Your laptop is plugged in and the battery won't charge. __
MY LAPTOP WILL ONLY START WHEN CONNECTED TO THE UNIT FROM THE WALL BUT NOT SE LOAD AT ALL. I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO LOAD A NIGHT & STILL NO CHARGE WHAT SO EVER. WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THIS? WHAT IS MY HARDWARE?
The battery would be my first guess that the PC works directly on the charger - but it could also be the program to load the battery and connections. Remove and replace the battery to make sure that the connections are solid. If you have another battery (or access to another battery, you can try to see if the problem persists or if he disappears - then you will be very well known.) In any case, if this is not possible, I recommend that take you it to a repair shop computer (or return it to the manufacturer) for the diagnosis, repair or replacement.
I don't know any way to test this situation without special equipment or replacement parts. You can always try to re - install the operating system to rule out a software problem (if you want to do business with what this implies in terms of data backup and reinstall applications and reconfigure the settings and others). Without info on the manufacturer, brand and model (and operating system), I can't help you more in this option.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

My laptop is plugged in, but the battery won't charge
Hello
In the last two months, capability of my laptop to charge its battery has degraded.
She went to a battery completely (100%), not being able to load beyond 98% and then 66% and 30%, and now finally, it says "0% availability (plugged in, charge)", but it never increases support. Thus, the laptop works when plugged into the charger, but does not illuminate when it is attached only on the battery.
I rebooted the computer several times - first to stop the machine, then unplug it, remove the battery, press and hold the Start button for a minute, then put the battery back, plug the charger in and rebooting the machine.
I installed updates for "Stacks" (IE. Microsoft AC adapter, compatible ACPI Microsoft control method battery and battery Composite Microsoft) in Device Manager.
I also uninstalled the Microsoft ACPI complaint method stack and shutdown and restarted the laptop several times.Earlier I called Toshiba support and update the BIOS of 1.50 to 1.70, then restarted the computer, but yet again, the battery won't charge.
I bought a new battery, which showed that it was fully charged when when I have attached to my laptop, but when exhausted 0% load, I got the same message as for the other battery: "0% availability (plugged in, load).
I am really puzzled. If not, how can I try to increase the capacity of my laptop battery?
In my opinion, old battery was certainly defective.
Is your new original battery, Toshiba battery or any part of third-party product? When you start Notepad without battery and put in place when Windows is loaded does the problem persist?

I get the error message is: AC power adapter type cannot be determined. Your system will run more slowly and the battery won't charge.
Hello
(1) when you receive this error message?
(2) what is the brand and model of your computer?
(3) did you change on your computer before this problem?
It seems that the adapter has gone wrong, I suggest you to connect another card and see if the problem still occurs.
You can also contact the computer manufacturer for assistance on this issue. -
My satellite phone battery does not light and the battery won't charge (rest on 2%)
Basically, my laptop is 3 months old and I don't know why it's acting weird. First of all, when I bought the laptop in June 06... the first week the laptop has no power in battery mode. So I stopped using the battery mode and still had to use my power adapter to power my laptop.
Now 4 weeks later, I removed the battery to the rear and put again. Guess what the battery started working. Now 2 months later the same problem occurs, only that this time after removing the battery to it still turn on and the battery says 2% and also fails to load.
So I m stuck with my son again... can anyone help?Hello
In my opinion the best solution is to confront your local dealer with this problem. If I were you I wouldn't waste time. Unit is fairly new, warranty still valid and unit should operate.
Perhaps is there some problem with electronic supply power.

My laptop is plugged in, but the battery is not charging
My system is win7 Ultimate, 32-bit operating system. My laptop is Toshiba Satellite - C600 - 02L, processor: Intel (r) Pentium (R) CPU, P600 1.87 GHz, 1.87 GHz... I bought it about a year and eight months ago.
I noticed that the battery light is off. I checked the battery meter icon & he said the PC was plugged, but the battery was not in charge. In the Device Manager window, I found that a device was not working properly. The details of this device are:
Device type: drivers Non Plug-and-Play
Service name: MpKsl45a6e13d
This device is not present, is not working properly or is not all its drivers installed. (Code 24).
I don't know if this has nothing to do with the problem, but if so, what is the solution to this problem? Please help me solve this problem.
Thank you.

Hi Mustafa
This information shows that your battery has 62% of the original capacity left. Even if it's a little weak, it is not at a critical point where the battery should be the cause of all the problems. The typical Li-ion battery will last for 1 to 3 years.
I would recommend that you go to Toshiba Support forums and check to see if there is a utility to check the status of the material of the AC/charge circuit on this laptop. Here are a few links for your convenience.

Hi I have a question about my laptop Toshiba Satellite. I've had it for almost 2 years and it worked fine up until just recently, my laptop stops itself and I thought before that this could be due to a heating problem but when it stops my laptop is not yet hot. I have installed new programs or anything again for that matter so I'm honestly confused? What's wrong with that? I also keep my laptop on a laptop computer fan to keep over heating.
Hello
It might possible that the battery is going bad.
However, try the following steps:
Method 1:
See the link, then run the Fixit.

Can we keep the laptop plugged even after the battery is fully charged?
When my battery is fully charged, is it acceptable to continue using the charging or is it better to unplug? My friends have different opinions on this topic and one of them said to me that if I continue to load while it is fully charged, it quality will be reduced or something. Is this really possible?
Hello
The best information comes from the machine system.
Batteries and loads in portable computers today are designed to stay in the computer
available to use and reload. The system more now have an automatic release of configuration which
will drain the battery a bit then are. That helps keep the battery refreshed
If the battery has more power and lasts longer.Check these:

Satellite A30 - electric light flashes and the battery does not charge
Hi guys,.
I have the model above and recently, when I plug in my power cord to the back of the laptop instead of the usual constant green light loading, the indicator flashes and the light orange low battery always flashes as well.
I have checked the plug, unplugged the power cord from the laptop and plugged back again but does not help. A few times it started loading so everything went well and now he again refuses to load.
Any suggestions how I can solve this will be highly appreciated.
Thank you.
Dante
Looks like a hardware problem
Usually if the power light blinks then it does not sound good because the LED provides an error code which can be read by a technician for laptop
But before you will contact the technician for laptop for help, try to do it:
Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter from the portable computer
Wait about 20-30 minutes and then reconnect the two parts. Then try to turn on the laptop
If it doesn t help that it s time for the call of the ASP

my computer is plugged in but the battery is not charging WHY?
Why is my battery no load but plugged?
Three reasons...
- The battery is getting old and not in good condition
- The power supply on the side of the machine has been fired and is no longer in contact
- Circuit of the charger inside the laptop does not work as it should.
Which is more likely to apply to you?

Pavilion 17 "and the battery won't go out.
A few weeks ago, I bought a 17 "HP pavillion (so its new brand). I've been running it through the power cable for the most part I can't move it and use it essentially as a desktop model. I put in the battery or yesterday to use / run down it and then load it back to the top (I was advised to do once a week), but when I decided to take the battery back after it has been loaded, it doesn't move.
I tried to slide on the locking mechanism, but it won't move to the left at all. She will move to the right about 1/8 "(the cursor is on the right, as it is) and seems to make the plate on the bottom and under the cursor, pop up a little bit. I could easily put more force behind pushing the slider on the left, but I'm worried about breaking it.
I brought it. "a fault" and the laptop will be exchanged. So if someone else this problem, bring it to where you bought it. Fortunately, I'm still within the period of guarantee and Exchange

has ran battery optimizer, and now the battery won't charge
Old ze4100 HP laptop running XP Service Pack 3
you will probably need a new battery
If you want the best performance for a battery, you must set its memory
full charge, then dump complete, again, and again, three times, then you will have a full brief on the battery,
also, if you are going to be on the current for an extended period, I read that you should take the battery, but I can't guarantee it.
I do not think that an optimizer will do anything for a battery, but that's my opinion :)
above is to search google for the battery support, hp, you can browse the net and find a solution.

X 220 clean install. Now, no OSD and the battery don't charge threshold
Hello world
I installed an mSATA SSD last night with the 2.5 hdd 320 "stock on my X220i (4286-2AU). I did a clean install of Windows 7 on mSATA, that will be my OS drive.
I installed most of the drivers for the devices, but note that even if most of the function keys (FN +...) (the WIFI FN + 5 even does not), is no longer there we're working on a display on the screen. I play with this before clean install so I know that with the factory settings, OSD worked very well. I check the display properties in Windows and on screen display is checked.
In addition, in the power manager, I have more the possibility to set minimum and maximum battery charge start and stop the thresholds.
For the power management driver I installed only
Power Manager for Windows 7 (32 bit, 64 bit), Vista (32-bit, 64-bit) - ThinkPadand to the left of two other pilots:
- Driver ThinkPad Power Management for Windows 7 (32 bit, 64 bit), Vista (32 bit, 64 bit), XP (32-bit, 64-bit) - ThinkPad
- Module ThinkPad Power Manager Patch for Windows 7 (32 bit, 64 bit), Vista (32 bit, 64 bit), XP - ThinkPad
I've also already installed I think I should have to take care of OSD but I guess I was wrong:
Integration of features Hotkey for Windows 7 (32 bit, 64 bit), Vista (32 bit, 64 bit), XP (32-bit, 64-bit) and 2000 - ThinkPadbut decided to jump:
ThinkVantage Access Connections for Windows 7 (32 bit, 64 bit) - laptopsWould appreciate any help on this matter. He's not a killer, but thresholds OSD and battery were something I was looking forward from that installed clean.
Thank you!!!
Hi alanbrenton;
Did you put it in there.
This must go with shortcut keyboard and Power Manager.

Equium M50 - the battery won't charge
Hi, I need some advice on a problem of load on my PC.
Battery does not charge and the level indicator shows a constant 5%.
The machine is about 15 months old and does she not get hard usage, probably an average of 5 to 10 hours per week. Usually, it is powered by the sector, so the battery tends to be kept filled to the top.
Before I go and replace the battery, y at - it no diagnosis, I can do as a user?Looking forward to a response.
Thank you very much
SteveHello
No, I think Don t that it is meaningless to make a diagnosis because it sounds like a hardware related issue and I think that it would be preferable to bring your machine to a service partner chartered for a checkup of material, or probably an exchange of defective components.
To find the nearest available in your country service partner, you can try this link:
