Xperia Z3 Compact dead after reboot (update of the marshmallow)

If after updating my Z3 Compact 6.0 android, I restarted my phone manually to try to refresh my data to media. However the phone just turned off and does not turn around. Attempts to try to restart the phone were unnecessary. I tried to connect to a PC, but my PC would be unrecognized device such that it could have been corrupted. Someone has encountered this problem after updating to the new software? Thank you!

I tried this but did not work. However surprisingly I fixed it by leaving just the battery take by itself (may take a day or two), then load through an ankle and everything was fine. No data is lost. I tested it on twice and it works for my phone. But of course if I restart my phone now it will always dead temporarily. Could be a software problem.

  • Satellite L630 dead after BIOS update

    Hello

I have a problem with a Toshiba Satellite L630 laptop model PSK00E-017019EN (British model).

An analysis of software Toshiba recommends an update of the BIOS and that I had a few problems with the laptop, I decided to let it run... big mistake!

The laptop will now not enter bios is effectively dead.

I downloaded different versions of the crisis Phoenix Recovery Disk (that will build a bootable USB key with MINIDOS. SYS, PHLASH16. EXE and a generic BIOS. WPH) and have also downloaded the latest version of the BIOS on the toshiba site.

The downloaded BIOS Toshiba is an exe SL630_L635_WIN_B140.exe file that will extract the following files using WINRAR (I tried also pick up the files in %Temp%, after you run the exe with the same result).

The files that I get are:

    BB10140. FD (4170kb)

    Ding.wav (104 KB)

    InsydeFlash.exe (764 KB)

    iscflash.dll (1760 KB)

    iscflash.sys (14 KB)

    iscflashx64.sys (23 KB)

    and platform.ini (9kb)

I expect to see the real bios in the form xxxx.rom or xxxx. WPH so that I could add this to the bootable flash drive to reflash the bios.

So my real question, can someone direct me to where I can download the correct BIOS. ROM file for this laptop and also where I can get the right version of the software Phoenix crisis Recovery Disk.

Also could you confirm the correct key sequence to start on crisis Recovery flash drive... I've seen talk of the F and B FN FN (both used without battery and plugging in the adapter, then power button / stop)... the FN routine F seems to start the Flash Player, but obviously without the right file WPH will not solve the problem.

    Thank you

    Phil

To be honest, I don t think that BIOS ROM module needs to be replaced.
In my opinion the ROM module must be flashed again using a special disc of crisis of the BIOS.
I recommend you contact Toshiba service and pay a small fee for the flash ROM module.
It is much better solution to handle the motherboard.

  • After 13 updated both the system rebooted and now as he begins to install XP it autorestarts. It will not recover to the last known good config and delivers a message of corrupted config file.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Frank

You will share exactly what the message of the corrupt config file says?  My crystal ball takes off the second Wednesday of each month.
If your system reboots continuously, the next time the system reboots, start tapping the F8 key until you see the menu Boot Options Advanced XP.  On the Advanced Boot Options menu, select:
Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure
This will display the error message that you don't see when the system restarts.  This is what Windows is supposed to do when there a failure - it is supposed to automatically restart.  The error you see on the screen has your clues...
If you do not see the menu Options start Advancded or you do not have to turn it off automatic restart on option system in the list of choices, you need to try again until you do.  Start typing the F8 key earlier and more frequently as your system begins to come alive.  If you miss the window of opportunity F8, you must try again.
Please provide additional information on your system:
What is your system brand and model?
What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..
The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)
The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?
You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)
    ?
Most of the time (in recent memory) when there is a problem after installing Microsoft updates, the problem is because the computer was somehow afflicted before/when updates have been installed and updates simply bring to the surface a problem that was not evident before.
If the last thing people remember is to install the updates from MS, it's am understandable reaction in some way involve updates for updating the post problems when things don't work properly afterwards and especially during the next reboot.
Another reaction is to try to remember all of the updates you have installed and somehow uninstall the updates one of the XP Recovery Console until you find one who is 'responsible '.  Unless you noted all issues of update, it would be more difficult, but not impossible.  It is unlikely that practical or useful advice in most situations, but you can of course try it.
Security updates sometimes holes patch XP and when security holes are patched (and XP is "tighter"), affliction can no longer do what is done, things to happen are no longer allowed to happen as a result of the strengthening of security, the system has now a new problem (especially when it initializes more) , and it seems that install updates broken system while in fact, it's just a coincidence.
Another thing that can happen is that the Microsoft updates will change or update certain critical files on the XP system.  Depending on what your software antivirus or antimalware software is, these programs can interpret the new or updated files to day as being a threat or somehow infected and quarantine (effectively delete) files it thinks are wary.
The next time you restart your system, you'll have some sort of a problem, or you do not start if the files are missing.  Once more, the problem is not with the updates, it's another condition on your system with your antivirus or antimalware programs you beautiful little (they could be aware of what like the new look of Microsoft files).
You may have seen some or heard talk about some of these kinds of people, but not too intellectually stimulating general or scenarios of error after update:
NTLDR is missing or corrupt, ntdetect.com is missing or damaged, ntoskrnl.exe is missing or damaged, hal.dll is missing or corrupt, etc.
These types of errors are usually very easy to fix, but if you don't know what's happening, the temptation is to do a repair installation, or if none of these kinds of things are really necessary, completely reinstall your XP.  I have never done a system restore, a repair install or reinstalled XP in my life to solve any problem (but I did the process for practice).  These things are simply not options with me.
Given that Microsoft sends many updates on the second Tuesday of each month (they call it "Patch Tuesday"), this means that the or to the second Wednesday of each month there is an increase of 'problems' in the field - in particular the types of problems "my computer does not start after you install the updates from Microsoft.  That day is also known as "exploit Wednesday".
You can read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patch_Tuesday
It is likely that if you have a problem like this or after the installation of MS updates, someone else has also had the same problem and understood what to do about it.  A problem here, is that no one knows what is your problem.

Do, or do not. There is no test.

  • Dead after attempt update blackBerry smartphones

    Hey everybody,

I am now completely depressed due to the fact that I tried to relive my BB dead these last hours.  It's current state, I can't get any response from him.  The power button does nothing, it lights up.  If it has a power source then orange top right flashes regularly, but that's all.  I can plug it into my computer and nothing does correctly recognize.  The BB Desktop Software answers as I have not plugged, but I tried to return to the update process in the hope that it will solve it.  The process takes a very long time, but it each time-error: "Unable to reconnect to the device during an operation of loading multi-etape." is the error message I receive after the process.

This all started when I opened my BB Desktop Manager hoping to synchronize my data.  I got a dialog box informing me of an update, I didn't know that it would do no harm.  After all, he told me to do the update.  The update failed with the error message mentioned above and I have a brick now.

Anyone has any ideas on how to get this thing going again?  I got it for about two weeks...

    Thank you

  • Firefox will not update on my Mac Pro. After reboot, I get the message to update available again. I need help?

After each attempt to update and restart, Firefox will never update to the new version. I'm still at version 34.0.5.

    Hello!

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from mozilla.org office (or choose the download for your operating system and language on this page) and save the file to install it on your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (or open the Firefox menu

      Click the close button

      ).

    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

More information on the resettlement of Firefox can be found here.

WARNING: Do not use an uninstaller to third parties as part of this process. This could permanently delete your Firefox profile data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and passwords saved. They can be retrieved easily unless they have been backed up on an external device! See back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox.

Please report to say if this helped you!

    Thank you.

  • T400 dead after BIOS update

System update to get the latest updates, including the BIOS.  After the update is complete, the machine has restarted but wouldn't start.  Now, when I turn it on, it shows just a blank screen, no hard disk activity.  I guess it's brick, and I'll have to go back to the Lenovo?  Someone has other ideas until I make?

    THX.

Final update!  Found a post of someone suggesting to disconnect the CMOS battery temporarily, and it worked!  Very relieved the laptop doesn't have a brick, but I just rather in a State where it should be + 10 minutes to access the normal start screen.  After that I disconnected the battery, things seem to be back to normal!

  • Satellite C660D-117 dead after Bios Update

Yesterday, I tried to run the bios upgrade, but it got stuck at step 3 (of 27 I think).
I left like this for more than an hour, nothing happened.

I also tried to cancel or press CTRL + ALT + DEL but the machine has been completely frozen.
He did not react when I pulled out the power cord.

Basically, the only thing I could do was to remove the battery I did. PROBLEM - now the laptop is completely dead. Is not like the others said that it starts. It does absolutely nothing - even there is no LED turns on when I plug in the power cord.

I tried to remove the battery and hold power for awhile to reset the CMOS, but not luck.
It does not react at all.

Do you think it's solvable by flashing the CMOS again (if it's even possible) or do I have to buy a new motherboard?

    Thank you

    > Think it's solvable by flashing the CMOS again (if it's even possible) or do I have to buy a new motherboard?

It of difficult to say in most cases it should be possible to bring back the laptop to life flashing the ROM module (where are stored the BIOS), once more using a disc of crisis.

  • iPhone & iPad with the same Apple ID, Wifi Dead after # 21 #, cannot call the specific number

Hi guys, I really hope someone can help out me with this one. Long story short:

After a week of vacation when we left our iPhone and iPad at home, my girlfriend's iPhone did get any cell phone signal when we came back, said network unavailable in the upper left corner, then we called Fido, the cell phone company, we use to try to resolve the problem. After trying to isolate the problem by changing my SIM card in the phone and SIM card in my phone, we saw that it was related to his SIM card.

The key to reset cell phone network, has changed twice between the SIM card and after a good 24 hours, his phone was on the right track with the exception that it was not able to call me and only me. We get an error call failed. But she was able to receive calls from me and everyone else. Also, we were unable to set up the voicemail.

As if the phone thought she was my line because of some flying over the passage of my SIM card in the phone...

This is the first problem... That we called Fido again. After the usual troubleshooting stuff (reset the network settings, restore the device in iTunes, force the restart, eject and put in the SIM card) the Lady on the line calling in the phone app, the number "# 21 #". Then BAM! no more WiFi on his phone AND his iPad connected to the same Apple ID (not a network problem as all the other device not associated with this specific apple id are ok with this network and wifi iPad literally fall from the moment I hit that famous number) when I press on my wifi network in the list It behaves as it accepts the password, but all is not connect with the wheel spinning without end.

Thus, employees of die cell phone are clueless and now she can't call me and she can't go on the internet with none of its aircraft. I tried a full restoration of his phone.

Tomorrow I will try the iPad on my place of work to see if it can connect to the anther wifi network, pending:

1-don't, anyone know what this # 21 # code is and how I can repair the damage he has done?

2-is my SIM card remains on his good theory and if so, what can we do about it, if not then what could cause his phone to have a call to a number failed error in particular?

    Thanks in advance!

Not sure about the theory of SIM card, but my guess is not... don't dwell settings. The SIM card must be "read" on every power up.

The code in what she you punch is a mobile PHONE for call forwarding. She must have felt you have enabled I guess. It shouldn't be anything else stop call forwarding for his phone, if it was enabled.

  • Can Toshiba inform us after each update of the BT stack?

When Toshiba publishes an update of the BT stack, it would be really good to know about this by e-mail instead of having to check the downloads page.

Does anyone know of an email list that I can subscribe to who distributes such information?

    Hello

I received a few emails on the new version of the driver for my laptop series, but not a particular notification of update of the BT stack.
I think that this notification of e-mail does not exist.

In any case, check the news from BT or BT downloads area from time to time.

Can I copy this file from another computer and paste it in system32 on this laptop? I have tried scannow and no error was reported.

If you have a Samsung (or Samsung-built Dell) printer, uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers.

  • What first or after effects updated and the other is not dynamic linking fails.

If I update one of the programs but not both, the instant update of the related files will not occur.  Does anyone else have this problem?

It happens sometimes... If you need to get the other program updated, which is often as simple as the signature of your CC desktop app & back in.
