  By default, when you install Photoshop CC (2015) it allows to uninstall older versions of Photoshop CC you have installed.

  The problem is that once Adobe removes in a CS, but is no longer being updated for the future versions of OSX. This means that if something new in El Capitan causes CS5.5 does not operate normally, you are out of luck.

  10.9 is good that at least you can run Chrome or Acrobat DC where 10.9 is the minimum. It is always the test.

  Do not go to 10.11 if that's your only Mac and that you make your living with her.

  I agree with Adobe CC. Every time I turn on my MacBook Pro, Photoshop CC start. I want to stop. When I right click on the Photoshop application > Options > open when the connection is NOT checked. And in system preferences > users and groups > Login Items > Photoshop isn't there. What can I do? I'm sure it's a simple solution. Thank you!

  There is a checkbox when you turn off - Reopen windows during the connection. If this is checked, it will reopen its doors all that was open when you stop.

  El capitan sank my already very usable macbook pro 13 "! EACH application is slowed until almost uselessness, takes almost five minutes to wake up to the top/connect to wifi after sleep, a lot of problems with playback of streaming audio and audio itunes, making my virtually inaccessible whole itunes library. Stuck in the date and time, just a general nightmare.

  A took 15 minutes to open safari and two tabs, more than an hour to open chrome, imovie has spent more than 12 hours to load a video from my phone, and then frozen.

• Advice please: Photoshop (Camera Raw) run slow the new Macbook Pro

  Hi, last week my old Macbook 2012 Pro 13 "(8 GB of Ram, 2.9 GHz, 750 GB of storage) is dead so 2 days ago I replaced it with a new Macbook (2015) Pro 13" (8 GB of Ram, 128 GB of storage).

  I had heard that this computer would be the same if not faster to run Photoshop for me edit my photos (photography being my work part-time). The computer seems to work fine, until I opened about 100 photos Raw in Photoshop CS6 (Adobe Camera Raw), while when zooming with emphasis on my photos to check there was a significant (up to 4 seconds) lag between pressing the shortcut keys to perform a zoom and zoom that really happens. In addition, there was noticeable delay when changing the balance of whites by the sliders. I had none of these problems on my previous Macbook Pro, photoshop just seemed instantaneous. Then I was sure my CS6 has been fully updated, had the same problem, including the offsets when you use the sliders (white balance, exposure, etc.). Then I uninstalled and reinstalled my photoshop CS6, nothing has changed. I then downloaded a 7 day trial of CC in Photoshop to see if the last "photoshop" had the same problem, which was the case.  Finally, I took the computer to the store and they wiped and re installed my CS6 on it, nothing had changed.

  Sorry for the story back for a long time, but I was wondering if anyone else had similar problems, or if it seems you good? I'm just afraid that this new laptop should be the same, if not more quickly on photoshop, but he is underperforming compared to a Macbook which is 4 years older. I understand that it may not seem like a big deal, but when you work with as many photos as I do, such as small lag like this can add hours on my time of the edict.

  CS2 is not compatible with OS 10.7.5 (Lion) so it won't work. The latest version of Mac OS that works with CS2 is 10.6 (Snow Leopard).

  I developed an application in VB6 earlier that retrieves a page a series of pdf and add a single new PDF, save and print.  It took I have Acrobat on my computer to develop and that each user of the application had Acrobat installed as well.  It wasn't a problem in the office.

  However, now that I'm on my own, I have to rewrite it for my own use and the use of others and I'll use c#.  Now I have problems.  Because I do not have Acrobat, I can't even write the program since I did nothing other than Adobe Reader to reference.  Even if I had Acrobat, he wouldn't do me much good to write the application, because the customers could not use the application, unless they have Acrobat (and in my view, it must be the same version).  Seems ridiculous to ask your customers to buy another application in order to use your application.

  In other words, if I'm missing something.  Is there an api/dll Redistributable or something that the two would allow me to write this app and use it without having a copy of Acrobat?
