  Specifications of Marketing for the DUO13 do not have to reference "Gorilla Glass".

  That being said, I can tell you that the screen is durable enough for touchscreen everyday usage, however I would advise against putting the heavy weight or pressure on a specific point on the screen.

  Here is an excerpt directly in the VAIO manual on this model:
  "The LCD screen is made of glass reinforced to implement high durability, however treat the screen carefully because it is not 100% unbreakable."

  I have 2 of A2109 on command.  I was trying to get an iPad, but saw these on sale at Newegg for 229 and decided that I could get one for my wife and one for me for the same price as a single Apple device.  And specifications are superb.  Yes, I'm sure someone will remind me on the screen, but I don't think that that's going to bother me.
