You will need to do a security wipe (reset) and then restore your data with link if you made a backup.

Hello. I'm new to this forum and hope someone can help out. I have a locked Z10 and I am on a mobile phone service provider if it makes a difference. I called AT & T, and they suggested that I try to back up my phone by logging into Blackberry link and/or Blackbery Blend. I tried to do both and link does not allow me to log on because it recognizes my phone is locked. I logged on Blackberry Blend using my ID BB however it says I need to activate BlackBerry mixture on my phone to synchronize. I obviously can't do it because I don't remember my password.

Is another that tries to enter any other passwords incorrect 10 times and my phone being wiped, there anything else I can do to unlock my phone? My phone will be usless after that my device is deleted?

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

In addition, via PC/browser, log in the website to protect, in using BBID credentials that are associated with the device. Through this interface, you have the option to change your password for the device-lock. I saw the option on this screen... but never tried to use it effectively, I would be interested in your results.

Good luck and let us know!

    Hello

I agree with @JSanders , once it is dry that the BBID is therefore more about Fanta devic, you can start the original game from the phone to the new BBID on it.

  • BlackBerry App Z10 LOCK forgot password

I have problem for my device bb z10 forget my paswword to app ANTIH VOL. But this problem MY BB device is now OS 10.3.3. . How I can still use my camera. Please masta?

First of all, you should not use 10.3.3 at this stage. The operating system that is there is not complete and is simply intended for developers to test their applications on. In addition, you cannot downgrade to 10.3.2 once you're 10.3.3.

You will need your BBID password to access the device. If you forgot what you need to reset the password to www.bbid.com.

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Z10 locked 10.2.1

The phone was working fine until I went to connect it to the BB link to perform a backup, then he asked me the password for my phone as BB link normally would. Now the password on my phone is the picture password but that was just asking for a password then I typed the password old text I had, but that has not worked. Then I typed the number I use the photo but password that does not work either. Tried several times until I got to 5 tries without success. Went to my phone and it said there were 5 attempts at this password, when you reach 10 that will wipe the device. Good so I tried to unlock the phone from the phone and he asks a password in the new text, and not the picture password. Typed my old password text but no luck.

So now I'm completely locked out of my phone, I tried my password BBID, but who do not have too. I could wipe and restore from previous backup, I had, but it's a few weeks now and I don't understand why this is happening.

Unfortunately, I decided to have just the phone wipe so I will restore the backup I had before and all my settings are there.

After being over at Crackberry forum as well, I think that I just had a brain PET and could ' t remember the password I used when putting on the picture password. Thought it was my original password, but apparently not. I tried another but which was my last attempt and it wasn't fair.

Phone take it off now and then that I'll have to restore the backup. * sigh *.

  • BlackBerry Z10 locking vs encryption

    Greetings,

What is the difference between a device lock and encrypt? I realize that this may seem obviouse to some, but this is an example where simply a locking device does not provide sufficient protection?

    Thank you

    Shane.

Locking: as lock combination on a newspaper. If you don't know the combination, you're not open the newspaper. But if someone enter and the newspaper is in plain text format, then the log (memory, for example) can be read.

Encryption: When enabled, the content of the log (memory) is encoded so that it cannot be read in plain text directly (from the material) and can only be decoded with the key.

Setting a password is a wise thing to do and the single most effective thing you can do to prevent the inadvertent disclosure of information if someone gets hands on your device, for example, if you lose the device.   Encryption does not hurt, maybe reduced performance light, but questionable if the consumer needs on the memory of the device, but you'll probably want to use on the removable memory.

Be aware that if you enable encryption on the card device BB10 and wipe the device, you will not be able to read the data on the card that has been stored before erasing.

  • Protect the Z10 bb blackBerry

Hello, Iam new and have a big problem. My Z10 was not prpperly in working and made a wipebut of security is now asking me for a bb ID, which I do not or the password can be disabled the BBprotect and antithief on the phone by computer function somehow. Please I neeed help

This is IMPORTANT: do not remove your BBID. Do not reset your BBID. You may well be in a situation where your device is useless unless you get the BBID. And if you remove the BBID while there might be no hope.

See http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Device-software/How-to-regain-access-to-your-BBID/... for advice. But, repeat, DO NOT delete the current BBID.

If you are unable to retrieve the BBID and you are locked out of the unit because of that, BlackBerry has stated that...

  • 10.2.1.537 Z10 post upgrade Blackberry Z10 OS blackBerry-phone call does not

    Dear team,

I have updated to OS 10.2.1.537 today morning post updated and I'm not able to make phone calls. On the choice of the network, I am able to select the required network (Airtel India) but not able to make phone calls. Neither the data service works. SMS message also works using the telephone network, but not the call. Tried restarting, remove the SIM and the battery without any improvement.

When you try to call I always get the message "the cell phone line is not available. Choose a different phone line and try your call again.

    concerning

    Surya Roy

Hello and welcome to the community!

10.2.1.537 is, in relative terms, a very old operating system level... you really need to use something more current, especially given your model Z10. I recommend that you force a reload of BONE via the more energetic method... ADF:

Remember that you you get the AutoLoader for 10.2.1.3247 because it contains some very important fixes for the Z10 specifically.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Z10 reloading BBlackBerry Z10 with BlackBerry link

Yesterday, I tried to reload my firmware Z10, but was not successful. After you download the firmware online, he began to extract, but it took over 2 hours, and it always showed extract... Off my system cus it was running on battery power. When I got power and tried to run, he tried to check the updated and returned with "Sorry, there is no update for this device", although the system was not connected to the internet. Since I already have the files downloaded into the folder of the Application Loader in AppData, can restart the entire process without BlackBerry link go online to check the updates rather than the AppData folder?

Please any help will be appreciated. Thank you

That's the problem. 10.3.3 is intended for developers only. You can not downgrade to 10.3.3. It is an irreversible improvement just as 10.3.2. You're stuck with 10.3.3 until an official version.

Everything you read online coming back was incorrect.

  • Wipe the Z10 Z10 security blackBerry problem

    Nice day

Last night at 10:30 I started a wipe of my BlackBerry Z10 security is expected to be completed at the time wherever I woke. But it is now 1:30 and it still shows the shredder icon. Would it really just that it took 27 hours (and still ongoing) to wipe the device? I don't believe it. What can I do to fix this?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Yours sincerely,

    Christopher van der Velden

    No, it's a bit long.

Try to remove the battery for five minites, reinsert and see what happens. If the cloth continues, let it sit for a bit longer and then let us know.

  • Z10 Z10 My BlackBerry automatically deletes all data every time I restart phone

I don't know what the problem with my Z10 since last weekend, I noticed that any time my phone restarts all my data are deleted. I thought it was a minor problem new Apps I downloaded and deleted but there are still the stills. So I decided to delete my phone to factory settings and restore from a previous backup dated (02/02/2015) that i made before I upgraded to OS 10.3.1.2243. It has now got worse I can't even restore my previous backup as my phone, that's why, when the phone restarts after backup restoration as it does normally goes back to factory settings. I tried following the education provided by Blackberry to fix the bug in this link http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/viewdocument.do;jsessionid=42944EB3464C0DAD08639BF5A8C876B0?... .

Yet he said that "the solution is not applicable to this device. Pls I need urgent help because it is obvious that the new OS 10.3 has problems, can't use my phone at all so no contacts on the left

Yes everything works perfectly now and hope that it works for you. Check what blackberry support asked me to (see link)http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/viewdocument.do?externalId=KB36747&sliceId=2&cmd=displayKC&d which did not work so I continued to audit information on this forum who directed me to this site http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-10-OS-Device-Software/Upgrading-OS10-devices-using... the idea here is to go back to the old OS) in order to go down and my phone is on the right track. what I did was run a full backup first, demote to 10.2 from the link above that he's clear all data and install a new OS, so I restored my files back. It takes a long time to download and install, but I'm happy, its working now (about 3 hours in total).

The good funny thing is that I downloaded the version 10.2.1.3253 of the software , but for some reason any post-installation he became 10.3.1565 and works perfectly. for installation, I followed the instructions on this site checking a link http://www.blackberryos.com/blackberry-10-os/37518-how-install-leaked-os-onto-your-blackberry-10-sma...

Hope this helps, and make sure you follow each step by step.

the next time that I will be very careful before putting him give at least 4 months before so I can assure people that an update is bug free

  • Z10 taken blackBerry trapped in the screen reader!

Today my Z10 decided to enter accessibility mode, including the screen reader. I can't go to settings to turn it off, as the screen will not scroll upwards or downwards. You can access elements by double-clicking, but article 'back' never works. The keyboard is completely non-functional in this mode. I'm working on the re-installation of operating system using link, but not sure it will help. I restarted the phone several times, pulled the battery and taken to Bell which is only available to return to BlackBerry to fix.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get this reset?

    coasterboy wrote:

    Set buttons link... Phew!

This will leave here for others who may have the same problem. Using BBLInk to return to your last backup and it should reset the issue of accessibility.

    No, do the above.

I just ran through enabling and disabling it. Pressing the button three times, he died.

Fold a small piece of paper and place it along the top of the battery (at the top, opposite the end with the contacts). See the image below where are the Red arrows.
