Y570 heat

Whenever I have the game with the Y570, MY cpu and motherboard temp go to 75 to 77 degrees. He goes to 81-85 degrees when I play intensive games. Should I be worried? I tried the heat dissipation fan management, but I wouldn't change a thing. Please help, thanks.

plzdkm,

Its normal that the CPU and the GPU heat when there is a load both of the processors. Keep your parameter of high-performance and high-performance fan, it would be nice. Unless you see that there is a random stop due to heat then contact support to get the verified material.

Normally, I would put a thin hard cover behind the laptop each time that I play so that heat can be scattered much more quickly.

hope that helps.

Hey, if in the last two days I noticed that my Y570 is not charging properly.

There is no problem with normal use such as surfing the internet, facebook, email, etc. However, I often use my computer to play stuff like not to die of hunger, League, CSGO, etc.. So I think the problem is something due to heat.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Cheers, Johannes.

I ended up put the battery adapter in the freezer for 5 minutes and then let a brick cooling below for the following two days. After that, I did not have no problem, but it's also got a little cooler.

  • My Y570 is overheating!

Hey guys! So, my laptop is overheating a lot lately... I have 10 months and the computer restarts when start working on it... I do a lot of 3D, especially because it's my job, so I bought this laptop because it has components of Hi-top.

Anyway, when I start something in 3D modeling the laptop is just restarts... It comes as 30 to 60 minutes after I start working... Sometimes it works for a few hours without problem. The laptop was never opened because there is no store service in Bulgaria... Thanks for this Lenovo! So I can't really use my warranty and if I take it in a regular store with this warranty they charge me big time just to clean... So, any ideas? I have a buffer of cooliing don't help at all... I bought a fan which is attached to the side of the laptop, but it's not as well helping... So, can someone please give some info on how to dissansemble the laptop and clean it? Also a friend bought the same laptop, it pretty much has the same problems, while he understood, in a maintenance shop and they found out that there is no thermal paste on the CPU and the GPU... So, what are the chances of my laptop may not have the thermal paste?

TSvetkoKrastev, I can probly give you a rough overview of what has happened here, evey, well than the (most) some may disagree.

Thermal paste applied to the gtx 555 and i7-2670qm on those computers laptops lenovo has been atrocious. A kind of green fuzzy crap that doesn't dissipate little or no heat. I'm pretty sure that after 10 months of fairly constant use by the sounds of it, you basically cooked all their thermalpaste of crap. It's a risk to SEPARATE it yourself and put some money Arctic high grade on it, but the time fall downto 40sC low for the CPU and about 50 for the GPU. Their new bios 2.10 solve some of these issues, I think that to raise the cut-off level point to something crazy like 90 c or 95 c for the CPU, for us, the customers don't would not see the stutter effect claimed by many on these forums. Also using a program like ThermalStop can give u a good idea for how hot your laptop runs depending on what are the tasks that you complete. If you have a warranty, send to it by saying that it is overheating too bad and unusable. The bios initially made the accelerator of the cpu down when it hit 85? Correct me if im wrong guy, who was much too low, because every time you have used the laptop with these horrible heat, it would almost inevitably hit more than 85.

As an accompaniment, note after applying AS5 to my GPU, b4, the dough again the 555 gtx would hit more 85 without just to start the game. Now I can overclock of 752 / 912 mhz Core and 1570/1735 on the memory without so much as a hiccup. Thermals are really problems with these ideapads, and lenovo could have hit a home run with the y570. Also I would recommend updated BIOS 2.10, for who can address some of your questions. He fixed a strange typing too fast, and shit randomly would open in question lol. Or you can try a 2.06 unlocked bios and rectify some of the time when some stuff kicks on, but there are literally 100's of options to 2.06 unlocked, and it seems like you can do more harm than good... just my espoir.02 that helps

  • LENOVO Y570 game settings & cooling fan

Hey guys I just bought a new ideapad y570 i7, nvidia geforce gt555m and I try to play games in it.

I'm not just a familiar with the features that lenovo y570.

    so im asking

    1. what settings should I use for thermal management when the games?

    2. What is the diff between the standard heat dissipation and super silent and effective?

    3. Finally, I would like to know that means a key theater? Smart movie and thingy? What is that for? it increase the graph if I'm gaming?

    4. in what activities should I change the mode of theatre and how?

5 is it advisable to use the cooling fan?

Im sorry if im asking too, I am just get familiar with the new features of lenovo. This is my first lenovo btw.

Hello Alvians and welcome in the community.

    1. thermal management must be set to an effective Heat Dissipation

    2. the difference between the thermal modes is especially the level of noise-Supersilent(self explanatory), means standard of regular cooling with not too much noise, an effective heat dissipation means that the fan runs at higher speeds to allow better cooling, but it will be a little stronger than other modes.

3 OneKey theater is a function that changes the contrast of the image a bit and enhances the audio experience (I really like the cinema mode when I watch movies and series..). The intelligent mode is supposed to change depending on what you're do - listen to music, play games, watch movies, browse the internet... But from my experience I use than Normal or a film. And no, it will not stimulate the graphics in the games.

    4. I recommend that you use the "Movie" mode when you watch movies or something like that, or just run it in normal mode. Well that's my opinion, but you should feel free and try them all out to see what works best for your needs.

    5. cooling fan won't make a noticeable difference. If make sure that the back of the laptop is a bit lifted (put books under the screen of the laptop to raise it up a little to make room for better circulation of air).

And now, just a tip for the game-updated Nvidia drivers graphic 301,24 beta drivers.

To do this, download the driver here: download 301.24 beta driver

    -Then go to install/uninstall programs,

-Uninstall everything that you see who has Nvidia in its name (a computer restart will be necessary).

-check once again whether everything is uninstalled (if not, uninstall everything that is left by Nvidia).

-Run driver downloaded, the file of 301.24

    -choose "Custom Installation".

-Check the 'Clean Install' on the bottom of the installer

-Then just click Next and the driver will begin to settle.

It probably will be asked to reboot your pc once or twice. When he asks you to do, just click Restart now.

So now you have the latest drivers and games will run a little faster (most of the good games run faster).

Hope this has helped you in some way!

  • Y570 fan does not work best after 2 years

My Ideapad y570 is over 2 years old and large. The only problem that I've faced these last 6-8 months is when I start playing games and the laptop overheats and stops.

The fan speed is set for an effective Heat Dissipation and this mode is perfect for keeping the freshness of the laptop. Lately, the temperature rises to more than 90 + and therefore the laptop stops. Since last week also the fan started making a few strange mechanical noises a gear stuck.

I cleaned the fan to ensure that there is no dust in the Panel or the blades. Don't you think it's time for me to get a new fan?

    TIA!

Assuming that your laptop is out of warranty I would recommend repadting the CPU and the GPU. It will also give you a chance to clean the radiators. I found two videos that could help you. Links below. Watch them first and then decide if you feel enough confidence to do it yourself. It's not rocket science, but there is always a risk of breaking something. Just take your time.

  • My Ideapad Y570 staggers a reason any!

If I for example, utorrent in the background downloading things, and I watch videos to youtube at the same time the videos just to pause for a second every once in a while, while making weird noises. I tried to put the battery on high performance, but that did not help! even plug the charger does nothing. Help, please!

Mate, it's just a thing that every owner of y570 should put up with. There are hundreds of topics like these, you have just searched the forum a bit.
    Here's my topic I posted 5 months ago: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/IdeaPad-Y-U-V-and-Z-series/Y570-video-and-sound-randomly-freezes-for-a-s...

If you start the search for sttuter, stagging, freezing, you'll see how each problem is exactly the same thing. Video freezes, its sttuters for a fraction of a second.
Now obviuosly you want to know how to solve the problem. There are a lot of difficulties reported then you'll just have to find one that works for you. In my case, it was on the removal of these garbage McAfee (whenever he began to update this case my Intel i7 into overdrive, so the video/audio sttuttering). Others indicated that this problem was assimilated heat. I think it is the CPU itself, whenever it gets a big piece of info to process it starts to work on you. Don't know how or why McAfee trick worked on my lap top, but it did. I play League of Legends maxed out, youtube and dozen of other programs in the background execution flow, let and nothing happens.
If a part of this post does not have presence that it is because it is 06:41 here in Belgrade so if you have any questions, I'll be tomorrow back when I have a good eye closed.
All the best in fixing problems.
And don't forget, find, search and find anything that crosses your mind and try as many sollutions such as you can, chances are that one of them will work despite how dumb or they seem irrelevant.

    Hello

It may be normal for your iPhone to become warm when charging. Outside acts as a surface for cooling, heat transfer inside the camera of the iPhone to the cooler air outside.

Don't forget to follow all Apple security and handling guidelines, including:

If you fear that your iPhone gets hotter it should do, I suggest you contact Apple technical support or visit a Genius Bar or the service provider authorized Apple in order to have your iPhone and power accessories audited and, if recommended by Apple, served:

  • IPhone 6 s heating and drawing battery

bad yesterday update ios to ios 10 and now from 08: 56 100% battery 9.1 doing nothing just text SMS at 09:53 I have 80%... and the device of heating in the morning I don't feel never this heating device, even though I play games but to only send SMS and email anything download or something like this on bottom...

I don't know what happens if that is what material damage of upgrade or something software error

Unit has less than 6 months so it's not old device

    Thanks for the replies

The heating after an upgrade is usually for two reasons:

    (1) an application that is not compatible in loop

    (2) the phone is busy reindexing content

The second will resolve itself after a while; the first will be asked to determine what app is responsible, perhaps by checking the battery usage statistics.

  • phone heats up a lot

After the update to ios 10 on my 6s became heated a lot during loading, or when it is connected to itunes.

It's only a theory, but I know that iOS 10 has a new face recognition feature which will look at the pictures while he is in charge, perhaps this may mean that your phone is warming the first charge as a result of this new feature time using processing power.

  • MacBook Pro retina 15 inch heats up when it is connected to the external monitor

    Hello

My problem: When I connect my monitor (LG IPS277L) temperature of my Macbook Pro starts to heat upward. This problem often occurs when I use Facetime.

I found it really strange because I should have a pretty good Macbook Pro for this.

MacBook Pro (15 inch, retina, medio 2015)

Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7

    Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics card: Iris Pro 1536 MB Intel / AMD Radeon R9 M370X

    El Captain 10.11.6 OSX

I hope that someone recognizes this problem and wants to share their solution.

When you connect to an external monitor, you use the AMD Chip for graphics (without the external screen, most of the software needs only the graphics engine Intel).  It attracts more power and therefore heats up.  All MacBook Pro for this to some extent.  This should be considered normal.  If the computer is actually overheating, it will stop.

  • MacBook Pro heats up during charging

    Hi guys,.

So I'm planning to buy a Macbook Pro 15 mid-2012 ", but when I went to see the macbook, I noticed the connector magsafe and the upper left part of the macbook gets pretty heated during loading (even with the computer at idle, but on screen)." Is this normal for MacBook?

Also I noticed that the number of battery cycle was 24, which I thought was surprisingly low for a macbook from 2012. But when I asked the seller on the subject, he said that the macbook was made in 2014, even though the model is mid-2012. Is this true, Apple makes the mid-2012 version of MBP 15 "in 2014? or do you think that the battery may have been replaced?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated since I don't have much experience with the Mac. Thanks in advance.

No 2012-retina MBP 15 "has been abandoned by Apple in October 2013.

24 cycles for any MBP plus 1 year would be extraordinary in my view (unless the battery has been replaced).

The connection of the charger to the MBP shouldn't receive warm while in use.

    Looking for an another MBP.

    Ciao.

  • MacBook pro 2015 Diode, heating problems

    Hello

I just bought a MacBook pro 2015, one with 2.8 GHZ, 16 GB RAM and ITB Flash. [old just four days]

The question being, the first day of the machine as well as the charger were burning Red hot when I loaded for the first time, in subsequent attempts, heating got sorted out by itself.

Nevertheless, I had installed the temperature gauge in the machine, I look one only a few videos YouTube youtube and navigation.

Once in every two hours a message like

The led O GPU temperature is 106 degrees, closing applications.

Once I click on the tool, the temperature is now reset to 30 ° C. It seems that the temperature of the Diode is to reach 106 degrees, some app is closed (no one knows the tabs I have open in Safari are works well) and then it resets.

Is it really a problem with the thermal conductive paste or a faulty diode.

I go to the Apple store this Saturday? Can I return the laptop and request a new or a full refund.

    Can someone please advice?

If you bought Apple with the last 14 days, you can return it for a full refund.

    http://store.Apple.com/us/help/returns_refund
Then you can buy a new one.

What about Apple and they can exchange it without having to go the way of reimbursement.

  • My MacMini3, 1 is over heating

OK my mac Mini started yesterday more than heating. I noticed a few weird black it flashes on the screen when it froze. then he did say to reboot the entire screen. I left it a trendy but from what I've read until its over heating so that I opened it upward and have tried to do jump out which way. (Out more dust) is there a better way to stop heating. I raised him like 6 inches to help get more air. Should I put a small fan to him from downstairs?

End of 2009 Mac Mini. I'm on it now other then that its been a wonderful mac

Install a speed temp app and the fans to see what happens. Maybe a fan problem. I use
