I upgraded to El Capitan yesterday on my MacBook Air. FaceTime shows a red 1 in the corner. I haven't missed or made a call. How can I get rid of the Red 1?

Hi russalan,

I understand that after you upgrade to El Capitan yesterday, you see a badge notification for FaceTime and you want to get rid of it.  If you open system preferences > Notifications on your MacBook Air and then scroll to the bottom and select FaceTime, you can disable the feature icon App Badge.

Take care
