I was able to solve my problem and would like to share the solution with others in case this happens to you too.

I basically installed this package of media (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42503) and after that auto-rotation check button and work of suction works correctly.

Hope that this can also contribute to others.

    Welcome to the forums!

Although rare, the tablecloth that connects the screen can sometimes come off after opening and closing times for the years. I have seen this problem with all brands and makes.

Unfortunately, most of the disassembly instructions are videos. If you feel able to work on the device, you can check the connection on the motherboard and display side. Optionally, any local computer store should be willing to check this for you.

    Good luck!

  • Black screen on computer Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 after the opening session in Windows 8 screen

I return this laptop Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 about a month and it has Windows 8. I start the laptop and once I enter username and password, I have a black screen with the mouse pointer. Lenovo support has been useless. They asked me to run c:\windows\system\restore\rstrui.exe by using the Task Manager, but I get the file not found. When I go to the command prompt by using the Task Manager and check dir listing in the directory of restoration, it shows empty.

Very frustrated. Can someone please help here on the Microsoft Forum?

    Thank you in advance.

It seems to me a solution, it worked for me, so hopefully it will work for you as long as you experience the same problem.

Because you can always go to the sign in screen, do the following:

Click on the power icon in the lower right to open the menu,

Hold down the SHIFT key while clicking the button of /restart/ once.

A screen will appear after a few moments.

Click and follow the instructions /Refresh/ and let him go during its cycle...

    all fixed!

  • Will be the work of card Intel 7265 Wifi on my Yoga Pro 2?

I asked this question several times in the thread about the yoga pro 2 wifi problems, but it seems that no official representative seems to respond to our calls to find out if it works or not.

I want to buy a 7265 NOT 7260 intel card for my lenovo yoga pro 2. I'll buy it where Lenovo will advise you to buy it. Can you please just tell me who it works on my laptop and I'm going there buy immediately!

Furthermore, my Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 is planned for the Croatian market, I think (although I'm a Macedonian and I bought it from a dealer official Macedonian Lenovo and now my keyboard is messed up with Croatian letters, but that's another story). Is this lock active BIOS on my model, as well as American models have? Can I Exchange my wifi card for what wifi card?

Update: AC-7265NGW happened, does not work. Does not start, error message "unauthorized wireless network card. Turn off and remove the unit. »

Despite what Lenovo technical support told me 2 days ago, it does not. The person I spoke today after that this message was absolutely no idea, but also told me that there wasn't anything she could do to help.

What I get from this is that "Technical support" Lenovo is not tech savvy at all and don't know anyting about the products, only how to read instructions of troubleshooting on a screen.

  • Yoga Pro 2 - display not recognized in windows (hardware or driver problem?)

Out of warranty by a month!

Yoga Pro 2-256 gb, installed a new wireless card a month ago. Windows 8.1

The touchscreen still work while the screen is black.

System restarted after the mode 'sleep', in my opinion.

The Lenovo logo is displayed, seems to load Windows, but when windows loads (I don't see it so it is a hypothesis of load) drafts of the screen and the black light is on.

Can I connect an external monintor that connects after the return from sleep mode (odd). Who then off the backlight.

When the external monitor, the internal screen is not yet recognized by windows.

When I boot in safe mode, the internal display works fine with of course limited capabilities.

I rebooted on the support site display drivers.

Right now my internal monitor is not recognized by windows and is dark, and I can use an external monitor.

Someone at - he of the clues as to what my happen? Hardware, driver etc?

    Can what information I provide?

It is a pretty weird problem with contradictory observations.

    (1) screen working in Mode safe but not regular boot. (So not the hardware problem)

    (2) display on an external monitor in normal mode. (So, no drivers issue)

Have you installed the wireless card yourself? You unplug the cable from the screen during the installation of the card?

Could you re - open and check that all connections are good?

The Wi - Fi card works well?

I also recommend a complete reset of the laptop to eliminate the possibility that it is a corrupt driver. You can use the NOVO button to reset your laptop. Make sure you make a backup on an external drive for your personal files.

    Hello Varshil07,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

If I understand your message, by updating your Mac you have forced stop, or you have closed the lid, and now it does not start.  To start, I suggest that try you to start in safe mode by following the instructions below.  For later use, it's a good idea to not force the computer to shut down or close the lid while it is up to date, because it can cause problems.

    1. Choose the Apple menu > shut down.

    2. After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.

    3. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.

You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.

    4. Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.

To exit safe mode, restart your Mac, but no press during the startup.

OS X El Capitan: start in safe mode

    Have a good.

  • Portege M400 - screen rotation utility does not

A week ago, I turned the screen to put in tablet mode and noticed that the screen does not rotate 90 degrees automatically as it normally does.

I then pressed the button of the screen rotation so that it would automatically adjust to the direction that the laptop was in. This had no effect.

I was able to rotate the screen manually by going to the graphic properties and you can set up hotkeys to rotate manually onscreen, but is no longer automatically adjusts. I ran the utility of toshiba manually rotation, but it doesn't have an effect either.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hello kjames

Try again with the official page of Toshiba support under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads. It's the Rotation Utility for Windows XP Edition Tablet version 4.00.00.06.

  • Portege M800 - lack of screen rotation function

    Hello

I use my M800 with a secondary monitor, and I would like to rotate the screen so I can view long documents. However, there is no this rotation feature under graphics properties-> display settings. I wonder if the M800 doesn't have this feature? (I believe that chipset Intel GMA 4500MHD offers such a function) I've updated my graphics drivers to the latest version. Is it possible to activate this feature?

    See you soon,.
    yuch

    Hello mate

Hmmm maybe it s just a matter of driver that is installed on your laptop
I remember that my U400 (with Intel graphics card) didn't provide such screen rotation on the first day of purchase, but after an update of graphic card driver (I used the page Intel Intel driver) I could find this option in Intel graphics Media Accelerator

I think you should also try to update the display driver

  • The spectrum X 360 screen rotation

Hi, I recently bought the spectrum X 360 with 10 windows, but the rotation of the screen does not work in tent and Tablet mode.

I tried to find a solution for this in the display settings, but this display rotation Lock is enabled and disabled. So I can't even change it.

Please let me know how to activate the screen rotation.

Found a solution: Win + R-> type "regedit" and enter

    The Registry Editor opens.

    Goto-> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AutoRotation path

Check the value of the file if it is 0 rotation will be OFF, if 1 rotation will be THERE.

Reboot and auto rotation will work.

Note: The lock rotation in display settings button is still disabled, do not know why.

Let me know if it helps.

  • Yoga Pro 3: battery problem

    Hello

my 4 month old Yoga Pro 3 just start having some battery problems:

The State of the battery indicates 0%, even if I've charged for 3 hours. No change. If I unplug the charging cable, it crashes. (Orange light, saying no autonomy here)

I rebooted, updated to the most recent State and also tried the 30 sec method, proposed in this topic (Klick me).

Can someone please advise what to do? Is it a hardware problem or software?

    Thank you very much!!
