Z800 P5 (front) connector pinout needed

Hello

Anyone happen to know the pinout of the P5 connector on the motherboard? Is the one who has the power button, HDD LED etc. and it is the only one not vented in the maintenance manual.

I do a bit of a project long term to fit a card mother z800 in a case HPTX and this information is crucial. Have owners here traced the sons of this connector in the front?

All the information are welcome.

Kind regards

-Andy

Well it turns out that the pinout for P5 on the Z800 seems to be the same as on some of the earlier advice. The pinout documented in this post on the forum works for me, at least for the switch/power LED LED/HDD:

http://h30499.www3.HP.com/T5/workstations-z-series-XW-series/Z800-mystery-PC-speaker-connector/TD-p/6026029

I actually now had all of the operational Board in a case of HPTX form using a standard power supply standard and HSF on the Xeon factor. I intend to make a full report soon on my website for the benefit of anyone else who wants to play with this powerful card.

  • HP Z620: Front panel connector pinout

Kindly help me on what is the pinout of front panel to motherboard HP Z60 connectors? Nothing is indicated on the map.

Here is the motherboard front pinouts.  This is a view of the motherboard.  PIN 6 is the key, a missing brooch, which helps determine the orientation of the connector.

The Z420, Z620, Z820 and all have the same front panel connector pinout.

-Terminals 2 and 4 are for the power light.  HP systems have back to back LED connected between these pins.  A white LED lights up in red and a normal functioning (and flashes error codes) when there are errors.

-Connect a switch momentary between pins 7 and 8 will turn on the computer and off.

-The sensor pins are for a thermal sensor in cable from the front panel.  If it's sensor is not installed, the system fans will probably ramp at full speed and very noisy.

-Speaker Out is the internal speaker.

I try to connect the connections for the front panel ATX standard for my motherboard M81, which I'm having trouble with, reason for the connector of the Panel before Lenovo comes to be a big connector.

  • Addition of the 1394 front connector

I'm a new 700-327c bought at Costco who I am really enjoy to make photos and videos.

I just added a PCIe IEE-1394 card and it works well.

I would now like to bring you a cable that runs from the 1394 on the map header (same header and pinout as it is on my card mother Lodge) to the front panel.  I disassempled the front panel and see that existing cover plate has been cut properly formed for six pin connector female firewire.  Behind the plate is a U shaped of platic box that contains snap-in connectors and there are currently four USB Sockets populated by two USB cables to the motherboard.

I'm looking for is the right cable which is the equivalent of these USB cables, but is for firewire (ieee-1394 has).  Parts-surfer gives me hundreds of options, but no pictures so I'm not sure of what could be the right option.

As the desire has no firewire on the motherbard I assume that cable for a pavilion would be fair, assuming that the front of the Pavilion uses the same design, something I have yet to check dissassempled.

Also, I am not sure of the BOM on this side, so I can surf for the bad parts.

Any suggestions or some guideance is accepted with gratitude.  In the meantime, I have the cable between the rear panel to use.  It's just a matter that makes nice and professional looking.

Thanks in advance for your kind attention.

Here's a montage before firewire 800 with inner cable.

    Hello

I tried to find all the manuals but unfortunately without success. If you search for the connector on the motherboard where you can plug the display cable, it should be placed somewhere in the middle. When the keyboard is removed check connector in the upper mid position (tails).

Sorry, but I wasn't able to find any nice document with screenshot. In any case I hope that you will be able to find the right connector.

  • Development of custom connector - help needed

    Hi all

I'm working on the development of custom connector where I set up users in to a flatfile. I m able to create users in flatfile by assigning the target resource.

Now, I need to update the users that are configured in the flat file. I tried to update a user, its data get updated on the resource card but not on the target file. I checked in the process definition for other resources, for each attribute form like firstname, lastname etc... It is a separate task.

    example of

    for name-> name updated

I created a process task (no update phone) to a single attribute (phone number), but the task of process is not triggered.

    Please provide your guidelines

    Thanks in advance

    Kind regards
    Madhu

    Hi Madhu,

you have added 'Phone No day' task in the definition of process, I guess this process form field label is "Phone" = no

Then, if you update this attribute in form value of process 'day of No phone' task should be triggered.

    Thank you

  • Pin assignment connector D - SUB 15 pin on CompactDAQ chassis

    Hi all

I want to use a 9172 CompactDAQ with a Tablet for the measurement of flight with a glider plane, where several ADXL335 disk accelerations are recorded. They need a 5V supply, which should be available from the connector 15-pin D - SUB from the backplane NI 9172. Where can I find the pin assignment?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jan

    Hello Jan,

If you want to use the connector D - SUB of your cDAQ/cRIO, then you will find official information in the "CompactRIO Module Development Kit":

    NEITHER cRIO-9951 - National Instruments
    http://sine.NI.com/NIPs/CDs/view/p/lang/de/NID/14548

I found a few informal and information unconfirmed which I cite, and maybe already helps you:

[...] PIN 4 is 5V and 14 pins is GND. However, be aware that there is a danger accidentally
damage the bottom of basket in this approach, so we cannot guarantee this type of use.

If you just need to join the + 5V and gnd lines, a safer option is to use a module NI 9411
who uses a regulator by an external power supply to 5V on the front connector.

    Best regards

  • What allows before USB2 connector on M57 (6075-AFU)

    Hello

I recently got a hand on a rear USB support in series with two connectors usb on this subject. The M57 dekstop (6075-AFU) I have has a Front USB1 and USB2 Front connector on the motherboard. Obviously, the Front USB1 connector is used by the front USB ports.

I want to use front USB2 connector with rear USB support that I had. The pinout is correct, but in the BIOS, you only have the option to activate USB1 ports through 8; no option for 9 and 10.

Is there some rider or another way to allow front USB2 connector on this PC? Help, please!

  • EqualLogic PS series console RJ45 cable pinout

    Hello world

I have an Equallogic storage array to use for the test which I believe is a ps100e, with two controllers blue sata ports having back series RJ45. Nothing I've used so far has had any kind of traffic from them, then someone can help me with a pinout of the console cable that was included with the devices? (I got was the machine itself). I saw a few summaries puts online buy them, but I'm a bit of a hurry and don't have much of a budget, so I was hoping to do so they are considered non-standard.

    Thank you!

Here is the pinout settings and baud.   Make sure that this flowcontrol is disabled on the serial port.

We find this info on the site Web of Equallogic.

    The title of the solution

Cable to the serial Console, identifying Type I, II controllers, the RJ-45 connector pinout

    Details of the solution

    Type 1:

FRU PN IS 95-0444. Cable 'dongle' will have a white label with 51-0003-02 marked top. It is 10 inches long, black, with DB - 9 (M) money and a micro DB-9 at the other end.

You can order the dongle as a Molex 83421-9052 reference number to search on google. You will also need to a modem cable Null to go with it, if you don't have one, easy to find, even the most Radio Shack has them.

    Type 2:

FRU PN 95-0517. Cable will have a white label with 51-0008 marked top. It is 10 feet long, black with the RJ-45 at the other end and a DB-9 (F)

Here is the pinout of the connector RJ-45 series of EqualLogic Type-2 (SATA 2 command Module):

    1 - DTR (out)

    2 - CTS (en)

    3 - chassis Gnd

    4 - RxD (in)

    5 - TxD (out)

    6 Sig Gnd

    7 - RTS (out)

    8 - DSR (en)

In the current firmware versions we do not deliberately set, or answer, the control signals (DTR, CTS, DSR, RTS), then you must either configure the device you connect so that it ignores them, or provide telesignalisations the according to the needs.

The series settings are: 9600 baud, 8 bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, no flow control.
