  Hi all

  Does anyone know how can we increase the number of processor on a VM XP.

  I have a requirement that needs a powerful XP machine which should be able to use the maximum of the underlying hardware resources available.

  The problem in the virtual machine environment, it's that we cannot use the carrots that we can in physical machine. This limitation of a workstation image is set to 2 CPU.

  I would like to know if anyone has tried this kind of setting for a 64-bit XP virtual machine image.

  I put t know what programs you use and if it is good or not if this info can be good and perhaps not. I put t know. The fact is that you n t have one any influence on the functionality of memory and I doubt that you can do something and change some values.

  Exact specification for laptop laptop does not for me but I think that Satellite L300 must have Intel GM45 chipset and I presume that for your motherboard FSB is 667 MHz. You can improve up to 8 GB and compatible 4 GB RAM module has PA3670U-1M4G part number.

  Upgrade CPU on Satellite L300? I put t know man. A friend of mine has this model of laptop and I don t know if it's the right decision to spend money to upgrade this old model of laptop budget.

  I am interested by the Satellite P300-23F because of its nice, these two drives huge CPU and - finally and above all - good price. But I can't estimate exactly its graphics performance, because I could not find information about the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 used in this book's exact clock speeds.
  Did someone already has a P300-23F? If you do, could you please read the core and the memory clocks the GPU with a tool such as the CCC or GPU - Z? Perhaps you have also information about the temperatures of the CPU and HARD drive and also on the performance of the HARD drive?

  To be honest I m P300 owner but not the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 is known as M96 ATI with DDR3 (1 GB) of graphics ram.
  I think that it s is not easy to say some details about the exact chip GPU clock speed because it of always different. It depends on the use of the laptop and the temperature.
  You must know that the performance of the GPU are controlled by the graphics driver and if the temperature increases to a critical level, that the pilot might slow down the chip so decreases the heat dissipation.

  The temperature of the processor and HARD drive depends on the use of the laptop too.
  If you run games high performance, then the temperature increases to a higher level and would be higher than the execution of only a few common tools such as MS Office Word for example.

  However maybe someone could put some values and details, it would be really interesting.

  You are absolutely right with your assumptions.  The speed of adjustment is limited due to other factors, including the accuracy of the configured frequency.  Therefore, a limitation of the actual hardware, even with driver updates, this feature would not be possible.  I want to point you at the suggestion of product section where you can enter any suggestions for new features, as it is something that our new RF hardware will be able to support.

  You must test in LV12, in previous versions, remove that table is a dog, even when the end of the table is deleted.  I did a simple test, create a table of random numbers 50000 and take the average of the consecutive blocks of 400 items by using the two methods.  I even added a reverse table of subset test to match the behavior of deleting the table.

  Results:

  Delete: 2.7 msec

  Subset: usec 200

  your mileage may vary.

  In other words, it must be controlled by the motherboard. Points to check are all the ventilation grids which allow the air make sure they are free of lint, pet hair, dust, etc. If there are panels that can be removed (as for the HDD or RAM upgrades), delete and wipe any dust, etc, from there. With the panels off, get a can of air spray to Wallyworld, Staples, etc. and blow through the orifices of evacuation to the inside. That should dislodge from the heat sink.
  After a thorough cleaning, the outgoing air should be slightly cooler. Keep in mind that the more stressed the CPU and GPU are, more air is exhausted. If you think there might be a problem, there are a number of utilities that will control the fan speed and the different system temperatures:

  CoreTemp http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
  Http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php fan speed (also allows the fan control)

  If you used to use the laptop on your lap, you can think about getting one of the aprons to put on; very often, during its use on the knees, some of the Airways under may be blocked by your pants, causing overheating. I had a Logitech, which has a sliding mouse (I can't stand the touchpad), and it has helped tremendously with my gateway heat problem.

• Can I increase the playback speed (ala VLC) while listening to MP3s on video?

  Most of my audio files on my clip are NOT music. Most of my audio files are audio 'spoken word '. Here are the files audio of people talking to each other, or giving speeches, or read a book. I would like to be able to increase the speed of the audio, while keeping a normal height (not "chipmunk" voice).

  VLC does it well. I can increase the speed of playback of an audio file (or even a movie file), and VLC does his magic to keep all the sounds in regular field. (I'm mentioning VLC just to inform you of something I consider as a solution).

  My preference is that I would be able to control the speed of playback of the clip. ... In order to go to 2 X speed for a portion of the audio, then 1.50 X for another part. (I am stating this preference from the beginning, just in case someone proposed a solution of "desktop computer". A "computer desktop" solution is fine, but change-speed capability of reading on-the-fly on the Clip would be better.)

  Just to let you know, these audio files of my friends are mostly regular MP3 files. Some are M4B (audiobook). Some are files 'podcast-kind. " But most are simple MP3s.

  How can I do this?

  I was able to increase the speed of reading without any voice of chipmunk.

  I activated TIMESTRETCH, that allows to change playback speed wihtout affecting the field of recording.
