  • How to play videos flash for 40 seconds and then display the Web page automatically?

    That was my question:

    I made a Web page, I want to show a video flash for 40 seconds when the page is opened. Then the Flash video should disappear and opens the web page. How should I do this?

    This was the response:

    Hello

    This would require the use of actionscript inside flash video, which would then redirect to the main website after the deadline runs out.

    (for how to do this you would be better advised in the flash forum -http://forums.adobe.com/community/flash/flash_general).

    Please help me on how to add actionscript code

    If you the only goal is to pass on this page to the index page after 40 seconds, then you can do it in the code of a web page, rather than edit the Flash file.  Just add the following code in the head section of the web page of the video...

    If the problem is related to a corrupted catalog, try to open the organizer with a new empty catalog.

    Hold down the SHIFT key at the launch of the Organizer. You get a dialog box with the choice to start with a new catalog, or start with a different catalog and even to 'fix' the current catalog. If your organizer starts with an empty catalog, use the option 'fix' on your corrupt catalog.

  • Video clips will play only for a second before stopping in Movie Maker

    I am experienced with Movie Maker, but now when I try to set up a series of video clips, the video only play for one second (literally) before coming to rest. I tried several video formats without success. I am currently on updates and have never had this problem before. WMV files are choppy and slow and sometimes stop, too.

    Hi NessaWest,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. you receive an error message?

    I suggest that you disable audio and video filters in Windows movie maker and check if it helps.

    Video and audio filters are programs that are installed on your computer that help interpret video files so that they will display and play correctly. Windows Movie Maker uses when you import a video and audio, extract your project on the table of storyboard / timeline, and when you publish a movie.

    (a) open Windows movie maker

    (b) click on Toolsand then click Options.

    (c) click on the compatibility tab.

    (d) do one of the following:

    ·        To turn off a filter, clear the check box next to the name of the video filter.

    ·        To activate a filter, select the check box next to the name of the video filter.

    ·        To restore the default list, click restore all defaults.

    When you restore the default settings, the list and the filters settings are given to the last known good setting.

  • Screen refreshes every few seconds

    Computer model: HP Pavilion e040us 17

    Product: EOJ89UA #ABA

    Windows 8 (not 8.1)

    My wife left her cell open and when she came back, she was asleep.  She tried it to wake up (hit the wrong key), got frustrated and held down the power button to turn off.  She doesn't think that updates have been applied since the screen was black

    Now, once it is started, it can use one of the applications 'tiled' who do not use the desktop computer.  Once the office is open, the screen refreshes every few seconds.  The entire desktop goes blue, the desktop icons and background image disappear, and everything disappears from the system tray.  The system tray starts to rebuilds with the battery indicator, indicator of network, "speaker" icon, date & time, then all the rest of the system tray is back with the office (background image and all the icons).  In about 1 or 2 seconds, the cycle starts all over again.  I left the laptop that works thinking that something just needs to work to stand, but two hours later, it was still there.

    If I press the windows key enough times, he swaps ends up back in the tile view, and then he begins to paint it too.  The screen goes blue and then everything comes back.

    While this is the case, the only way to get the stop menu is ctrl + alt + delete.  Moving the mouse to the bottom right of the screen to bring up the menu of the settings does not work because the screen refreshes faster that you can click on the settings button.

    I restart the computer in safe mode and it didn't happen.

    I'm stumpped and really need help!

    Mark

    Hi, Mark.
    I don't know if this will help, but for me, I used system refresh to restore my laptop to factory settings (but keep my documents) and the problem seemed to go away. Partially, I think it was because I was running Classic Shell for Windows 8.0 rather my 8.1 - Although may not be the problem, refresh the laptop seemed to work!

  • Help! coloring a bottom line for 3 seconds in JTable with SwingTimer

    Hi, I'm fighting with this for the last three days, but can not find a solution.

    I have a JTable and when I insert a new line, I want to give this line a backgroundcolor for 3 seconds / or let it Flash for 3 seconds and then let it return to its original background color. While the current line is yellow, I want to insert a new line which would also yellow for 3 seconds. The previous row would return white earlier that line, because this line is inserted earlier.

    the problem is that when I add a new line, while the current line is yellow, the new line should the timer from the previous row, which means that the last inserted row will remain yellow for a time of shirter, which I don't want.
    I want a bgcolor 3 second for everyrow inserted. How can I achieve this?

    My code:

    startBlinking() is called when a new row is added to the JTable

    Public Sub startBlinking() throws InterruptedException {}

    If (timer.isRunning ()) {}

    timer.setInitialDelay (2);

    My question is, how can I use the code that you just pasted in my IDE?
    I have already added the Jar files in my path. The only thing that keeps me from compliling and execution of the code is the:

    Import org.jdesktop.swingx.InteractiveTestCase;

    Yes, it is not part of the output of swingx, it's part of our test support (we are lazy :-). Your options are at the checkout the complete code (including support for test) of the House of project and compile it in your ide - or just give up and replace it with a configuration of the 'normal' UI as shown below, no rocket science :-)

    Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

    (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
    • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

    Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

    If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

    To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
