Y430 wireless network connection
Everyone has the same problem I am having with this model? Connect to a wireless router is such a problem, that is, it connect and disconnect as soon as I try to connect to the internet. I've already updated my firmware on the DLINK router at this point. Perhaps that solved this problem, please send a reply. Thank you
I scan too quickly on the list of programs on the control panel. I was looking for 'readycomm' but in fact he is listed as Lenovo ReadyComm. I uninstall the program and with my old DLINK DI - 64 router 802 - 11g it connected right to the top. I think it's the best simple solution, otherwise venture in the replacement of the router or more complicated fix 'SNAFUS' dispersed in this forum.
Our GURUS should make a sticky thread in the first page listing the patches.
Thank you

Equium A60 - no wireless network connection
Hello world
I have had a good look through the forums and can't find anything related to this but my apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere :-)
I set up a wireless home network with a Windows XP desktop computer with a router and a laptop old Win98, WinXP SP2, which I can't connect and an Equium A60. I installed two different network on the A60 USB adapters, seems to be okay with all of them except that there is no "wireless network connection" listed under network connections Control Panel. Both cards work fine on two other machines, so there must be a problem with the A60. I installed an adapter and then uninstalled before trying another.
Under control-> connections Panel Network, I can see an old broadband connection and the connection to the Local network (which is allowing me to connect to the router via Ethernet, so that the router will work), but the wireless network connection icon is not there. The driver for the USB adapter makes its appearance in Device Manager and is reported as working properly, but if it worked correctly then (I think) a wireless connection icon should appear - it happened with my other WinXP desktop.
Any ideas of what could be the cause?
Thanks in advance

Hello
I guess that the external WLan USB stick has been recognized one installed correctly. You said it appears in Device Manager. Are you sure that the WLAN USB key has been recognized to 101%? !!
If the WLAN USB key is recognized correctly, check the properties of this stick. (I think you should right click and then click on properties).
But if the stick was not recognized, you must verify the properties of the single USB ports and power safe mode.
Choose the USB single root hubs in device, right click, properties, tab power management Manager and disable the option called allow the computer to turn off the device to save energy. So maybe it helps

"Wireless network connection" is not a valid IP configuration. "
When I try to connect to the internet via a wireless connector I can but it takes anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes and many attempts that all generate the message title above. but then it finally works. It works great once its connected but the same connection problem happens the next time that I try to connect. I don't know much about the technical problems for all responses must be in pretty easy to understand the jargon and thanks :)

I am an employee of Life Insurance Corporation of India. When I turn on my PC in the office premises, a connection named "dlink" appears in my PC. After the connection (without using any modem or external device) I can browse the internet. How is that possible? The brief description of the connection is the following:
Wireless network connection
Connectivity: Internet IPv4
Name: dlink
Strength: good signal/fair/poor
Security type: unsecured
Radio type: 802.11n
SSID:Dlink
Should I access the internet by connecting through this link? Y at - it all threat to the security of my personal information or whether it's bad for me. Please notify. The link also shows a message that "the information transmitted by means of this link can be visible to others". Please specify.
Hi SANJIT_78,
· The computer is connected to a domain environment?
· Are you facing any performance issue with wireless network connection?
· What operating system is installed on the computer?
The computer you are using apparently have a wireless network interface installed in it and therefore can detect and connect to any available wireless network. The dlink network is the name of a wireless network available in your area and your computer to connect to this wireless network.
Wireless networks more private need a password to connect to them and therefore are protected. But the dlink network to which you are connecting is apparently a public wireless network, and it doesn't have a password to connect to it. So which allows any user to connect their devices to this network wireless. Due to this insecure wireless network mode, your computer displays you the message "the information transmitted through this link may be visible to others". If you want to connect to this wireless network, I suggest you first protect your computer with a good program antivirus and firewall.
To enable the Windows Firewall on your computer, you can check this link:
How can I turn on or turn off the firewall in Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later versions?

Hope this information helps.

I got a new laptop from work and have connected a couple of times on our network. Now, he does not connect through the wireless network connection. He said that the connections are available, but there is no connection available more in the list. If you have to manage wireless networks, it is in the list... but you can not log in via this page. Any help would be grateful.
Thank you!
Hello
1. what operating system you are using?
2. how many computers is connected to the network?
3 - is a domain network?
4. What is the exact error code or error message you received?
5 have have there been recent changes made on the computer before the show?
Follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.
Method 1: Troubleshooting run Network.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7
Method 2: Wi - Fi and in Windows network connection issues.
If you cannot connect to a network, it could be a problem with your network adapter. You can try to use the network adapter troubleshooting utility to automatically find and fix some common problems.
How can I troubleshoot network card?
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/how-do-I-fix-network-adapter-problems
Method 3: Disable the security software and check.
You can also temporarily disable the security software and check if the problem persists. Be sure to enable this security software on the computer after checking.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software
If disabling the security software solves the problem, then contact the manufacturer of the specific security software to fix the problem.
Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Wireless network connection does not
I can't access a wireless connection with my computer wireless network connection. The icon in the bottom right of the screen shows a red X and says 'not connected wireless network connection. The wireless on my keyboard button does not illuminate
I tried to change the channel on the new ADSL2 wireless router and refreshed looking for wireless connections, but still not found connections. I have not used a wireless router before and never used a wireless connection with this computer so I don't know if the wireless card works or not, if the properties of the wireless adapter indicate that it works. Is there a way to check if the computer's wireless card is running or connected and if not, how can it be connected? Thank you
I finally understood by trial and error, why I was unable to connect wireless to a modem, that you sent me. In my control panel, I found that the properties of HP Wireless Assistant had "Hide status icon" checked, so I checked it and the icon came in the bottom right of my screen. I left then clicked that icon and it showed the wireless and bluetooth was OFF so I went in and it now works.
Why HP support could not help me in what I don't know, I just got the race!
Hope this helps others with similar problems.

I use an Acer Asspire One with Windows XP. We have wireless through AT & T Uverse. The netbook has an Atheros AR5007EG Ethernet card.
A number of things have taken place lately: I had not used the Acer for some time and the battery was dead and would not recharge. I could book until when it was plugged, but could not get on the Internet. I found online that the solution to the battery problem was to download a new bios that worked wonderfully and it is now loaded. Recently, our AT & T router died and was replaced. I put the new WEP keys in two other computers, and they connect to the Internet. I can't connect to the Internet with the Acer. I tried ipconfig / renew and get the error message: "an error occurred during renewal of the wireless network connection interface: unable to contact your DHCP server.» Request a expires. No operation can be performed on Local area connection while it has its media disconnected. "On the tab"Choose a wireless network", it shows my network and said"absorbing the network address"but nothing happens. When I do ipconfig I see that there is no IP address.I took the computer to Starbucks this morning, ran ipconfig / renew and she acquired the IP address and I was able to connect to the Internet. I brought the computer home and tried and failed to connect. The IP address is back to 0.0.0.0 and the error message appears when I try to renew it.I hesitate to make a lot of changes since it was working with a different network.Original title: IP address is missingThese forums are wonderful. I tell myself that I've saved the cost of a new battery using the bios, I found on a forum!Hello

I still need help: 11-24-10' uncorrected problem after all
I have a laptop of refurbished HP older Pavilion ze5385US who has recently lost the wireless connection. Now, I have to leave it plugged in to use, not practical at all. I did the right click on the icon to open the network connections, left clicked wireless network connections and then clicked "repair this connection. The uninstaslled of the computer, and then was not able to reinstall. When I checked D, it was empty. I thought it was where restoration stuff should have been. So I downloaded and reinstalled much Express IEEE 802.11 PCI card Lan, until I found the one that the computer would be except. Now, it appears in device very good Manager, but has theyellow cone with! on the icon in the status bar at the bottom. When I raised it lights, it is said: 13 of (ANY) wireless network connection, speed: 11.0 Mbps, Signal strength: Excellent, status: limited or no connectivity. When I choose "View available wireless networks", I get "Windows cannot configure this wireless connection. Under network without wire/support/details of connections, Iget physical address: 00-02-8A-92-BE-0C, IP address: 169.254.196.112 subnet mask: 255.255.0.0, then the default gateway, DNS server, WINS server & have not enumerated values. I'm afraid to hit the repair again, it could wipe out the only map I've found so far that is accepted by my computer. When I try to enter the knowledge base for WinXP, I get an error for this page, as well as several other help pages I tried the site of microsoft.com for help. When I used configurationtool thewireless zero in respect of services & restart earlier, I had a red X on my icon, so I guess I've lost my card after all. Can I disable this? The map always shows as OK in Device Manager. Any ideas anyone? I need help here please.
Hello
I thank you and wish you the same.
I see that your problem has been solved using the HP driver that you mentioned on Thursday, November 18 in your message and the Express.sys is a problem with Windows install.
I suggest to install the version of Windows install 4.5 on the system from the link below and then update the driver from the link that was attached to your question before and check.
Step 1:
Install windows install 4.5
Windows install 4.5 Redistributable
Step 2:
Update the driver from the link you mentioned in your previous post.
I suggest you to check with TP-link if this model is compatible with Windows XP or not.

Thanks and regards.

Problems with wireless USB adapter. Icon missing "Wireless network connection".
I recently got a laptop HD malfunction cause me to start my PC from 2004. I bought a Belkin N150 Wireless USB adapter to connect to the internet connectivity. During the installation, I do not get a "Wireless network connection" icon I am running Windows XP SP3. I installed the same USB adapter on a computer running Windows XP SP2 and it works fine. I plugged it in my desktop PC and it just doesn't work! Even with my router disconnected I should still be able to see other networks WiFi available in the range (I live in a community of apartment) as he worked on the other computer it elsewhere too. I double checked the drivers, reboot the cable modem, so that appropriate services were activated and still no dice. I have read forums and I'm almost at the point of paying MS for technical support services, but it's really just my last step before I shell out money for professional help. Notice to lovers? =)
Hello
Well, at this point, you should make an executive decision.
If you think that someone will take just guilt because it's comfortable, it is not going to happen.
If a new card that is known to work does not work, then you can try to re - install Windows.
One of the differences between computer enthusiasts and regular users is the availability of the material. I have a set of wireless router, network cards, etc. that are known to be good.
The components are used for the sole purpose of trying them temporarily on the troubled computers to rule out hardware problems.
