  This past Christmas, I got a Dell Inspiron 15 3521 touchscreen. Recently, I took it to his laptop computer case to find that the screen was cracked. It was not a crack in the external display. If you run your fingers on the screen, it's smooth, but there are visible cracks and a section of the screen that the office does not appear, but only an odd mesh of white and black with some other colors included in the section. I looked up the screen replacements and I found a detailed description on YouTube showing how to replace the display in the Dell Inspiron 15 3521. He was a link in the description of spare parts. That would solve my problem, but I just have a question: my phone is a touch screen and I am not sure if the replacement screen is a touch screen. I want to be able to use my laptop up.   So in November I took a bad fall on a track and Dope the concrete sidewalk with my brand new 6. Remarkably, the screen is not broken out. My glass screen protector had cracks, but the lower left corner of the bent case metal on a little bit. It seems like a lot, but the phone still worked perfect afterwards so it was never a big deal. The metal itself is folded and the black plastic of the screen pops out about a millimeter. Although about 15 minutes ago, my phone is broken and fell off my bed. There screen still works perfectly well and my protective screen has not burst somehow then the cracked glass is contained. I do not think that the LCD needs to be replaced, just the glass (there are a few yellow spots on the screen).

  My question is whether or not the folded case will be the effect replacing the screen. From what I've seen Apple will be very probably deny it and get me to buy a new phone. You all guess how a third party would react?

  Nobody here can guess what Apple can do with your phone twisted, especially without inspection.  The only answer can come from Apple.

  I just replaced the display on my Qosmio F750 which unfortunately took out of warranty two weeks ago so I do not qualify for support.

  When I replaced the screen I followed all standard procedure to replace any screen,

  But for some reason, now, the screen didn't come on come (everything works when plugged into HDMI).

  There is no backlight or image on the screen, I tried mounting the old screen and that also does not work.

  Any help at all would be much appreciated.

  Are you sure that the new screen is OK and compatible?
  The screen is connected correctly?

  I guess there is nothing wrong with the motherboard or the graphics chip because the external monitor seems to be OK.
  That's why I think that it s to display either a connection problem, or maybe you used wrong or defective.

  Hello all, first post here but I have been a regular guest for a long time. This forum has been a great help! I searched through the forum for an answer, but the information was confusing and contradictory, so I thought I would ask here.

  The screen on my ASPIRE V5-571P-6604 is cracked. There is a right diagonal cut 3 inches on it as if someone he sliced with a knife. I am still able to see everything on the screen, but the touch function is lost, so I need to replace. I looked online but I don't know exactly what are the parts I need. There are ads for the screen and then the digitizer and then the bezel and then maybe other things. Is someone can you please tell me exactly what I need to buy to replace this screen so that the crack is a party and the touch function is restored?

  You will perhaps only to replace the digitizer touch if the screen is not damaged. There is glass in front of the screen.
