  Hi people,

  I use an older Toshiba laptop, model indicated above with Win XP SP3 and 512 MB RAM. When I bought years ago (with Win 2 K installed), I could have sworn that he could make movies MP4.

  Today, even with all the updated drivers to the latest available (see below), MP4s and streaming video are very bad, because there's a hesitation every 2 to 4 seconds.

  Added by Edit - what about the drivers, I check those out after posting above. Tried updating the Trident Cyber ALADDin P4 v6.4616221CD_SE_NP (update: 20/05/03), and now windows update finds a new player presumed, downloaded and installed. Restarted, check again the driver, and he still has the date of 30/05/03. Then an updated driver looking in c: Windows\System32. Driver updated again. Yet, he always has a date 30/05/03. Am a little confused by the system would be updated to a driver and then date the old driver.

  Does anyone have clues what happens?

  In regards to the update of the driver card graphic;
  Maybe you tried to update a driver version, which was already preinstalled on your system.
  Please note that the Date updated on the Toshiba page show you when the pilot was transferred to the page and not the version of the driver.

  With regard to the question of the RAM;
  If the laptop runs max 512 MB of RAM and if 2 banks of ram are available, then you can use max 256 MB in a bank a 512MB might not be compatible and the laptop will not turn on properly.

  With regard to the issue of movie MP4;
  Maybe you should install some codec packs. I installed the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack. It contains all the necessary codecs in one package.

  Also try to play movies using different actors; for example the VLC Player.
  It is a small, free, player which is compatible with most files and standards!

  I have five movies HDV 60 min recording on a Canon HV40.

  Using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and made a capture in the usual way on these five films.

  After the capture, I began the usual changes but I found that 3 movie audio was seriously out of sync with the voice of the guest speaker.

  I took the movies on another computer (a HP z800 and HP z230) and all the films played perfect except Film 3.

  3 movie plays perfectly in WMP and Vimeo.

  I chose to make an another upload/capture - renamed Film 3 and here I still encountered the same problem.

  All movies in this series of conference were shot the same day, the same device. Film / film out film / film out - nothing unusual.

• Flash CS3: Help me make my movie play, please!

  It is an electronic company sign, so I will try to put a Flash animation of one of their signs on their pre-existing site. No sound, no skin, no control, whole movie, an endless loop.

  I imported a video .avi (from PC) of the client in Flash CS3 (on a Mac), and made sure my internship is the same size as file settings.

  Saved the file. Test the movie in Flash. * The movie plays just fine *. This is a picture of colourful balloons, growing on a black background.

  I publish the movie.

  I copy the .fla and .swf into folder flash at the root of the site on my local server.

  I go to Dreamweaver CS3 to insert the film using their integration > Flash in the div that I created for this on the index page (which uses only SSI for the nav and footer only - no PHP involved - so each page has an .shtml extension).

  I test the movie in DW by clicking on the green arrow in the toolbar properties. Nothing but white. Movie does not play, or if he plays, it's only white.

• DVD movie plays is not in standerd account administrator only.

  I created a standard account by microsoft suggestion.  I tried to play a rented movie and it played only in the admin. account.  What can I do so that it is possible to play standard account? I did something power turn, I thought that I had been using the Standard ACCT. Thank you.

  I see that you are not able to read a movie to a standard account. I'll help you with this problem.

  1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

  2. have you made changes on the computer recently?

  3. What is the error you get all trying to read the film to a standard account?

  4. what application you're using to play the movie to a standard account?

  5. what application did you use in the admin account to read the movie file?

• HD movies play perfectly, BUT the Extras repeatedly buffer

  As a general rule when I discover an HD movie on my MTB from the iTunes Store it plays almost perfectly.  No complaints.  But whenever I try to view all extras included, I constantly experience very slow downloads and content buffering.  It is so predictable that it's almost very bad.

  If I didn't know better I'd guess that Apple is in order of priority the Extras below original HD, resulting in slower outgoing movies band bandwidth every time the content is stored on their servers.  Otherwise that it's as if the Extras are much larger files or something.  But it's just the HD resolution as in the movies and just TV shows?

  Why all the video content Extras would play so much differently, buffering repeatedly and download much more slowly than the HD movie?

  I can even stop the extras to play the buffering and immediately play an HD movie that plays instantly without any hitch.  Then go back to the Extras and boom, slow, city of the buffer.

  FYI - my ATV is connected via an Ethernet connection to the modem it is clean and we have incredibly fast internet access.

  Very annoying and I have practically stopped watching the extras for this reason.

• Xperia Z3 Top speaker question

  Hi, I have a few problems with my high speaker on Xperia Z3. I bought the phone 6 months ago and I was very happy with it, but in the last two weeks the top speaker has stopped working properly. He is very weak, if I play the music (or any other sound on any application) and I cover the low speaker I barely hear anything, and if I cover the top of the speaker page there not at all a difference. It seems that the bottom speaker works as it should more. Today, I noticed that the top of the page started speaker one overheating, and is not the phone itself overheating, it is fair to the speaker, after 5-10 minutes of music playback. I know there are a few messages about problems with the high enclosure of the page, but I couldn't find a solution and no one had the same problem as me.
