Zoom in on a video

Is it possible to "zoom in" on a video (a video clip Apple), if so, how?

I am using CS6 but will invest first if necessary.

On the effect tab, you will see "Motion". This topic is "scale". You can keyframe any kind of 'zoom' by the scale. You may need to use Position controls as well. Make sure that your clip to which you want to apply these effects is first highlighted.

  • When I click on display and zoom it zooms in on the text. How do you zoom in on a video like you do with Internet Explorer?

Example: I want to watch a video on startrek.com. You could do it either in fullscreen / but my preference is for Zoom. With Internet Explorer, you can go down to the right lower part of the screen and click on it to go from 100% to 125. On firefox to display the zoom it's just more text. The video Viewer is the same.

    Thank you.

Check view > Zoom and see if 'Zoom text only' has a check mark next to it. If so, click it.

Try keyframing scale under the Motion.

  • Pan and zoom to create the video effect

This question has been posted in response to the following article: http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/premiereelements/using/WSeffff8bffc802084-494411db12fd35452dd-8000.html

For pans and Zooms with PiP (Picture in Picture), do not use Pan & Zoom. It has other functions and also limits.

Use rather fixed effects > Motion > scale (Zoom) and the movement > Position (Pan) and the keyframe of their attributes.

    Good luck

  • Videos being grown on all sides

    Hello world

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit with a graphics HD7950 Radeon HIS Itceq card.  I'm having a problem when trying to watch videos. For some reason, videos, I try to watch on YouTube and in Windows Media Player (or Windows Media Center) are to be cropped around the edges. I can get around the question WMP using VLC, because that will show the full video, but I can't find a solution for online videos. At first, I thought, it may be a codec problem, but even their or install new update did not help.

I linked 3 screenshots of the same video: that of VLC showing how it is supposed to look, that of WMP and other YouTube.

I would appreciate any idea, everybody has to offer on this.

Unfortunately, these measures did not help. I ended up doing a new installation of Windows, and everything works now. Thanks for the help! I appreciate it!

So after the new installation of Windows and going through all of my installation, I finally found what was causing the problem. AMD Catalyst software has a feature called AMD Steady Video. One of the parameters video streaming is Zoom, which contributes to fragile edges by zooming in on the video.

I don't even think to check there because it was not affecting VLC, but after having on and outside, is the root of the distress.

  • Black box around video (BEFORE SHIPPING)

When I import my video from my computer in first pro, it is a big black box around it. I know that I can just UN-click on the button of uniform motion to zoom in on the video, but that reduces the quality. Is there a way to remove the black box around my video with out affecting the quality of the video?

[Ask in the correct forum allows... Left generic Cloud/Setup forum for forum specific program... MOD]

You probably have different resolution videos.

Intensify or make a sequence that matches the one who has the box.

  • Effects of movement lack of video effects

Hi, I'm doing a zoom transition in my video and I can't find the effects of movement in the menu effects.  I am looking at the title of video and overlay effects and noise and grain are there, but no movement.  I also tried to look for the movement and for the scale and not find them.  2015 first started elsewhere?  Thank you.

The effects of movement are "fixed effects" that are always available

for each video clip after it is placed in a timeline.

-Select an item in the timeline panel

    -Show the effect controls panel

As far as I remember, it has always been the Motion application process / scale.

  • First elements vs Pro for Pan and Zoom Photo Slide Shows

I'm a professional architectural photographer. I need to create videos using a series of photos, and I need the ability to pan and zoom to specific parts of each photo.  I need to be able to tell the software where to pan and to and where to zoom in or out.  For example, I could start on the left side of a picture, pan to the left side of the photo, then stop panning and zooming.  I need to control the speed of the pan and zoom and control where they occur within each photo.  I won't be dealing with video, only still photos.

I saw a video showing this capability in Premier Pro.  It can also be done in first elements?

If please check out Adobe document on this panoramic and Zoom Tool and workspace function

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/Pan-Zoom-create-video-like.html

There is a difference using this tool for video from still images. And, since you mention that you use some photos, I

not entered in the pan and zoom applied to the video with this tool.

Please review and consider. If any questions or need any clarification, do not hesitate to ask.

Before all decisions, good idea to look at the free 30 day trial of first elements of Adobe to purchase 13.

  • Example: HP laptop 15 TS: disable the cursor pointing

Hi all. new here, so I hope I'm in the right place. I'm having no end of trouble with my 6 month old HP 15 TS Notebook PC, running Windows 10, although this happened the 8.1 win also.  This thing "hover cursor" is driving me crazy! How the hell can I disable it? I looked into the area of easy access, and it is unchecked in the little box and was not good from the start. Not sure if this is related, but sometimes simply move the curor did all sorts of weird things. Zoom window Exchange and video screens ranging from full screen to the default size. of course, it sometimes becomes very frustrating. Not a good option at all, in my opinion.  Thanks for your time.  Rick

    Hello @Rick1953,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question on your HP laptop and the mouse works do not correctly with the hover option. Here is a document on how to troubleshoot the mouse and Touchpad sensitivities.

I fixed that by going to the tab in Advanced in the mouse properties, it has more settings.
Advanced SmartSense - settings of interference of the Palm on the touchpad and filters and put them to a minimum.

Hope that solves your problem with the mouse.

  • Shot at 1920 x 1080, but want to compose at 1280 x 720

I voluntarily turned an interview in 1920 x 1080 on my Canon DSL.

I would like to compose the Premiere Pro project at 1280 x 720, so I can zoom and pan the video without the resolution to "lose".

    1. I'm just thinking that this can be done?

    2. suggestions of the steps of installation and import so things don't get re-sampled?

    Thank you.

    Simply drop your 1920 X 1080 in a sequence of 1280 X 720 and change as expected.

  • Pixelated lines when exporting .mov

Sorry that if this is a dumb question (I'm pretty new to Flash animation), but everytime I try to export an animation I did the final .mov seems pixelated and blurry. When I view the Flash animation, it seems clear, but the exported version is just the opposite. My document is 1920 x 1080 and 24 fps and the publication of all settings seem to them. I would really appreciate if someone could help me. Thank you!

I think you can zoom in on the video and think that it will always be vectors. It is bound to look pixelated, if you are > 100% and you will see anti-aliasing on the big screens.

I did a test where I took a screenshot of your MOV, your FLA running in a SWF, then I tried the code quality and grabbed the MOV and SWF for this too. I put them in four layers in Photoshop, and then assign the surface layer of Subtract. If I moved this image on one of the other three, the area became black Uni. In other words, they were all identical.

So, I don't know why you see pixelated. Even on my non - retina 27 inch monitor anti-aliasing is difficult to notice.

Also, what program you are viewing the MOV in?

  • lock audio for editing in Premiere Elements

I'm creating a slideshow with Pan and zoom so that importing video clips.  I created a "Bo" with music imported audio titles 2 and 3 and manually 'mixed' music for the audio clips appear "staggered" on the timeline (that is, a partial song on the track 2), following partial song on track 3, next partial song on track 2, etc.  I manually entered time markers for my planned video changeset (as I did for all my projects NLE software on other platforms).  However, every time I shorten a video clip, all the contents of tracks audio 2 and 3 moves left proportionally.  And of course then my time for the rest of the project markers don't line up.  It's completely maddening.  I can't find a way to "pin" or "lock" the audio tracks in the timeline. It is not even a video accompaniment for these tracks - just music.  Whenever I have shorten a clip to match the beat, 'the most' me and moves all future audio out of sync. And I have to shorten each clip because, for still images, the duration of the clip is defined when the stills are 'imported' to the project.  There must be a way to disable this audio floating.  Any ideas...?  I would be grateful...!

    Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, pre does not lock the tracks, as does PrPro. I asked for this feature for several years and for each new version of pre, because I believe that it is very important and useful.

Usually, I added my Bo as the last thing I do, just before I / the share of exports, so it doesn't bother me that much, but do what you are, or if you're doing a music video, then being able to lock these Audio tracks (I Lock the video tracks in PrPro too often), would be such a useful feature.

We will seek a way to get what I think you want, as a few extra steps could make life a little easier. You have your 'mixed' on two separate Audio tracks Audio Clips. You have edited them, as you wish. I would think any export/share JUST the Audio to 48 kHz 16-bit PCM/WAV format. That effectively blend your two tracks of Audio in a single stereo file. Then you can import the output file in your project, by replacing the two tracks of Audio Clips. In a single file, it won't move, when you change your video. Two things to consider: in the output file, you will probably lose your markers to beat, but can add those back, and when you go to edit the Clips, which are "covered" by the other Clips, some of the change in functions do not work, just as they did when they were not covered, such as delete and close Gap - the gap will not close. It would be even, if you had a video Clip above that you were editing. Still, for most editing functions, which is not a problem, but that will depend on how you edited your Clips at this point. For still images, you can Ripple edit and change up/down time, as needed. If you work with video Clips and have enough additional images (called handles, when dealing with Transitions), you can do the same thing with them. If they don't have adequate management, you may have to mix things up a bit everywhere.

By exporting/sharing the Audio in a single file, you have, in essence, locked this Audio track.

As a side note, some users have met problems with both of the fixed Audio tracks, music, and Narration. The usual "fix" is to use one of the 'regular' free just Audio tracks - just like you have already done. I refrain from using the soundtrack or Narration (though I've never had these problems), because so many others have reported them.

Good luck, and maybe, we will all be lucky, and Adobe will honor some feature to track locking requests.

  • How to remove the effect of movement

Still trying to grip with 4 elements, and I thought that take advantage of the extra resolution on some HD footage that will end up like SD and set up some zoom and pan on video by using keyframes.  For example I would set up two key frames that are a picture apart (& B) where A is full frame and increase the scale on B and set the position (so it cuts to zoom in view).  I would then set up another pair of keyframes 10 seconds later (C - D) with the C with the same magnitude than B, but in a different position in the frame.  First adjusts the positions of middle managers between B & C linearly so he pans, then to D I restores the position and scale of the full view framework.

I had a lot of fun with that until I had a hard time, and I'm really struggling to eliminate the effects.  Remove keyframes does not seem to work, or not creating keyframes with identical settings on part of the section.  I must also admit that I saw a trail drawn on the screen in the offending section and tried to compensate by dragging (big mistake), so now I have a weird pot in the middle of everything that for awhile, was funny, but now...

Help, the forums and google didn't find anything either, and I don't know how to set each image individually is not the answer, so guidance would be welcome.

    Thank you

    Andrew

    Andrew,

In the pre 4, there is an "eyeball" next to the Motion. That switches the Effect ON and OFF. That should clear things up.

It is a task where I really like PrPro better, in which he has a miniTimeline with all the effects shown (maybe scroll), so that you can align keyframes perfectly to effect, as in AfterEffects. Now, maybe that this was added to the pre 8?

    Good luck
