  If I load a new o.s. on my z10 and before that I did I load my all my pic, music and contact on a sd card. I also did a return to the top with the software link.

  Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

  A backup BlackBerry link contains 3 types of databases. Application data, media, and parameters.

  The Data of Application contains data related applications such as game data saved, the local PIM data such as contacts and calendar data (which is stored locally on the BlackBerry, do not live sync) and notes in the application do not forget.

  Media contains a backup of all the images, video and music stored locally on your BlackBerry (not including the SD card).

  Parameters contains the General settings for BlackBerry as UI settings, notifications and email accounts.

  To answer your question; No, you cannot open the data specific restore all files and backup such as Remember application data or parts saved as they are part of the basis of Application data . However, you can select only the data from the Application to restore the backup and omit the media and settings , if you wish.

  the Z10 does not support java applications.

  with the exception of android applications that can be run in a runtime (but have not access to many API).

  I moved to + native waterfalls, so big c ++, made a little easier by Qt, which is much more similar to java by structure. It took me about 2-3 months to get productive with it (while developing java applications, it is so much shorter if you invest more time).

• Z10 blackBerry network connection problems

  I have a BB Z10 with which I have a few questions... networks shows the device it is connected to the WIFI and data services are on etc, but it seems that the thought system is not connected.  Internet does not work and my email addresses are also kaput.  A message in the e-mail says in written Red settings "device not connected to the network" even if the network connection settings showed that it should be.  I can still make calls and BBM. Any ideas/suggestions please?

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should translate a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait message "registration" happen

  2) restart

  • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

  The easiest way is to create a backup of your application Z10 BlackBerry via BlackBerry link (click the BlackBerry down and backup now).

  Then do a security wipe by going to settings > Security > Security wipe.  Please note: this will delete all data off the BlackBerry Z10.

  Or you can manually delete contacts one by one.

  Well, there is no individual call BB10 it blocks.

  As a suggestion, I suggest you contact your service provider and see if they can help.
  Otherwise you can change ring the phone of the number to something that indicates that it is a wrong number and ignore.

  I use bluetooth in my car to make or receive phone calls and it only allows you to stream Pandora.  On my previous BBs, I was able to disable the handset function and just use streaming, but I'm not find similar options on the Z10.  Does anyone know how to do this?   Depending on your vehicle, you will need to access your Bluetooth set up or the settings in the dashboard of your car to control what features are Bluetooth-enabled.

  I have a Playbook and two new BB Z10s (me and my husband). We have a primary e-mail address. The playbook has a Blackberry ID, which is our email address, and I realize that the same ID is used for my BB Z10. It's do we have implemented Z10 my spouse on the same Blackberry ID or a separate ID, like the Blackberry, web site says to use the same ID for all your devices?

  If we use the same ID of Blackberry, is - that denies any Z10 function between two phones such as Video Chat, etc?

  You want to use a different BlackBerry ID for Z10 your wife as you you can have an active BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry handheld device at a time. That's pretty much the reason allude you. BBM can operate only on one device at a time, so if you have two computers with the same BlackBerry ID pocket, you will not be able to get the BBM on both devices.

  I know it's a pain for all you have apps, but as far as I know, there is no other way to do this now.
