  I am a new owner. I transferred photos on data card and selected for the office, however all the few days the phone comes back from the desktop into one of the pre-installed versions.

  I turned on the phone this AM and when a contract called me, it rang with a different ringtone. I looked at the telephone contacts and each of them that I put for a custom ring was CHANGED to a random mp3 in my music library. My default ring is set to 'UNKNOWN '.

  What happens here? -I have NEVER had a phone that continues to lose its ring settings.

  Anyone see this and if so, a work/fix? -My phone is not rooted and has never been. I have only 10 apps on this phone and none of them have nothing to do with ringtones or audio.

  This is a bug in 2.3.5 which causes this to happen. If a disc with custom ringtones is disconnected from the system and then reassembled, the phone affects randomly ringtones from audio files on the card.

  There is no known "fix" at the moment, so if you can help it do not connect the phone to the PC via USB or remove the microSD card.

  Here's the deal... My mother and I have iPhone 6 and 6 s phones.  In the last three months his phone will play at random intervals, the ringing OF THE SEASIDE for no. REASON AT ALL.  I have been through ALL its phones settings: alarms, notifications, third party apps, reminders, clocks and calendars and is unable to locate the source of this inconvenience!

  I tried to reset the phone, erasing all its contents and the restaurant sauvegardΘ only that it happen.  I called the Apple support, and that has not worked either they had me use the reset the network settings on the phone.  At first, I thought that was a sort of robocall from a telemarketer or a crook.  They we usually get from fraudulent calls ILA so it looks they want somewhere she States when they could call China, or who knows where.

  But generally when this happens there is a message that appears on the screen which shows the phone number and where they claim to (false or not.)  But is happening at all.  The phone plays just that stupid song at random intervals for no reason at all.  I also check and find that it is not selected as one of his ringtones for incoming calls or text messages.  So if someone has any ideas

  Your mother may have selected this ring as the notification sound for incoming emails of some shippers.

  For example, go to: settings > Notifications > mail > VIP > sounds > check if this ring has been selected.

  Check also under settings > Notifications > mail > iCloud.

• Computer is "close the program" sound randomly by itself

  HP with Vista: an e-mail account recently got hi-jacked and sent spam, disguised as me. Add Microsoft Security and changed passwords so that never stopped. Microsoft Security scan said all good but I get the "close program" ringtone randomly when nothing happens - as it does automatically by itself.

  Then scanned with Malwarebytes and says nothing found. Random bings continue well--especially at the start.

• BlackBerry Z10 ringtones

  Hi, since I have updated the software to 10.2.1.537 my ringtone will not work.  When I go in to Notifications, requests and it says the phone ringing, I chose (Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive), but when my phone rings its some random generic ringtone.  It gives me the ability to customize individual contacts, but I want it sounds with this ringtone for all calls!  Any suggestions welcome please :-)

  I should have been more specific.  My chosen ringtone would not work, but I fixed it! Yay! With a flash of inspiration, I have re-uploaded my ringtone to my phone and then set it as my ringtone.  Fingers crossed it seems to work! But thank you for answering :-) FB

  Out of the blue, my BB Tour 9630 went silent. I tried to change the ringtones - can still taste their! Miss calls and messages because of this. Any fix for that? Or should I try and get a replacement. I had the phone for about a year.

  Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

• BlackBerry smartphones cannot remove rogue ringtone

  A friend sent me an MP3 (small) which is a recording of a telephone message someone developed.  I played it (funny).  Somehow, it has itself stored as a ringtone... and he plays itself at random times.  I tried to remove it, but the 9530 said always the ring is 'used' and will not remove.  How can I fix it?

  Never mind... found a solution on my own.  Don't know why, but after a battery pull I managed to delete it...

  I recently updated my iPhone iOS 10 and then again 10.0.2 6Plus - but I encounter the same problem.

  The ringtones that I attributed to specific contacts do not play, the phone only plays the default ringtone. All ringtones work when I press them, and if I put these default ringtones they also work.

  I did have this problem before the update to ios 10.

  I just bought a new 7plus of iPhone and have the same problem. I tried to install it as a new phone and also restore the backup and reset all settings, but have the same problem.

• Make a ringtone on new iTunes - Help!

  I'm doing a song I recently bought into a ringtone for my iPhone 6 s, and each unique tutorial directs turn you into an AAC file, but with the new iTunes, when you right click on the song there no option to turn it into an AAC file. In fact, when I checked the file type of the song, its listed as a "purchased AAC audio file", then, what do you do for a song is already an AAC? Also, I chose a section of the song, which is less than thirty seconds, he saved and still even if he doesn't play that this article, still lists the song duration as full 6 min, not the new article 28 sec, so I even when I duplicate and turn it into a .m4r and do all the other steps , it will not transfer because it is too long.

  I do not use the new iTunes so I can't test anything.  You've always been able to convert AAC AAC; for example, when wanting a lower bitrate copy.

• Random freezing 10.0.2 IOS iPhone 7

  I got the new iPhone 7 the day that it was released.  In all versions of iOS 10, including the 10.0.2 update, I feel the gel with the phone, the contacts and message apps screen.  Whenever this happens, I close the app and have to restart.  When I do, it takes a few seconds to restart the application.  Then, the application seems to work.  It's very frustrating.  I've been loyal to Apple since 1990.  I've never owned a computer PC or Android.  I wish that apple would address ANY issues with their software before updating instead of just picking a question (e.g. lightning connector not woking properly with the Atria).  I'm not going to do a factory reset.  I'm not going to reset my network settings.  It is also a pain.  Also, randomly, in emails coming through the mail application, the text is so small, I can barely read.  When this happens, I have to restart my phone just so that I can read my emails.  Problems of that kind unfortunately happen almost every launch of a new iOS system.  Fortunately, I never experienced any of the problems so far.  Now that I am, I understand the frustration that people have talked about over the years.  Come on, Apple.  Take care of your customers and loyal customers.  I'm not giving up on you again.

  Sorry, you have problems.  However, we are here, users like you.  No Apple.  Imploring Apple to what whether or to reprimand, really has nothing, but make you look silly.

  I will have absolutely no problem with the 10.0.2 update, nor anyone in my family or my office.  While YOU may have a problem, its quite an irrational leap, you are assuming that it is a widespread problem.  If it was, you can be sure that it would be on the new night.

  Regarding the problems YOU are having, have what troubleshooting steps you taken?  Have you taken the steps recommended by Apple (reboot, reset, restore from backup, restore as a new device)?  If you have gone through all the steps, including restoring the phone like new and the phone continues to act up, without 3rd party applications installed, then you probably have a hardware problem.  Turn the phone to Apple for review.  If there is a hardware problem, your phone will be replaced.

• iTunes will not random on my iPhone6S after updating IOS

  My iTunes will not BE NOT random at all after I did this 10.0.2 software update!  I mean, if I hit random play on one of my playlists, does not choose a song randomly on the reading list and literally play it over and over and over again.  Basically, it does the OPPOSITE of brewing.  It is a major problem and my phone and my iTunes worked very well before this update! Suggestions?   Please?   Or, is the way to Apple, this to trick me into buying a whole new phone?
