  I got this laptop last month but I'm really disappointed because it was a bloody slow wifi connection.

  I've already updated my wireless drivers, but nothing happens. The funny thing is I have an another old laptop, but it has a speed great wifi.

  I already try to do a speedtest of them both in the same place at the same time but my acer got 10-15mbps but my toshiba receives only 1-2 Mbps and it is very frustrating.

  I have a Qualcomm Atheros AR956x Wireless Network Adapter and I have read a few problems with this adapter. Please if someone who can help me with my problem.

  I'll sort to buy an external wifi adapter if necessary.

  Was wondering if anyone else has the same problem.

  I bought the unit a few days before and same day updated to Android 3.2 version. I use internet on my Wifi at home and have a Netgear - WGR614 router. Browsing speed is very very slow and do not open many of the sites.

  The intensity of the signal on the xoom is - (asu 3-105 DBM).

  Is this a problem with the Android 3.2 update or my wifi at home is low? I was able to reset the tab to the original version?

  I have a Netgear GS108 where I plugged all the ethernet cables over my ADSL Modem, a Linksys WAG320N

  Everything is OK apart I have a speed very very slow in the network; for example ISO 2k8r2 server transfer I take 30 minutes

  After many trials, I decided to start from scratch, I just powered on my ESXi2 machine and reinstalled ESXi 4.1U1 from scratch and I installed the Client vSphere for my Client PC which have a Gigabit Ethernet card and is also attached to the switch Gigabit however, speed is still the same, 2/3 MB / s.

  The strange thing is that also the same speed very slow, I created a Server 2008 VM and installed iperf to landmark of network and I get about 600 / 700 Mbps, so I really don't know what I can do.

  I replaced the ethernet cables, also tried to connect the cables directly to the modem and also I tried with another switch, but the result is always the same.

  Routers are NOT created equal.  There is a business reason switches cost $10,000 - $20,0000 dollars.

  Netgear router / switch is just a very BASIC.  It's not classy company.  That's your problem.  Get a better switch that you don't need to spend $10,000 but probably a few hundred... a GOOD show for home switch...

• Very slow WiFi

  For about a month now, our wi - fi is very slow and make it worse. We noticed it on our iPhones and iPads in particular. I use an Apple's Time Capsule airport for my network and we have internet optical fiber to 100 MB, so not needed or used modem.   Contrary to what you read, displaying stuff "etrecheck" this site is not the right way to get help.

  When you see a beachball cursor or the slowness is particularly bad, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

  These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

• PR CC Pro very slow on the new custom build and lag?

  I just finished my new workstation of the construction and the first port of call was the first Pro CC installation! This version was specially designed for video editing, but I'm sad to discover that Premiere Pro is very slow and laggy.   The answer could be as simple as: get a new router. but lets give it a try. I have read many many post about how to optimize the speed of the router, but none has worked so far.
