XPS 15 9550 - BSOD freezes every day and randomly

Hello

Since I got my laptop I've been tormented by blue screen freezes often and seemingly randomly. It doesn't matter what I do. It happens several times a day. I used to get kernel inpage errors, and Ive tried to update all the drivers and some of the solutions I found online. Finally reduced that it freezes almost every day and especially the autocorrelation event is

CRITICS OF THE PROCESS IS DEAD

Event ID of the core-PnP 219
The driver failed to load the ACPI\INT3400\2 device \Driver\WUDFRd & daba3ff & 1. -> what is it exactly? and why?

So far, my research shows that the driver so that the error is a collaboration Performance Control driver of Intel processor. There is no driver for windows 10 9550 available for this purpose. Any suggestions?

Can someone please help? is this a hardware problem?

I've updated again BIOS 01.02, the latest Dell drivers for everything.

  • Satellite A500 - 17 X - BSOD appear every day

    Hello

Bought an A500 again a few months ago, printer software installed anything else and every day I get at least 1 blue screen, sometimes 2 back to back. Deleted printer software and performed system restore but still the same.

Contacted Toshiba tech but not a lot of help, said they could see the machine, but if it turns out to be a software problem, then I would be charged!

Don't know what information is required for Event Viewer to advise?

Any advice would be appreciated. See you soon

    Hello

It would be interesting to know what BSOD you get exactly. Maybe you can publish this information and search a little bit with Google you can do it yourself ;)

But of course, if it s a software problem, you have to pay for it. Only hardware issues are covered by the warranty.

If you use the Toshiba Recovery disk to restore to factory settings and the error still occurs, it seems to be a hardware problem.

My desktop pc is running the operating system Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit and most of the time ok, except, it freezes at least once a day when I access a Web site, or while I read the e-mail. Any ideas on what may cause this gel?

    Hello

It may be a combination of things causing the freezing.

    See if this helps you:

Search for malware, if necessary using the safe mode with networking.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-start-Windows-in-safe-mode/#Vista

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with the Boot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode with networking with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

Once in Safe Mode with network, download and run RKill.

RKill does NOT remove the malware; It stops the Malware process that gives you a chance to remove it with your security programs.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/

Then, download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware in Mode safe mode with networking:

It would be a good idea to run the System File Checker tool if you have corrupted files

"How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the files on system missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7"

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

If SFC detects serious flaws, you may need to perform a repair upgrade Installation or relocation complete if you don't have a Vista DVD from Microsoft.

If you can borrow a DVD of Vista from Microsoft you save doing a reinstall full:

    Hello

See the above troubleshooting tool and set the minidump so that we can analyze it.

The system has at least 3 GB of total RAM and maybe 4 GB is not just

Have you recently added any hardware? Have you updated any drivers just before this started?

  • El Capitan freezing at startup and randomly crashing

I have an early 2011 Macbook Pro with 16 GB of RAM with an EVO 840 Samsung SSD (8.2) and I'm running OS X 10.11.1. I've never had any problems with this machine before El Capitan. In short, I believe that others have a similar problem: El Capitan constantly hangs when starting with one of the following problems:

1 progress bar will get to halfway, and then the screen turns white and does not load.

2 gauge will get to halfway and then I get a garbled (graphical) bar across the screen and then it goes to a white and does not load.

3 gauge will get to halfway, then the screen turns blue and does not load (sometimes it will stop after about 30 seconds to a minute).

4 progress gets to half way and the screen freezes.

In addition, the machine will crash at random either stop, or go to a blue screen (after which I start the reboot process).

After several PRAM (Command-Option-P-R) resets the machine will finish start (sometimes 30 minutes or more), but it doesn't seem to be a reason why it starts later (I can't detect any type of model).

Initially, these problems started when I upgraded to El Capitan. Finally, I gave up and made a complete, clean, reinstall the operating system. After a few days, they began does not happen. The only 3rd party software, I installed is ClipWrap, Tor, office 2016, Trim Enabler (I disabled) and Quicken 2015. I looked for any offending kexts (as mentioned in the different for one), but do not seem to have any of them.

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it. When El Capitan works correctly, it's fantastic... but these accidents are driving me crazy.

According to the specificationsof Apple, this model can use a maximum of 8 GB of memory, but you have installed 16 GB. The results are unpredictable. I know that the seller of spare RAM parts indicates that the configuration will not work. If you accept this insurance, please ask the provider for help in case of problems you have. Otherwise, reinstall the original brief, or the new memory meets the official specs.
