Yahoo account question
Yes, I understand these are the Apple support forums, but I don't know where else to ask this question and I thought some of you would have the answer to this question.
I deleted my Yahoo account last week, but I've heard that the 500 million Yahoo accounts were hacked in 2014. I made my account in 2015. Im sure it is hacked since I made my account a year after the supposed hack, but if my account has been hacked and I deleted which would be safe?
If your account did not exist in 2014, then it is has not been hacked. Removal of the guarantees it will not be new since there was more pirate. Normally, at least the hackers got access to more information in the narrative, as credit card numbers, change your Yahoo password would have sufficed.
I transferred my two yahoo email accounts in Windows Live Mail. One account works well but the other shows send the above error when I type:
I get an error of Protocol SMTP Port 465 0x800CCC0F on Live Mail using 2 separate Yahoo accounts

I have several e-mail accounts, which is my original yahoo account that I used to almostt 2 years. (* E-mail address is removed from the privacy *) I did experiments to access this account with all my problems of very important Business inside. The problem is that this account always wonder an old security question, for which I don't have the right answer for access. If I ask too many times, I will be locked for 24 hours. I tried to link my account 'Facebook' for this particular Yahoo account, but my 'LENOVO' Lap Top computer with the Windows 7 operating system continues to send me an "Error Message". The Yahoo application question is - where I spend my honeymoon? It's not like I don't know where my wife and I where for our honeymoon wedding 8 years-although that every answer I entered appears to be incorrect. I don't remember what my specific Yahoo answer - that is looking for.

When I try to add my Yahoo account for Messages I get this message but the account is not added in preferences accounts. Any ideas how I can add my Yahoo account to Messages?
There is a lightweight process is troubleshooting this small setback. If all goes well, this should do the trick!
Thus, you must connect to your yahoo account (using a browser like Safari)
Go to settings > account security > passwords for the App manage (create a new password here)
Then jump on the mail app which is the application of default e-mail on your Mac, and he must ask your new password.
Now, when you open iMessage, this app should also request your password or if you click on "available yahoo" it should ask for a password and you put this password and it will work. If all goes well.
Please reply if this is problem.
I created a Thunderbird e-mail account just to use only once for a project. He took everything on my yahoo Inbox, as well as a lot of junk and put it in the Inbox of Thunderbird. Then I closed the window and now do not know how to get to my Thunderbird account, do not know what my user name or password (or is it the same as my yahoo account?) I asked two emails from Thunderbird, but it is seems that they should be caught and transferred into the Thunderbird e-mail account (I can't seem to) and it does not appear in my yahoo Inbox. Yikes! Can someone help me?
There is no such thing as a Thunderbird account so there is no username or password. Thunderbird is the e-mail client software that allows you to manage your real email account.
There is no way to request emails from Thunderbird. Draw it will send you anything. It is a software running on YOUR computer.
If your email account is with Yahoo then they are your provider and any loss of user name and or password must be sent with them.
My yahoo account is hacked. I changed my password of yahoo. I can access my account on the yahoo account. However, when I try this in TB it asks me to put the password and then does not recognize.
Try resetting the password Thunderbird remembered. When you are prompted for the password next time creating your new.
The above message began yesterday. I can connect to Yahoo Mail in a browser and my MacBook Pro and iPhone are very happy. Just this iPad now won't play.
By going into settings for this account Yahoo, that I have to enter the password. Do this with the password that works everywhere else returns
The e-mail address entered does not match your account!
The iPad is the faulty part, Yahoo is fine with the same password everywhere.
As part of this pain because my ID Apple corresponds to this e-mail address?
It all started yesterday was working fine.
Come magicians wonder how to make Apple iPad behave?
I tried to reboot several times.
The e-mail account receives an email saying I have connected from iPad.
Try going into settings, messages, contacts and calendars, then delete your yahoo account, come out, go back the and add the info and see if that helps.
Yahoo sometimes does things and the best way to solve it is just to do it again. You shouldn't lose any mail. I had to do in my account several times over the years
I have configured Outlook Express to send an email and I have imported all my emails from my yahoo account for Outlook Express. I thought that my original email would remain in yahoo, but they are all gone. How can I send them all back to my yahoo account. If I delete Outlook Express, then all my emails will be gone. Someone please help.
There is no easy way to get back them on the Yahoo Server. What you can do is to backup your OE folders (see www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx) and in the future, go to tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced and check the box that says to leave a copy of messages on the server, and then they will remain on the server when download you them in OE. Otherwise, EO tells the server to remove.
I have to close my account on Windows Live.
In fact I never wanted this account and it is not useful to me.
Read the guidelines for closing my account on Windows Live, I did not understand if my address mainly on Yahoo or my Yahoo account will be available after I closed this account.
I need a certain response because I still need my account or Yahoo mail.
Yahoo has nothing to do with Microsoft or Windows Live.
I can't send emails from my yahoo account, every time I tried to said content blocked: your email do not send. I don't know what is wrrong with my account. I need you to help me please
1. did you of recent changes on the computer?
2 when was the last time it was working fine?
3. what browser you use to access the yahoo account?
I suggest that you contact Yahoo support for more information on the issue.
But if I send the email to my yahoo account, it will open and play very well. I ran microsofts 'fix it' program many times without success. What could be wrong?
Hello Tango6,Maybe your security software prevents this? What security software currently installed and have you tried to disable it temporarily?Given that this occurs only with your Gmail account, I'd be willing to bet that they have in place security measures to prevent reading straight out of email attachments.I would check here just to make sure that:
