Xp virtual drive through network access

I am running Windows 7 Professional and that you have installed a virtual Windows XP drive in order to run programs that are not able to run on Windows 7. When you open Windows Explorer, I see a list of my connections to the network. My virtual drive XP is in the list. However, when I try to access it via the browser, I get an error message that your computer has problems finding the connection. I am the administrator and the only user on the system. I'm the one who installed the virtual drive, and it has been used for more than 6 months. How can I access the virtual drive? I want to transfer files, and copy and paste them do not work. Please notify. Thank you.

  • I can't use windows Explorer or the network drive mapping to access my NAS drive more.

    original title: strange NAS problem

Hi everyone I can't seem to fix this strange problem.

I can't use windows Explorer or the network drive mapping to access my NAS drive more.
I am running windows 7 Professional 32-bit on my PC, and until about a week ago she accessed from my PC very well.

The location could not be reached and have not been able to run since said today that I went to update it and the drive mapped. I'm at my wits end.

    Here is some info.

I can access to other computers and devices on my network.

    I can access the internet.
I have a windows XP PC in the House who can always connect to my fine NAS drive (even if it's not mine).
    I PING the NAS drive.
The NAS drive will do the same if connected via cable or by wireless.

UPDATE: after the implementation of a shared folder on a Windows XP computer on the same network I am also unable to acsess the part of my PC. So I can assume that I can't browse all share folders or NAS drives on my local network.

    Help, please.

Thanks for the help, but I fixed my problem

Here's what I did in case anyone wants to know.

I went into Device Manager and went to network adapters.
I then expanded this section and under view changed to display hidden items.
Several hundred elements appears (for most 6to4 adapters) and I deleted all the.
Then click scan for new hardware.
    And... everything works again! YAY!

  • Deactivate the filter driver Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager

I hope that it is the community just to post this in.

I was wondering if it is possible to script disable the "Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager filter driver" for a LAN connection?

By comparison to the registry before and after it is manually turned off via Control Panel control-> network and Internet-> network-> connection to the Local network connections, I came with:

: remove the filter Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager driver
: the list of filters for the LAN adapter
    reg delete HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} \0007\Linkage /v FilterList/f

: import the Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager filter driver
: to the list of filters, excluding the LAN adapter
    Reg import linkage - no - lan.reg

: remove the filter Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager driver
: the network of the LAN adapter config
    reg delete HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network /v /f Config

: import the Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager filter driver
: to the network with the exception of the LAN adapter config
    Reg import network - no - lan.reg

: Remove the adapter LAN of the list of maps where the
: Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager filter driver is used
    reg delete HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\acnamfd\Parameters\Adapters\ {77197E43-5875-469F-A3A5-A97F63A32E0A} /f

This disables 'Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager filter driver' to connect to the local network, but it is not automatically to my wireless connection.  However, if I manually in a not checked the "Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager Filter Driver', the connection automatically changes my wireless.

The end result, I'm looking for must be able to use a wireless connection and at the same time be able to use the connection to the local network, when I connect directly to some work equipment to download the firmware files.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi Paul,.

Instead of hacking the registry, you can use nvspbind.exe for this task.  You can download the tool here.  It will be also NAM automatically mode interfaces.

    Disable: nvspbind.exe /d "Wireless network connection" csco_acnamfd

activate: nvspbind.exe/e 'Wireless network connection' csco_acnamfd

    Thank you.

  • How can I access the log files of the application of a ThinApp on the virtual drive?

I thinstalled an application using the v4.6 and I am able to launch and run the captured application.

But the application creates log files to:

    c:\Program files\ensembleProAgent\LOGS\

So I can access them on of ThinApp virtual drive?

If so, any help is appreciated, I don't know where is the virtual drive or how I can access / read it.

    Thank you

    Joel

    Hello

A virtual drive in the world of ThinApp means a disk that you have virtualized so he will be present for the virtualized application. If you mean by the word virtual drive where we keep the changes not applied to the physical environment are you talking about what we call the sandbox. Default location would be users with roaming profiles in a folder called Thinstall (ThinApp used to be called Thinstall until VMware has acquired the product)... Method of pomp for the sandbox would be to hit start - run on your client and enter %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto and click OK...

  • Satellite A200-1N2: I should udpate Intel Wlan driver through update of Vista?

    Hello

    I have two questions pls...

    1. I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A200-1N2 core 2 Duo

There is a * (optional) * updated by Windows Vista to...
    * Update driver Intel (R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network connection *.

I would like to know if it's a good idea to go for the update of this window gave or not?

    2. I've heard that it has deepened the Start button > all programs > Toshiba > a place where I can go and it could me check for all needed updates for the drivers of Toshiba and all necessary updates...

Pls any idea where to do it?

    Thank you

    Hello

This update seems to be linked to the Intel WLan driver.
I think it s not necessary to update the Intel WLan driver through update of Windows Vista.
If you want to update the WLan driver then visit the page of the Toshiba Wlan driver or the Intel page.

With regard to the second question.
You can visit the European driver Toshiba page and there you can check what newer drivers have been released.

There is also a tool called Toshiba [Tempro | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/generic/TEMPO_RELEASE/] that keep you abreast of software updates and the latest Toshiba driver as soon as they are released

  • No network access after reinstalling Windows, then the network drivers HP/ralink 'correct '.

    Hi all

I just reinstalled Win7 ultimate x 64 on my new HP Pavilion h8 - 1360t.  As not expected, no network.  So I ran the installer of ralink (sp57502) to get the driver of network adapter installed and rebooted and still no connection.  I tried the update ralink (sp58084) which is also on the page of the HP driver for this machine.  Still no luck.

I am connected to the ethernet port on my machine that I've always been - I don't like the wireless right now (but it is not available either).  This Setup has worked well on the new machine until I reinstalled Windows.

I knew that this was not apparent, but just in case, I tried to reset my modem and router, and it changed nothing.  Both work well for this older machine, I am on now.

As you can see below, it's a driver issue any.  Windows has automatically detected and installed the "802.11n Wireless LAN Card" you see there... but it doesn't really seem to be available.

I installed the ralink drivers and rebooted so many times that I'm sure I'm missing something else.  There is no other network driver for my machine on the HP site (other that a Broadcom who abandons install because it is not the material I have).

Any ideas on what I'm missing?  Thank you!!

    Hello:

What are the drivers for your wired network adapter.

Click on the link below and select AR813x_AR815x_v2.0.14.15_WHQL or AR816x_v2.0.14.15_WHQL under the headings AR813x_AR815x or AR816x.

They are in. RAR format, it must extract the driver using WinRAR or 7-Zip.

    http://www.QCA.Qualcomm.com/corporate/content.php?NAV1=146

Your screenshots did not come through the wireless card so I don't know what you've posted.

What I want for you is to copy and paste the material ID's for your network controller.

Click it and then click the Details tab.

Now, you see a drop-down list of properties. Drop down on it and select the second element (Hardware ID).

After the first string of characters you see in the window.

  • IPv6 connectivity shows no network access

When I want to access online through a WLAN, shows the status

    IPv4 connectivity: Internet

    IPv6 connectivity: no network access

so I think that my internet speed is going slower than before.

I also try on the properties of the network and their IPv4 IPv6 & all are in default.

now I want to know how, which can enable IPv6 connectivity?

    Hello

You don't need IPv6 to access the Internet.

If IPv6 is on or Off should not affect the speed of Internet connection (if at all in some older systems it slows down when it is turned on).

  • Tunnel traffic through the Access Point

    I "tunnelenabled" in the parameters of Access Points of JSON: true;

And on the Access Point associated connection servers config guide recommends not allowing the tunneling.

The end result is that the traffic is going through the Access Point and not crossing does not connect to the server. The client wants to keep the absolute minimum for the ports open between the objects, so I want to tunnel traffic from the Access Points through the connection to the server, and then click the virtual and physical machines internal who installed the agent to view. Even when I check the options of tunnel on the login server it always appears as if traffic is bypassing the broker for the connections and go straight to the agents.

What the configuration change that I do have all the traffic goes through the access points and associated connection servers?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion-

After a lot of trial and error reduced us to certificates that we created for Access Points. HTML5 Blast Bridge did not have other names of the object in the cert. Once we gave them a cert that had the URL and not the SAN (subject alternative names) with the real access Point server names that Blast started working again.

  • Virtual drive on a virtual host

I have a new client that is running VMWARE Esxi 4.0. One of the virtual servers had a virtual drive called S: provided by the host in some ways.  It showed as a drive in my computer, but did not show as a drive in disk management. He was not in the ISCSI drive. They were provided via VMWARE somehow.  But, tonight we went through a change of name server and rebooted, then the drive has disappeared.  Can someone guide me on this? I'm not familiar with this type of virtual storage.  I think I must add the VMDK file on the server.

    Any help please.

I'm really sorry about this.  This ended up being an encrypted drive mounted with what is called Truecrypt I forgot.

  • VMPlayer, how Boot on a virtual drive?

Hello, I created a virtual drive in my computer (Win7) host and I am able to see in my VM (win7) reviews.  I chose this as my main drive in the guest virtual computer.  I bascially wanted to boot from the virtual drive that I created to run installation.

I see not all boot settings so I guess that its in the BIOS as usual, accessing the BIOS appears not so easy, I found somethings that say I can add a delay so I am able to get to the easier to access the BIOS splash screen I placed this line, bios.bootdelay = "5000" in the file .vmxf (using Notepad).  Still can't do.  I have since deleted the line.

How can I start on this virtual disk that I created?

Change the boot sequence in the BIOS?  If so, what is best method to access BIOS in my VM guest operating system.

    Thank you!

ilcaa wrote: I placed this line, bios.bootdelay = "5000" in the file .vmxf (using Notepad).  Still can't do.  I have since deleted the line.

This setting must be placed in the (configuration of the VMware virtual machine) .vmx file is not the file .vmxf (VMware virtual machine VIX meta - data) .

Also adding the following parameter to the .vmx (configuration of the VMware virtual machine) file not the the .vmxf (VMware virtual machine VIX meta-data) file force boot in the BIOS once and then change the value of the parameter to "FALSE".

    bios.forceSetupOnce = "TRUE"
