Z10 stuck blackBerry security wipe

I just wiped my device security using the BlackBerry link and now my camera is stuck to the next screen

http://i.imgur.com/KzZcxU0.jpg

When I go to BB-Link and try to 'Reload', it asks to press the power button until the device is off. The unit get off but it gets activated immediately and get stuck at the top of the screen.

The BB-link said it is impossible to connect to the device and therefore cannot continue.

Can anyone help?

PS:

This device is provided to me by my company and is not a personal device.

It is not finished wiping. The security wipe can take a few hours and up to 10-12 hours depending on the CASE, to data encryption enabled and the amount of data you had on the device.

    Hello

I had to wipe my Z10 new security problems with getting BBM installation. Now it starts with the screen that tells you to connect to a pc via USB. (Photo of the phone, USB and computer)

I installed Backberry link even if he do recognize the phone and the boot image does not disappear. I tried 3 different computers and the start screen will not go away! Windows tries to install the drivers and then fails with a RED cross.

I would erase it again if I could get into a menu. Right now, I have a very expensive phone I can't use! Another way to factory reset other than through the menu maybe?

    Help, please...

  • Z30 blackBerry security wipe icon taped Z30

I saved my data link BB to reset the factory settings on it. After you click reset link BB asked me to remove the phone from the computer. And wipe security with a blue icon turning light in a black circle stuck between an hour.

I just want to know if is it normal or not? and how long will it take?

    Thank you

I did not a security wipe in ages, so I don't know what the icon looks like these days. I would say that a security wipe can take hours to complete if there is much data on your phone.

You might be best to leave all night to see if he is ready to leave in the morning (unless someone else can confirm that the frozen icon is not a good thing and other measures should be taken).

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Help Z10: Security Wipe - > KB33480-> no factory setting

    Hey everybody,

I recently changed my Blackberry on the Z10 account, and I proceeded to do a security wipe. After that, the connection to the computer icon was displayed on the phone. So, I looked on the internet for a solution and kept the same finding: KB33480.

So, I went with the steps, starting with the Blackberry link approach. Having said I reset the phone, he would have check for updates and tell me that:
"There is no available BlackBerry Device Software updates."

Here, the light of my phone is green.

After I closed that, the Green led turns off, the red light quickly, then the unit starts. Logo of blackBerry on the connection to the screen of the computer again.

I can't get this or workaround to work. I'm missing on the process described in step 6 of the workaround:

"The smartphone BlackBerry 10 will now be off itself after 120 seconds. Shortly after the 120 seconds, the BlackBerry smartphone LED should turn green. Continue to wait after the LED lights in green, and you will be asked to install BlackBerry Device Software. Follow the prompts to install the BlackBerry software and once the installation is complete the smartphone leader and is now recovered. »

The update password verification of updates, then goes straight to the no updates found screen instead of installing the software on the phone. Can someone help me please?

Hey everybody. I got my Z10 work after 11 grueling hours trying to fix it. The key to implementation is to make sure that you have installed INTERNET EXPLORER 9 . Other iterations are not guaranteed, and they never worked for me once. I found a computer in my home that I was able to install IE9 on cleanly, then ran workaround. He worked at the beautfully. I'm now enjoying my Z10 a lot.

    See you soon.

  • Classic classic security wipe Blackberry blackBerry taking ages to get stuck at 98%

    Hi guys,.

buy a classic blackberry from a friend and before they turned him over to the wire, they decided to start a security wipe and I had the phone when he was 72% (flashes on the screen when you touch the screen for a few seconds). Anyway, it took forever and I went online to read some forums and there some people waited another 5 to 6 hours. It was at about 15:00 in the afternoon. so I let him do his thing, and from 21:00 he had barely reached 87%. left there from one day to the next, but forgot to plug in for free, so the morning just after it reached 95% battery is dead. When I plugged it in to charge, he did it again, and after about 26 hours he did 98% (goes really fast to 72% and then took forever to get to 98%). got stuck on 98% for 5 hours... I know I porbably should have let it continue and maybe he would have done, but I held the power button , the screen displays 'classic blackberry' and the security wipe started again from scratch! its now been about 2 hours and its 78% (once again - it became very slow when it reached 72%)

the classic has not the possibility of a battery pull, (since that's what some people have done according to the other forums) - so that s out of the question.

is there anything else I can do? any help would be appreciated. the battery of my current phone is messed up and just takes 2 or 3 hours. If you really need to start to use the classic...

    Thank you

If you had not looked http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?ArticleNumber=000034045 then do and try again, following the instructions step by step.

There are people having problems with the link on their systems. The procedure described above should work. If it isn't, then the problem might be with link.

I saw cases where devices that seem by also Freemasons are recovered with Autoloaders. I'm trusting the words of others. I have no reason to doubt that an autoloader will work for you.

  • BlackBerry Z10 security wipe and downloaded applications

I know that if I do a security wipe, you erase all downloaded apps, but that those I paid a small fee for (for example, euro 1-2), I have to pay again?

If you connect (setup) your Z10 using the same BlackBerryID you access again without having to pay for the same applications.

  • BlackBerry Z10 z10 usb keeps diconnecting after faulty security wipe

    Hello

I just tried a security wipe and got the icon "connect the phone to the computer" when starting. In fact, the phone is blocked here. My phone usb cable everything worked fine earlier today, but now it just keeps disconnecting after 1 or 2 seconds. I have already installed the BB link and it does not recognize my phone but I can't reload, because it keeps disconnecting. Any suggestions on what I should do? Will be a great help, thank you.

Here is the official solution for a deletion of security failed:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB33480

If you do not link to recognize the device then I would try to load the operating system manually:

Download the correct autoloader for your device from the first post in the thread below. You need to know your complete model number (e.g. STL100-1 (or - 2,-3, - 4) located in settings > on.) Be sure to download your model which contains the radio file.

    10.2.1.1925 OS: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-leaked-beta-os-f395/lengend-presents-10-2-1-1925-all-q-z-887047/

Close the link and leave the connected device.

You will need to unzip the file downloaded from above before you can run.  If you do not have a decompression application on your computer, you can download 7Zip here: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Double-click the automatic charger that you downloaded.

The process should take about 5 minutes or more. When it's done, you will need complete the startup process before you can connect to Link, and restore the data.

When you are finished, you can restore your backup, although I do NOT recommend restore your backup of the settings that it is best to start with this new OS, but it is up to you. You may experience some bugs here and there to restore the passage of the backup settings. Media and Application data seem to be OK to restore.

  • Z10 blackBerry, I'm on my 3rd day of the security wipe... now what that?

    Hello

I'm on my 3rd day of my secuirty wipe. The impasse to 98%. I he let it continue? Ive heard even if I restart it ill just wipe all over again. Help, please.

    Thank you

You can try to remove the battery.

There is a risk to the interruption of the security wipe. I don't want to imply that nothing bad will happen. Seems the worst is happening is to have to reload the OS, but I don't know if this is really the worst thing that can happen or not.

  • BlackBerry Q10 Q10 security wipe 15 + hours

After downloading the latest OS update two weeks ago (too much air) my phone went to work almost perfectly, to have battery and severe lag problems drain (as in 3 hours that the battery would drain complete with NO use - even though I disabled all the radios and wifi).  The only used/installed apps on the phone are those who came with him - I use the hub for E-mail (gmail), phone calls, visual voicemail, and texts.  I regularly use the device and I use the calculator and the browser from time to time.  I use the Facebook app to check notifications.  95% of the use of my phone is entirely for phone calls, e-mails and texts.  I have a MicroSD card in my photos and videos saved in real memory of my phone and was less than half full.

In order to alleviate the problems of lag and battery drain, I read about do a security wipe and reinstall the previous operating system directly.  I backed up my phone and started with the wipe of security more than 15 hours and it is always showing the icon (which looks like an SD card or a memory chip icon perhaps?) with a circle of rotation under it to make believe it works.

I am concerned about how long it takes and how hot my phone feels to the touch (that and the fact that I have a working phone for the last 15 hours with no end in sight.)  With how I used my phone, I'm surprised it took this long.  I read about the risks of doing a wipe of Mid-security battery traction, but this does not seem normal. Pourrait my phone stuck in security due to a glitch erase mode?   Any advice?

    Thank you in advance!

Try to reload the operating system with an auto-loader.

  • BlackBerry Z30 sim not detected after security wipe

    Hello

My unlocked Z30 BB does not detect the sim card after security wipe. I did hard and soft reset, but the problem still persists. Today I took it to the service center and the guy told me that the sim connector pin is defective. How could he say that without inspection? To my surprise, he also informed that I need to replace the motherboard. Can someone please give an overview on:

++ If these questions have been seen on Z30 (I've seen for Z10) where security wipe cause the SIM to go unnoticed?

++ If security wipe and connector are correlated?

++ The worst case if the sim card connector is broken, fill out the motherboard needs to be replaced? (I know its 80% of the cost)

++ Is there anyway I can defend higher up in the service center

    Troubleshooting:

    > same sim works in any other mobile phone

    > no sim card works in Z30

    > The used micro sim card is the standard sim and not cut manually.

    > Reset multiple hard / soft / volume up and down reset button did the test (equivalent to removing the battery).

I am based in India, in Bangalore, and the unit is under warranty (only 4 months). Name of the service center is Redington India, Cunningham road, bangalore.

Any pointer is appreciated. Thanks for your help!

    Kind regards

    Imran

A wipe destroy a physical component such as a SIM Slot

    It's just a coincedence

Location SIM can be bought online, but you need to know how to solder.

I see some listed on ebay for $4 USD

  • BlackBerry Smartphones do a security wipe and now cannot set up my email!

    Hello

I did a security wipe on my Blackberry Bold 9900. I managed to restore everything, however I can't seem to configure my email address (which is a Yahoo address). I get the error message that it has not been possible to connect to the server.

I also raise a problem with my BBM, I am able to send messages, but can't send any to me. This problem also comes after clearing security.

Everything worked fine prior to clearing security.

    Concerning

    Imran

Hello and welcome to the community!

After an update, I still propose that the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you must seek formal support from your mobile service provider.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphone security wipe with any BIS - bbm

Hi guys, I've changed my blackberry for an iphone, so I cancelled my BIS and changed my tarrif plan towards an iphone one. I removed the SIM card, so the phone says insert sim card and SOS signal. I then went through and deleted my bbm contacts after it made a complete security wipe, and I came back to the blackberry. It went well and everything was clear.

But a couple of my friends said im still on BBM out there but when contact lists they me message that they get an 'X' red beside the message were it should be a D or R. I was wondering how I'm still on lists here if I deleted all the and safety wiped? Is it because I did it when there was no ENCORE for the blackberry could not send data on the servers of remove me contacts? If so what will happen when the next person gets my phone and BIS it will automatically synchronize what I did and remove me from my friends BBM?

    Help, please

    Thank you

Right, red x means that the message has not been sent because the contact does not exist. If she sent the message, the friend would simply see a message sent without D or R beside the message. If the messages have been received by the other device, it would show a D as delivered, but of course the message is not delivered to your old BlackBerry.

  • BlackBerry smartphone security wipe Blackberry Playbook

I had to change my service provider on my Playbook and by doing a search on the Blackberry site instructions should I do a security wipe. What he didn't tell me, was it clears everything. • BlackBerry smartphone security wipe on bb curve 8520

Hello everyone, I had a question about the erasure of BlackBerry security.

I wonder if during the erasure of security ('emails, conctats etc.' and 'user installed applications' checkboxes checked) my sms messages will be deleted...

I have to take my camera to a friend, do you find security secure erase?

Yes, security wipe is the sure way to rid your system of all it's data. Do not remove the installed user applications as the wipe will erase the data in applications, but not applications. However, you can delete the user installed applications if you wish.
