  If you have no problem with the current drivers, I don't tell you to install the beta drivers. You can still install / they can work properly. If you install and you have a problem, you can also uninstall the current install and. It is up to you.

  Ive had some issues with the 555 timer. I'm trying to get a signal of pulswidth set to a current signal.

  My problem is that the circuit should work with 0.25 to 1 Hz on the current signal.  I clocked it at 1 Hz, but if I try to go further down the timer begins to go crazy.

• My Y570 is overheating!

  Hey guys! So, my laptop is overheating a lot lately... I have 10 months and the computer restarts when start working on it... I do a lot of 3D, especially because it's my job, so I bought this laptop because it has components of Hi-top.

  Anyway, when I start something in 3D modeling the laptop is just restarts... It comes as 30 to 60 minutes after I start working... Sometimes it works for a few hours without problem. The laptop was never opened because there is no store service in Bulgaria... Thanks for this Lenovo! So I can't really use my warranty and if I take it in a regular store with this warranty they charge me big time just to clean... So, any ideas? I have a buffer of cooliing don't help at all... I bought a fan which is attached to the side of the laptop, but it's not as well helping... So, can someone please give some info on how to dissansemble the laptop and clean it? Also a friend bought the same laptop, it pretty much has the same problems, while he understood, in a maintenance shop and they found out that there is no thermal paste on the CPU and the GPU... So, what are the chances of my laptop may not have the thermal paste?

  TSvetkoKrastev, I can probly give you a rough overview of what has happened here, evey, well than the (most) some may disagree.

  Thermal paste applied to the gtx 555 and i7-2670qm on those computers laptops lenovo has been atrocious. A kind of green fuzzy crap that doesn't dissipate little or no heat. I'm pretty sure that after 10 months of fairly constant use by the sounds of it, you basically cooked all their thermalpaste of crap. It's a risk to SEPARATE it yourself and put some money Arctic high grade on it, but the time fall downto 40sC low for the CPU and about 50 for the GPU. Their new bios 2.10 solve some of these issues, I think that to raise the cut-off level point to something crazy like 90 c or 95 c for the CPU, for us, the customers don't would not see the stutter effect claimed by many on these forums. Also using a program like ThermalStop can give u a good idea for how hot your laptop runs depending on what are the tasks that you complete. If you have a warranty, send to it by saying that it is overheating too bad and unusable. The bios initially made the accelerator of the cpu down when it hit 85? Correct me if im wrong guy, who was much too low, because every time you have used the laptop with these horrible heat, it would almost inevitably hit more than 85.

  As an accompaniment, note after applying AS5 to my GPU, b4, the dough again the 555 gtx would hit more 85 without just to start the game. Now I can overclock of 752 / 912 mhz Core and 1570/1735 on the memory without so much as a hiccup. Thermals are really problems with these ideapads, and lenovo could have hit a home run with the y570. Also I would recommend updated BIOS 2.10, for who can address some of your questions. He fixed a strange typing too fast, and shit randomly would open in question lol. Or you can try a 2.06 unlocked bios and rectify some of the time when some stuff kicks on, but there are literally 100's of options to 2.06 unlocked, and it seems like you can do more harm than good... just my espoir.02 that helps

  I'm a student using MultiSim 12.  I have a need to generate 1 and 2 Hz clock timer circuits using the MultiSim student edition.

  I am not having success finding designs that can use pre-existing components of MultSim.

  Can anyone offer/provide information about how to generate 1 Hz timer circuits / 2 Hz using MultiSim Student Edition?

• FIXED: Y570 Nvidia Optimus does not

  Here's the issue I'm having with the Y570. I have the Intel HD driver and the driver Lenovo Nvidia's installed.

  When I open the Nvidia Control Panel, the drop-down list box for "favorite graphic processor:" is grayed out and I can't change it. The specified selection is "integrated graphics".

  I can't make this change when I choose the "Program settings" tab

  When I click on "System information" in the lower left corner it pulls up a window that shows the Nvidia 555 m and it's properties.

  Also, when I right click on an option of the program context menu «Run with GPU...» "is visible but greyed out.

  CORRECTION: I didn't have to search carefully the internets that the Y570 has a manual switch to turn on the nvidia gpu. It is in the lower right corner and dragging on and hold down until the light comes on... I am very relieved to see.

• Waveshaping circuit using a 555 timer

  I tried to reproduce this circuit much longer. I am trying to use a timer 555 as an Astable multivibrator with a suddenly IC monostable circuit.  However, when I create the circuit and use different combinations of RC I actually get a correct output of the timer, but it does not cause the one-shot get active then and I can immediately connect a clock of multisim that turned the circuit works very well.  Can someone please take a look on the circuit, I have designed and see where I was wrong? Refer to the multisim file attached.

  Sorry for the delay on this point - we have been busy in the ISF group.

  Your tour was very close!   I think that by not only not the CLR and a cable entries, your circuit had problems.   Probably the pins of the CLR was defaulting to a low logic (requiring so low Q and Q ~ high) as indicated in the data sheet.

  Here is the circuit has been corrected (note I increased the capacitor to give lasting impulse on Q / Q ~ because the pulse of the 555 timer period was approximately 250 ms).

  In dealing with digital circuits, it is often convenient connect digital inputs to an interactive SPDT switch and VCC (or any level of CMOS circuit is in) and ground as I did here.   This gives you the ability to interactively control parts of the interactive test circuit...

• format of the clock after upgrading to IOS 10

  After the upgrade to IOS 10.0.2on my iphone 6 s the clock passed using two points using a format point.

  Language and region are still like before upgrade: Norway.

  I tried to change in various other regions which, to my knowledge, uses the same format of the clock, but there is still a point. Is there another way to change this?

  Thank you for reaching out by Apple Support communities. From your post, I understand that your clock is not displayed as expected in the iOS 10. Rather than see a colon, showing time as 07:32, you see just one point, displaying the time as 7.32. I would be happy to offer help!

  There could be a few different things going on to cause this, and change your region has been a great first step to understand that and fixing it. Given that this did not help, try the following steps. Before you start, use this article to create a backup of your iPhone: How to back up your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch
  

  1. Replace it with another under settings > general > language and region. See if that allows you to adjust the way in which the clock is displayed. If so, revert to the language of your choice and see if she spends exactly the point again.
  2. Make sure that the value is automatically enabled under settings > general Date & time
  3. Restart your iPhone by following the steps here: restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch
  4. Reset your iPhone settings in settings > general > reset > reset all settings. • The menu bar clock freezes after recovery from sleep mode

  After the upgrade to Sierra, I noticed that the clock in the menu bar (top right) show wrong time.  This occurs when the iMac comes out of his SLEEP.  When I hoover the pointer of the mouse on the clock, it would turn into a spinning ball (i.e. no response).  I have to disconnect and reconnect so that the clock in the menu bar to indicate the correct time.  She would continue to work until the next time that the iMac comes out of SLEEP.

  I used to use the clock application in my iPad while you sleep as a kind of a large wall clock.
