ZOTAC GeForce GTX 750 Ti / Gigabyte Nvidia GT 710 sufficient for accelerating GPU in CC 2015?

Hi all

I have Photoshop 2015 and filter oil painting is grayed out. So, I want to update my graphics card. Please help me

System Specs:

Gigabyte GA 78LMT S2PV

AMD FX 6100

Hyper X 8 GB RAM

GeForce 210 (OpenCl version is 1.0) (I need 1.1 or higher if they exsist)

WD 1 TB purple

Thermaltake TR2 500W PSU S

PCI-E - 2

If you want to suggest any other graphics card with limited budget, then it will be toasty come :)

Photoshop and illustrator are less demanding than the first, so your cpu should be ok for them. If you get a video card only for photoshop and illustrator, you can watch the r7 amd 360 for about $90. If you want to spend more on rx 470 4 GB, it would be a good card for the money.

CUDA is exclusively for nvidia only cards. Some software requires cuda/nvidia to work. If you use other software or plugins in addition to the adobe software, which uses the video card, you will need to get its system requirements and to see what video cards they list.

    Hi all

Upgrade to a HD 5870 I hope - I just wanted to know if GTX 750 it with its CUDA technologies would be sufficient for GPU accelerated applications like Lr, Sg, Pr, Ps, Ae and so on? Ask in the forums Pr because it is the application, I use the most.

    System Specs:

    ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3

    Core i5 2500K @ 4.3 GHz

    Arctic Cooling Freezer 13

    16 GB RipJaws - X 1648 MHz

LG BH16NS40 Blu - Ray burner

    OCZ ZS 650W

    Windows 8.1 Pro x 64

Not too bothered about gaming performance. I don't want to spend a lot of money and the Ti 750 to about £100 seems a good balance between the value / price and performance.

The 5870 worked very well with OpenCL and Adobe CC 2014 but for various reasons, I want to update and go back to NVIDIA.

    Thank you all

This GPU would certainly be enough for your system, but I also would replace the Green disks with 7200 rpm disks and perhaps increase the RAM.

Hi I have a Dell Studio XPS 8000. Information on the system it's an Intel i7 CPU 860-2.8 GHz 2.79 GHz and 6 GB of RAM. operating system 64-bit, x 64 based processor.

I would like to know if I could adapt an Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics (2 GB, GDDR5, PCI-Express 3.0) without any problem? Or is there a better option?

The current map graphic is a GeForce GTS 240, that it came with.

I searched the internet to find out that if that would be ok, but became confused if the power supply is sufficient, the appearance of it bed 350w max power. I can't find some people say no and Yes.

    My computer knowledge is Basic.

    Thanks for any help.

You're better than replace the power supply Dell with a retail food more high wattage. Then the video card will be fine. Read your Manual for instructions.

  • HP Pavilion Elite HPE-140f: can I upgrade my NIVIDIA GeForce GT 230 NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 (or 750Ti)?

I would like to upgrade my video/graphic on my HP Pavilion AY602AA-ABA HPE-140f.   The vehicle currently has the NIVIDIA GeForce GT 230 and I would go with 750Ti NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 or GTX.   Would one of these work with my system?

I have not yet opened the file, but the system is supossedly a mother MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E) with Intel Core i5 650, 8 GB of RAM (I've read the product specifications that some say dual and some say quad... not sure exactly how this works).   I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.   It is 350 Watts.   The hard drive was a 1 to SATA but is shot and must be replaced [it is a different matter].

I plan on adding a blue-ray disc player and use it for some games.   A recommendation for me was the NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 750.   I checked online and am confused with all the different versions and prices from this point.   Any help with specifications or which?    I need (or should) spend anything else?

    Hey Pops,

I suggest that you go back to the person who recommended the NVIDIA GTX 750 and ask for evidence that it works before buying this graphics card.  The NVIDIA GTX 750 even if there a hybrid BIOS will work in some older PCs, but not others.

Games?  Buy the NVIDIA GTX 660 and compare them with the CX600 Corsair or CS650m.

  • 2GB GDDR EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti FTW? I can do better for $150?

I have a Geforce GTX 460 old but reliable. A beautiful card that has kept me during four years. But it didn't really hurt with the DSLR images and QT 1080 p high sampling rates. I don't like having to drop to 1/2 or even 1/4 resolution when editing so... Maybe I need a boost.

I hooked an EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 3 GB for less than $95, but it arrived today via UPS in a box of crushed. Needless to say that UPS requires a refund to the seller.

So I looked at the 2 GB EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti FTW. $150 at Amazon. Looks like I might have a few good bang by puck and an improvement over my current GTX460 which is only 1 GB memory GDDR5 256 - Bit. It is not at rest and performs better than many maps of the time, but I know I can do better.

As a palliative for the next 6 to 8 months, what do you think of switching to the GTX 750 Ti FTW? There are already some time I researched maps and not sure, given the choice.

We got $150 new and I love this thing what we called a guarantee but I'm open to suggestions.

I have an ASUS Z97Pro Wifi USB3.1 mb, Intel Core i7 - 4790K Quad - Core 4 GHz cpu, and 16 GB of DDR3. Windows 7 pro 64 installed on a new Samsung 850 Pro SSD (boy is fast).

Huge case Phanteks Enthoo white Pro. Thanks in advance!

the gtx 580 would have been about 2 x faster than the gtx 460. the ti 750 gtx is somewhere between those of speed. If you want to buy a new one, are looking for a ti 750 gtx near $130 or gtx 960 around $200. the 960 gtx is still faster than the gtx 580. If you want to try to buy new used, try to find a gtx 570 or above for about $100.

If this isn't the case, could you please solve the problem for me. Because I believe that there is no problem with my PC hardware and it should work fine.

    Best regards and thank you

    Hi Ken,

Watch high aon back of the graphics card for a switch.  See the image below.

You should have received a leaflet in the box describing the use of the switch (legacy mode or UEFI).  If your PC is a version 8 HP BIOS then disable secure boot if set. If your PC isn't at the level of the BIOS version 8 and then the switch must be in position inherited.  The brochure should describe the use of the switch.

    MrGamer101, welcome to the forum.

Here's the model manufactured by EVGA.  Look in the 'Détails' tab for complete specifications.  It says that the card is 9 "long.    I suggest to make a model of the size of the map to see if she will enter the space with a good air circulation.  When playing or doing intensive video tasks much heat is developed.  It's a PCI Express 3.0 x 16 and the slot in the motherboard PCI Express 2.0 x 16.  The 3.0 is backward compatible.  If it can be properly inserted into the space, it should work without any problems.

After this purchase pre-built Intel PC five or so years ago, it has graphic capeabilities are unfortunately insufficient for what I need. Long story short, I want to buy a new graphics card, but I don't know that the motherboard system takes care of everything. The card I currently have is a GT230 and I want to move to is the GeForce GTX 750 EVA and my motherboard is an MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E) with an i7-860 processor. I can update without burning my PC?

    Thank you!

    Ranger_621, welcome to the forum.

750 GTX graphics cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  Therefore, it would be incompatible with your computer.  The last series of video cards that does not need UEFI was 640 gt.

I understand that you plan to install the MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti in your HP Pavilion a6713sc desktop PC. Unfortunately, your computer does not support this graphics card. I recommend that seek you for a graphics card that supports PCIe x 16 GEN 2.0 and no higher than your motherboard has PCIe x 16 GEN 1.0 slots and GEN 3.0 are not compatible.

I hope this helps. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!
