Y at - it a up-to-date BIOS newer M3450 Aspire 2012?

I recently bought a GeForce GTX 750 Ti SC to upgrade my M3450 with. I have already updated the power supply to take account of the most powerful card. However, after the installation, I got a weird error that led to three very slow beeps at the start, followed by a black screen screen. After his return to the card and get a new one, I received the same error.

After considering the matter further, I determine whether a conflict not with all my gear, but with BIOS for the Aspire M3450, last updated 20/04/2012. See:

http://community.Acer.com/T5/desktops-all-in-ones/BIOS-update-on-Acer-Aspire-m3450/m-p/254120/highli...

http://community.Acer.com/T5/desktops-all-in-ones/aspire-M3450-at-BIOS-P01-A3-won-t-recognize-MSI-GE...

After having already updated my computer to run this GPU better, I really do not have to upgrade the mobo all in order to get. Is there a more recent update for BIOS of M3450, or maybe a solution any?

Our latest BIOS files are displayed to http://www.acer.com, click Help, and then drivers and downloads. Unfortunately, I don't see a BIOS version is newer than the one displayed in 2012.

I downloaded the file and the readme says: Windows flash: Please click on "SOBI0210.exe" for updating the bios.

    Hello

There is nothing special for the update of the BIOS.

Just download the BIOS, make sure that your laptop is plugged in (and also that he above 60% battery in any case), and run the file that you downloaded.

It is the date of the BIOS file download, simply put the date when the BIOS has been published on the page of the Toshiba UE driver

  • BIOS Update Fail - Aspire XC - 603G Win 8.1

    Hello

I have searched here for a few days and read a bunch of messages - which some I tried.

I don't mean to come down in Win 7 (even though I really like Win 7)

I'm trying to stick with Win 8.1.

I was running BIOS P11 - A1 and suddenly started having trouble with the USB 3.0 controller.

I read some posts here and on other forums that I should see if there is a BIOS update.

There are in fact four for this machine and so I started with the oldest a P11 - B0L

    T

To be honest, the instructions in the file Readme PDF weren't that useful

but I found some great data on the site of the FRIEND who helped me to put up-to-date to B0L - P11.

I ran the BIOS BACK. BAT file first, but got this error: "4 - error: file ROM ROMID is not compatible with existing BIOS ROMID.

So I advanced and run AFUDOS file without any parameters in the command and all set file to update correctly.

But I still have problems with the USB 3.0 controller and the process just seemed to be relatively complex.

As well my HP and three other Dell had programs BIOS Flash, or simple instructions which worked without any problems.

I was just lucky with them and there are some hidden secret ritual UEFI and/or MS-DOS that I'm missing here?

Am I possibly using the incorrect day BIOS file - and if yes which one should I use?

    Thank you

    -Bil

If your computer came pre-installed with windows 8.1, BIOS correct would be P11. B2 (to the best of my knowledge).

    'L' versions are for Linux.

  • PowerEdge 2950 new motherboard, BIOS new - uuid message

    Hi all

Impossible to find any info on the Forum, so here's my Q

We have a poweredge server 2950 our test running environment. Basically, it works fat ESX 4.1.0 260247 drive. All virtual machines are stored locally on disk running raid5, so No shared storage.

We had a problem with this box and dell came to replace the motherboard. We took the opportunity to upgrade the bios to 2.7.0

When turn the machines virtual, I get the message msg.uuid.altered. None of those VMS have a any application or anything which is glued MAC. I compared a file one of the VMS VMX and uuid.location, uuid.bios, ethernet0.generateAddress fields to change (I chose the option "I copied it")

Is it save to just select "I copied it" or is there anything else I should be worried.

    Comments are appreciated

Generally, an update of the BIOS does not change the UUID.

But, for example, I remember some cases with a PERC firmware update where to change the UUID and the entire data store must be re-imported.

  • Whenever I call a VI I get old data with new data in the table

I selected 'clear indicators when it is called' in my properties VI, execution. Yet, whenever I call the VI, the table of data is growing. My main VI implements my USE, and then call the sub - VI, which sets up an instrument measurements, then reads the results and transmits data. I then change the UUT to the next State and repeat the same task sub - VI to get again the same measures. The main VI changes the mode of WEAR it three times, so call the sub - VI three times. The last call of the Subvi back all three sets of data together, which is OK. My problem is, when the main VI ends and I run another USE, I get the new set of data as well as the complete list of data from the previous run. I found a similar problem answered here on the forum who suggested I should 'clear indicators when it is called', and so I did. It still has not fixed my problem. Any idea?

  • Updating BIOS for Acer Aspire 3000 / battery problems

So I had a couple of Acer Aspire 3000 who were not working and got one to work...

But it seems that I am having some problems when the battery is in it - and otherwise fine without him.
Excessively long Shut Downs that go to the continuous reboots / Touchpad problems, gel, etc.

Says the battery until it goes to @ 7-8%.  Then the battery does not charge.

When the power adapter is disconnected - the battery is charge?

Given that these laptops have been sitting around for a couple / few years... and have been given to me... I do not deny the possibility that the battery is not good. And there was only 1 battery using 2 laptops.

After that she has charged at 7-8% - I unplugged it the adapter - and it ran for @ 20 min.  and said: '1 HR 30 min remaining"until she was cut.

I also tried tried the - remove battery unplug adapter and hold the power button for 2 min method - then installed battery and adapter - but nothing helped...

(On a side - note, which is probably not related - my wifi doesn't seem to be working - even though it appears, it does nothing wrong in. Device Manager - and runs a diagnosis does not help...) I know there are wireless networks but none does not appear! Broadcom 802. 11 g)

In any case - I saw a post on a different site-say an UPDATE of the BIOS could possibly solve the problem of battery - (wifi may be too)...

Given that I've NEVER DONE an UPDATE to BIOS; I'll ask NICELY, please walk me but this... with as little as ACKRONYNS and GEEK TALK as Possible (respectfully).  I had heard of this sort of thing - to download the update of the Bios... and I think it can be put on a Falsh player - but is a ZIP and should she be EXTACTED - which I'm not too big? Then "Select (something)? and then maybe restart... So now, I'm willing to give it a try - with some help and input.  THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE!  a link for the download and the proper BIOS UPDATE would be a big departure... - I guesss that goes without saying.

So, here are some features of the information system: (I hope there enough, but please let me know if you need more)

3 to 32 of the latest BIOS availabel
