  Rearchiving to Destination failed

  Use the REOPEN attribute of the LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_ n parameter to specify if and when ARCn should attempt to rearchive to destination failed due to an error. REOPEN applies to all errors, not only OPEN errors.

  REOPEN=nsets the minimum number of seconds until ARCn must try to reopen a destination failed. The default value of n is 300 seconds. A value of 0 is the same as turning off the REOPEN attribute. ARCn will not attempt to archive after a failure. If you do not specify the REOPEN keyword, ARCn will never reopen a destination as a result of a mistake.

  You cannot use REOPEN to specify the number of retries ARCn should do to reconnect and transfer archives newspapers. The REOPEN attempt succeeds or fails.

  When you specify REOPEN for a OPTIONAL destination, the database can replace newspapers online, if there is an error. If you specify REOPEN for a MANDATORY destination, the database stops the production database when he can't archive successfully. In this case, consider the following options:

  Are you referring to DC Acrobat or Acrobat Reader DC.

  Acrobat Reader DC is a free application & Acrobat DC is a purchased app.

  To uninstall the application, do so simply in the Applications folder in the trash folder.

  I think you're talking about using the crop tool? If you're cropping with a size and resolution that involves interpolation of the image, the crop tool will use your preference for the Interpolation of the Image. By default, bicubic is automatic, which can easily result in a sharp file. Change your preference (in general) to bicubic and you shouldn't see any sharpening.
