  It looks like s of a keyboard failure or a cable loose keyboard. Think the best way is to contact the keyboard replacement service, or you can try to use an external USB keyboard.

  You need these drivers...

  First install the smbus controller driver and restart.

  This package contains the driver and Intel Chipset Installation Utility for the notebook models and operating systems. This utility allows the operating system to show the correct name for the Intel hardware that is installed in the Microsoft Windows Device Manager.

  Then install it...

  If you need all the other software/drivers for your PC, you can use the drivers W7 HP 2000 t - 2A 00 on your model, except the BIOS and firmware files.

  Hello world. I hope you don't mind offering support for a Windows 2000 based platform here, (I don't think Windows Update deferred much, if at all between the two operating systems)

  In any case, all of a sudden, I get error 0x80072EFE in Windows Update all of a sudden. I tried several troubleshooting steps, delete the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution to just reboot my computer. Nothing seems to work, and I hope someone has a step that will be.

  My copy of Windows XP works the same as yours.  Apparently the date folder is not updated when the content is, that fact make some sense as the folder itself is not updated when new content is created in the it.

  I have seen your problem on your laptop HP 2000-2116TU and having overheating problems. Here is a link that will show you how to troubleshoot overheating.

  Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need. Simply download and run the program on your laptop and it will help with software updates and driver on your system.

  You could restore the BIOS using factory default values with this. Here is a document that will help.

  First of all, in my opinion, this operating system is already installed
