way to install an ipad app is through the app store.  PC or Mac software does not run on the ipad.  Search in the contacts link at the bottom right of this page.  Give apple a call.

  I guess is the icon for pages in icloud for storing documents pages.  At the same time, apple had a cloud based pages.  Not sure what happened to her.

  The installation seems to work, but the program may not be running.  Control Panel verifies that the software is installed (1.8 GB) while the installer has not created an S & T normal ICON and the software cannot be loaded even by clicking on the executable file in the program directory files.   Recently, I applied the latest patches that have been released for AE, organization and a few other applications in the master suite and after that the patches have been applied I lost the abilty to edit HDV in the body and EI.  In the body, it in fact grayed out option to turn off the product, which makes it appear like it has disabled somehow my product, but in AE the deactivate option is always there. I read to you run the trial HDV version is not supported, so I think it somehow disabled my products.  Anyone facing this problem?

  Your problem may be related to this issue, mentioned in the blog of Todd Kopriva, Region of interest.

  If you have downloaded the trial after effects 9.0, and then updated to After Effects 9.0.1 and then activated the application with a serial number after purchasing a license (all in exactly in that order), then the After Effects 9.0.2 update will fail to update your content to third parties, such as the Cycore (CC) effect plug-ins. It seems that uninstalling the third-party content and then restarting the application will cause third party content updated to install correctly.

  Please note that the support for HDV, AVCHD and other formarts based on MPEG relies on technology under licensed by third-party, and which are installed as part of the package of third-party content developers. So I would definitely start by trying this.

• emctl does not start after the latest patch

  After you apply the latest patch of the database, 9169460, on our 10.2.0.4.0 databases, the dbconsole does not start through Services or manally on the command line. Is the error when you try to emctl start dbconsole or emctl status dbconsole

  After the last update of the patch, the dbconsole have pulled up just fine. Nothing has changed in the emctl.pl file. I tried to bounce the database and nothing seems to work. Any thoughts?

  Copy the file Emctlcommon.pm to %ORACLE_HOME%\.patch_storage\\backup\bin\Emctlcommon.pm
  to %ORACLE_HOME%\bin\Emctlcommon.pm then the problem does not recur

• Cannot associate BR for planning after the Microsoft Patch

  Hi all
  
  After a security patch Microsoft Business Rules do not appear in planning more.
  The BR is still available in environmental assessments, but when I try to associate planning with the BR, the tree of planning cannot be opened.
  Any ideas why this happens? Port problem?
  
  In other posts, the newspaper HBR is mentioned. Where can I find this journal?

  HBRServer.properties has information that EAS uses to point to the repository
  There is also a copy of this file in the web application planning, planning using this for business rule information.

  If both copies of the file are directed to the correct repository you should not get the incorrect server names when you try and associate a business rule to a planning application.

  Sometimes, you get the existing business rules pointing to other servers if the buiness rule has been exported from one environment to another without updating the xml export file.
