Y510P Windows 8.1 Raster Image

I'm having this problem too, but Im having a more serious problem. Today, I installed the windows 8.1 (realease version, the windows store), and although my screen resolution is 1920 x 1080, the image sucks! It seens much pixilated and less sharpness...

For example, look at this screenshot of my taskbar. Look at the chrome icon.

Anyone with the same problem?

Did you change the DPI settings? I never used and do not know how it looks in Windows 8, but I do not know how to change DPI in Windows 7 could cause the same symptoms you have.

Try 100%:

    As for having multiple versions of the installed PS, you need not uninstall anything.

    Open the application Office CC and under applications > previous versions, you will find an option to install CS6.

    I have CS6, CC, CC 2014 and 2015 CC installed, and it has never created problems.

    Do not assign a drive letter to the partition recovery/player. Open "Disk Management" and decommissioning (without drive letter) and backup and restore performance.

  • Why raster images appear in the research of vector?

    Shouldn't the vector of filter, you know, images that are not vectors? Why the results of my research of vector are filled with about 50% raster images/photos? So frustrating!

  • How can I fill a template with a raster image?

    I want to do a pattern that has lines filled with a texture of gold foil, ultimately for use in InDesign.

    The current idea that I have of how to proceed is to (in illustator) expand the model,

    carefully remove all the clipping masks,

    Add paths to create a high road,

    then put this huge form in InDesign and drop the texture of the inside gold leaf.

    There MUST be an easier way, however.

    EDIT: I also tried to make a clipping with the model and the raster image mask, but I get an error when I try to record that said 'bosses cannot contain linked objects.

    gamma-radio,

    If I (put) understand it, an easy way perhaps, assuming a shade of reason:

    (1) create a path that covers the (desired amongst the) image of leaf of gold, on top of the image;

    (2) slide out model on the artboard and change the color to white parties to use, and then set it as a new shade of reason (Edit > pattern or something);

    ((3) apply the sample of 2) the path of 1);

    (4) to select the entire document and in the platte transparency dialog box click do with unchecked Clip opacity mask and invert the mask ticked.

    Or, if you can start with a regular path (set):

    (1) change the path (set) to white (fill or fill and stroke), then move the copies to form the pattern desired on top of the image of gold leaf, select all of them and Ctrl / Cmd + G to group them;

    (2) to select the entire document and in the platte transparency dialog box click do with unchecked Clip opacity mask and invert the mask ticked.

  • a set of scripts which selects raster images.

    I would like to automate a set of scripts that selects a raster image (linked file) which has been grouped with the vector art, and then converts them this selected in a vector (vectorization) raster image

    There is a plug-in which adds the choice to select > menu object (Raster Art is one of the choices), so you should be able to integrate that in action:

  • Get Acrobat to display raster images in "like what" pdf

    I hate the way acrobat resamples raster images on a monitor when it is not displayed it in its exact size. It looks like crap, isn't surprising, because there is no resampling using opengl as photoshop does.

    Say I have create an image for viewing only (I want just a client to open a pdf file and being able to see my work as it is), I save as a 900 x 700 pixels at 72 dpi image, but when I open the pdf file it will be always high-end it even when I change document properties and select 'real size' on the initial display. I don't want any resizing, because the only way to view the image in perfect state is if it is to show its native resolution (IE 700 x 900 pixels).

    Is it possible to control how a pdf will display an image on the client machine? Or should I rather build a webpage in offline mode and skip the pdf entirely?

    If this is so important, go the PDF file. PDF is designed to operate on a wide range of devices and 'real size' is not connected in any way to measure pixel. In theory, it is in inches, but since he does not know the size of a monitor, it follows that very well either.

  • Update of Photoshop 12.0.4 - many open windows see the false image

    I've recently updated all my CS5 applications to the latest version. Photoshop (12.0.4) is now showing a strange behavior with several windows open.

    If I select the view > reorganize > float all in Windows (or just drag a window with tabs in a separate floating window) the spectacle of images displayed the same image or that they reflect each other randomly. For example, if I have two images showing an Apple and an orange and they float in separate windows, two windows will sometimes show an orange. If I click on the image of the Apple, the two images become apples. Click again, and toggles the image clicked (so apple.jpg shows an orange and vica versa). This also affects new documents.

    I tried the things:

    1 remove the Photoshop settings file.

    2. performance of the permissions in disk utility and disk checks.

    3 dΘmarrer α leave a backup on an external hard drive Photoshop 12.0.2 clone - everything is fine.

    A possible cause of the problem is that I'm not under a system up to date. I'm still in 10.6.2 (for various reasons: I had read too many reports of problems with updates, so I decided to stay put; if it ain't broke don't fix it, but that could come back to bite me). Before you take the plunge and update 10.6.8 can someone suggest some basic troubleshooting or procedures that I could try to fix it.

    Thank you

    Powering the OpenGL in the Performance preference and restarting Photoshop have no bearing on the question?

    But you may want to consider to upgrade your operating system after all.

  • Make a new window to repeat the image?

    I have an image I want to tile seamlessly. So I do the shift-thing and clone. What I want to do now is to open a new window with the same image (window > reorganize > new window) filename.ext and tile then windows (Arrange > tile), but also make the new window to repeat the image so that I can see the changes I do reflect in repeated picture so I can get rid of unwanted habits. I hope I'm not too vague about my question! Thank you!

    Thank you very much for your answers! I don't quite have it works as I wanted it well.

    Can I sort my left of the window to display my image in a State not tiled so that I can change it while my right window shows the same image but tiled and zoom out and updates when I make changes in my left window? It's kind of a pain in the * to change my image, then copy and pasting in a table. Then go back and editing, table again. It is a problem even with an action. There may be other applications texturing for this type of workflow, but I thought that I was so close with the new feature of the window in PS

    For the update part, you can use dynamic objects. There is a setting of the clock which is more complicated, but then you can use as a template for future work.

    I just did that myself and describes the steps:

    Create a canvas with a size that will fit perfectly plenty for example 1000 x 1000 to fit 100 places with the size 100 x 100.

    On a new layer in the upper left corner, create a square of 100 x 100 with a color or an image.

    Right click on the layer with the square of the Layer palette and choose Convert to smart object.

    Hold the Alt key and drag the layer to the Summit 9 times the total of 10 copies of the layer.

    On the Web, make sure there is no selection and drag with the tool moving one of the squares overlapping snapping at the top right of the Web (it's easy to align with the limits of the Document is checked in the view > Snap to menu).

    In the palette layers shift, click on the first and the last layers to select all layers including the place.

    Make sure that the move tool is selected and in its options at the top of the screen click on the button "Distribute Horizontal Centers" (the third from the right side).

    While all segments are still selected in the layers palette, press Ctrl + G to group them.

    Reproduce and distribute the Group vertically you duplicated the squares in the same way but using the button "Distribute vertical centers" instead. However, Alt + click - move a group does not work on a document with nothing else that a single group, and I had to reproduce the first group by right click on it and choose duplicate. Then you can Alt + drag and drop between the groups.

    If you want, while all groups are selected, press Ctrl + Shift + group, ungroup and then Ctrl + group for organizing all the squares in a group and you're basically with the initial configuration.

    Now, edit a tile and update the image.

    In the Layer palette, double-click the icon of the any of the Smart layers with a square and this will open the place in its own window.

    Change, create, or paste the new image on the image of this window and when you save this will update all the tiles in the other window.

    Where not sure, when you change the place of the active layer, you can also use the Filters > other > horizontal shift and Vertical 50 pixels and for undefined areas, check Wrap Around. to help you to create a seamless tile. It creates seamless borders and all you have to do is to eliminate the seams in the middle with cloning or the paint tools.

  • How to return the raster image to 100%

    I have a bunch of pictures that are embedded in a document to HAVE him, and I want to cut and paste in photoshop. I want what they at their original resolution, but unfortunately they are all scaled down. For example, one of the images is reduced to 50%, and when I copy and paste into photoshop, it remains to the scale to 50% and resamples the image (by which I lose resolution.) I want to this effect resize all images to their 100% original scale) and THEN copy and paste into photoshop. I don't know how to do this. WHEN I click on the Info link for each image, tells me what percentage to scale each image, but I have no way to simply select all the images and saying scale = 100% (it would be easy in After effects). Someone one knows how? I just want what they all returned to their original size, so that when I paste it into Photoshop, there is no resampling or generational loss...

    Illustrator does not store the 'original size' of embedded raster images. When you embed it, it is what it is: a number of pixels is reduced to its current size. You can see this expressed in number of pixel and ppi in (of all places) the Document Info palette, if you select selection only and Images incorporated into the context menu.

    In the links Palette, you can select link information in the flyout and see the "scale" expressed as a percentage. It's always compared to 72 dpi, so laboriously, you must do the math and turn it accordingly to make what Illustrator sees as "100%" (72 dpi).

    (Isn't this practice? Is not that intuitive? Worst - of - Class of interface between the vector of all drawing programs).

    Workaround solution:

    Save the file TO PDF format (predefined default Illustrator will be good).

    Open in Acrobat.

    Advanced > DocumentProcessing > ExportAllImages.

  • How to know the resolution of embedded raster images?

    Is it possible to know the integrated resolution of raster images in illustrator cs3 file in a script? Please send me solutionand opportunities.

    Thanks for looking into this...

    You should be able to recover the PPI of an image embedded with something like this:

    var imgPixels = RasterItem.boundingBox [2];

    var imgWidth = RasterItem.width;

    imgRes var = imgPixels/actWidth * 72;

  • Import and pasting Raster images always results in 72 dpi... [Illustrator CC |] Windows [10]

    Hey all,.

    View this similar question asked about seemingly a million times, but have not found a solution that seems to work for me.  Long story short, I recently built a PC, but were mostly design with Illustrator CC on a Macbook Pro.  Well my Macbook Pro just died and I was to start using Illustrator on my 10 PC/Windows, and I'm having this problem where any raster file I paste or import, will not be entered or import apparently with she alleged at full resolution.  -J' have a 300 ppi image and I try either paste or import the file and illustrator makes 72. (Also, png, or sticking of the rasters with transparency all automatically become flattened?).

    I have try the GPU performance and off - still the same.  I also tried changing the rasterization of the Document settings (which are set at 300), but it is still important to 72.  Ditto for the problem of transparency above, as being transparent is checked in the settings of frame as well - always unsuccessfully.  All proposals/solutions are greatly appreciated and sorry apparently be yet another hat a hat for this problem.  As I said, most of the solutions I've seen have apparently not changed anything on my end.

    Thanks in advance.

    shonkie,

    I wonder if this is one for the list:

    If the things that must operate simply refuse of (exhaustion all the possibilities (and carefully making sure you (all) make the necessary things)), you can try the list below.

    Sometimes, (some) things may fail or stop working for no apparent reason. When (other) possible reasons/remedies do not work, it is perhaps a kind corruption (temporary or permanent), or even preference settings which disturbs, which can be cured with something on the following list put in place in order to provide a catch-all solution for otherwise intractable cases. It starts with a few easy suggestions and safe) 1 and 2) for cases less serious and goes two ways 3) and 4) to reset the default preferences (easily but irreversibly and more laboriously but more completely and also reversible), then follows a list 5) various other possibilities, and it ends with a complete reinstallation 6). If no other suggestion doesn't work, or if no other suggestion appears, you can start on the list and decide how to go or who can apply.

    The following is a general list of things, try when

    (A) the question is not in a specific file,

    (B) you have a printer installed, connected and turned on if it's a physical printer (you can use Adobe PDF/Acrobat Distiller as a printer by default without the need to have a printer on, of course you will need to specify when you really need print on paper), and

    (C) It is not caused by problems with opening a file from external media (see below).

    You tried/made some of them already; 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically may be corrupted/inconvenient preferences); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

    If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

    (1) close Illy and open again.

    (2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

    (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

    4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you can find the file here:

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Illustrator/KB/preference-file-location-Illustrator.html

    5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

    More serious still (it can be serious because you may need to restore the plugins and whatnot if you've customized things), you can:

    6 (A) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences, if any), B) run the cleanup tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC) and C) reinstall. You can try without step B), but sometimes it is necessary, because otherwise things can persist.
