Z10 blackBerry does not start

My z10 it starts not reaches 99% and then it does not move. I tried bblink ollso but it takes a lot of time as a time of 4hrs of 28%.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Something is very wrong, most likely with your operating system itself - corruption or something similar. If you have waited for a long time (e.g., measured in hours, not minutes) and start never ends, then please first simply remove the battery and wait 15 minutes. Then insert the battery and allow it to start again.

If this fails, you may have to reload your OS. Given the conditions you describe, I believe that an autoloader has a chance of success for you:

Good luck and let us know!

  • Z10 Z10 blackBerry does not start since then try a secure erase

I had problems where none of my text messages have been moved during the previous Blackberry, such as reported earlier today. I was also disappointed by the speed of handset, BBM for example would take at least 5 seconds to load (now on my old torch), so I made a secure erase so I could try the installation again. This seems to have been a mistake, as the handset now does not start. I see "Blackberry" appear for a second, then get a logo that seems to be asking me to connect the unit to a PC. It does nothing - the PC does even not record that a device has been plugged in. After a minute or so, the screen fades and the handset appears just to turn off. I'm very disappointed in my first day with the handset - far from a smooth experience as it should be, I was left the impression that OS10 is still in early beta development.

What can I do to remedy this?

    kb33480 should help you.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Z10 nine does not start

I just got a new Z10 now. I put in the sim card, battery and pressing the power button. He didn't turn on so I plugged it in. LED came on for a second or two, exploded, and then after a few seconds, a red battery with an exclamation point icon came on the screen. I tried several other chargers and none of them worked. I tried to plug it into my computer and it didn't work.

I searched the forums and found someone else with the same problem and the only response has been to connect it without the battery, then type in the battery. It did not work for this guy, he did not work for me.

I think, it could be the battery, but I don't know anyone with a Z10 I could try swapping the batteries with. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Hello and sorry to hear that.

Your phone must have started at the present time a charged battery has been inserted, so I would say the battery was DOA.
The OEM charger has a mah, higher than the closest voltage Chargers, so I would leave it plugged in for a while and hope the phone starts when it begins to take a load.

Otherwise, you have to get your hands on another farm.

  • Z10 Z10 blackBerry does not connect to the mobile network

I live in an apartment and sometimes when I get a no signal (like the elevator or the basement) location in a place where there should be a signal strong, the Z10 I have isn't always connect to it. Instead, I see that the network is listed as "SOS" or "302-500".

My ISP is Wind Mobile to the Canada. The Z10 is a factory-unlocked directly from Blackberry. I already changed the SIM card once, but it didn't seem to help.

Try this: settings, network and connections, Mobile network, manual network selection Mode change.

It should automatically scan, can take a few minutes, when the Scan stops choose wind, do not choose any others listed will not work.

  • Contact folder settings change Z10 blackBerry does not stick

I have a z10 connected to exchange 2013 via activesync.  Randomly, my selections "edit contacts folder settings" gets delivered to all contacts folders.  I also noticed when this happens that my contacts are all gone, and I have to disable/re-enable contacts sycn to retrieve them.  What happens on almost every blackberry on our system.  Recently, we migrated from groupwise to Exchange...  So this is a new installation of exchange, and perhaps're missing us a setting somewhere?

We have also removed any contact folder except the "blackberry" folder we want synchronized, and it also erases random contacts on the phone.

    Everyone fell on this?

It turns out that it's a bug...  They will be be fixing this issue in a future release.  They are making a KB36964 article that will soon be available to the public.

What worked for me is to completely disable the synchronization of contact, and then turn it back on.  The question returned however...

It was also noted that during these synchronization problems the PIM service would eat to the top of the stack and drainign in a few hours.

    Hope this helps someone

  • Menu of certificate import Z10 blackBerry does not

I tried to import self-signed and certificate user on usb and wifi, as shown here: http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/47561/als1342708099072.jsp

When I choose the certificate store, I want to update, and then click Next, the application crashes / freezes. None of the buttons on the bottom answer ("back / select all / update / Import"), and none of the certificates I copied on my phone are listed.  I have to drag up from the bottom and close the application.

I even tried e-mailing certificates to myself and to import, without success.  When I go to view the certificates, I am invited to a password over and over again, even to enter the password each time.

I tried to remove the battery, install the OS recent update (10.1.0.4181) and make a secure erase. The import certificate tool crashes even when there is no certificate in the Cert folder.  My phone is unlocked and unbranded, so I did not all restrictions.

I ran out of ideas and time troubleshooting.  Your help is appreciated.

I thought about it.  When you go in the Cert folder on the device, there is a subfolder sdcard that points to the root (/) of the SD card.  When you go to this folder, I noticed there were a few files (not the certificate files) that I had stored there (that I now moved).  After that I opened them, the import tool seems to work very well.  It seems that the import tool was trying to read these files and has been suspended because they were not the files of certificates/cannot read the files / whatever the reason.

  • View of landscape Z10 blackBerry does not

For some reason some don't change not the view landscape when I tilt the phone horizontally.  No messages, texts or any other program.  I tried to find something in the settings, but cannot find anything.

    Hello

Have you checked lock switch? When you first shot to the bottom of the home screen, selecting 'Settings', there also is an element of 'Rotation Lock'... is it active? If this is the case, then it does exactly what it is supposed to do...

Otherwise, each time a random strange behavior or slowness comes, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:

    • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. If this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.

See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Good luck!

  • Z10 Z10 blackBerry does NOT ILLUMINATE

My camera worked fine for a month now until last night it turns off while loading and now won't turn back on. I tried battery pull, through different sockets, but all I get is the red LED and no further response.

    Please help me!

    Hi Huxleyb95

    Welcome to http://supportforums.blackberry.com/

In this case, it is recommended to install an OS autoloader

So, you can transform your blackberry to normal.

All the information will be lost on your BlackBerry.

I also leave you a link on leaked operating system with automatic charger upgrade...

  • Z10 Z10 blackBerry does not connect to wifi

I'm unable to connect my unlocked Verizon St004 Z10 to my wifi network. Connect with success all devices at home and my previous 9860 used to connect without a problem. Tried to reboot the router. WPA - PSK security type

The first thing I would do is to connect your device to the software link on your PC and make a full backup. Then use the link to update your device as its very old BONES. Then see if the problem persists.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones tried updated 9810. now blackberry does not start. does not refresh.

It turns out it was my desktop software that was.

  • My blackberry blackBerry smartphones does not start!

    Hello!

My blackberry does not start. I charged the battery for 2 h 30, removed the battery, I tried everything I could, but nothing, it does not work. Do you know how I can start the blackberry?

    Thank you!

Yes, get a wall charger and plug it in. USB charge only the phone if there is always some charge in the battery. USB, will show a red light but won't load at all because the PC must identify the phone before charging starts.

  • BlackBerry 8250 new smartphones does not start with the connected SIM card

I'm having a problem with my new Blackberry of Virgin Media (mobile).  I just got it and when I have a connected SIM card I only get the loading screen timer and the blackberry does not start.  If I have no connected SIM card the device starts in the operating system, but was told that there is just no SIM connected (obviously).  Once I put the SIM card in again once it is stuck on the loading screen.  As you probably already figured out that I did many resets hard with the battery pull and it has not solved the problem.  A consultant because it would be greatly appreciated because the only advise I got support was remove the boot of sim and put it back and start again duh!
