  I saw your post on want to know if you should be powered down the printer or if it won't fall in the mode 'sleep'. My best advice would be to turn off the printer by the power button if it will not be used for a period of time, for example during the night. Regards the mode "standby", the printer goes into standby after 5, 10 or 15 minutes of inactivity.

  • To change the settings for sleep mode, go to the front screen of the printer and press settings (wrench)
  • Contact preferences
  • Press the arrow down and on Standby Mode when you see
  • You can now change the time of mode 5 to 10 to 15 minutes before

  I had the same problem.  I am using a phone cord 2-wire supplied with the printer and still get this error.  It turns out that it is bound to have a telephone connected to the printer.  If I unplug the telephone shape of the intake extension on the back of the printer, then the fax test passes.   I used even a cord 2-wire on the telephone, but it seems that the mere fact of having a phone plugged into the outlet of expansion will cause this error.

  Run the test without a phone plugged into the outlet of extension of the printer and you should be fine.

  Worked for me!

  I don't think that it helps extend the life of the battery if remove you it from the laptop. It will also pay power when you are not using it.  For more information on the functioning of the battery, I would say that you see the battery user guide provided by the manufacturer of your laptop.

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft Answers forum.  Well, since the problem started with the Norton update then you can check with the help of Norton to see if they have seen this problem before.  You can try to perform a System Restore.  If that is not correct the problem then it can come down to remove Norton and then put it back.

  I looked at your code and I tried to debug your problem.

  The problem is happenning as the boost serialization creates a static singleton instance. Static members are initialized to time the dll fix, so before calling any function of the plugin, boost attempts to allocate memory for the static instance.

  You have included the ASMemory.cpp that replaces the new operator, therefore this new operator is called at the time of construction of static member.

  However the new fails to allocate memory for spBlock suite is not yet acquired by the plugin!

  I hope it helped you understand the cause of the failure.

  That said, I'll propose try the following solutions:

  1. the easiest way is to remove the ASMemory.cpp of your project so that the CRT default new is called instead. But it was a risk. If you pass the pointer memory at some other API AI who tries to free her, you will get into trouble. For example, look at him!

  Updated to OS X 10.11.2 and now videos from YouTube DO NOT play in full screen. There is a problem with SAFARI and OS X. Works fine in other browsers, but I don't have to use 2 or more browsers to use my Macbook Pro.  I know put paused and resumed the game helps but is not a HOTFIX or Patch.
