• ZTE C open brick after upgrade. Fastboot showing errors: "E:misssing bitmap installing_text-1 of the code.

  Hi, have fun trying to get my previous network config to work with the new service provider broadband.

  pretty standard installation with hotwire as the ISP form the outside inward:

  (1) ALU 7342 Ontario (supposedly as a bridge)

  (2) switch GigE ZTE with ISP controlled port access)

  WAN port ethernet to Ontario

  port 1 port Wan AEBS

  port 5 to IPTV STB

  (3) AESB - currently set to DHCP and NAT with 192.le xx range (all ranges of hotwire are 10.x)

  I have only 10 devices with a connection through the internet at the time (which seems to be mac limited and has very long leases before allowing a new device through). As a family of 5, we have 5 iPhones, iPads 3, 2 iMac, 3 MacBook, 1 printer airplay, two AppleTV, two smart TV, an xbox, a, a PS4, etc. not to mention when the children's friends are more. (where the apparent joy at the concert's broadband service)

  I tried:

  (1) AESB as bridge - devices sit trying to connect for long periods of time, never to receive an IP address after the first 10.

  (2) talk to the support technique hotwire. Each 3-4 calls they close ticket blamed it on the router from apple.

  any ideas?

  In the hypothesis where it does not work correctly, DHCP and mode NAT, the router of the airport will allow up to 50 wireless devices and 150 devices Ethernet to connect.

  I've never had 50 aircraft wireless connected at a time, but during a family reunion there was 30 to 35 wireless devices on the network that I had put in place.  No problem at all.

  But what I did not... and you could... is a Double NAT error on the network.  Have you checked to see if that might be the case?  Double NAT can cause all sorts of problems.

  ONTARIO cannot be a 'bridge' if it will provide up to 10 IP addresses when you have airport configured in Bridge Mode.

  When the airport is set to Bridge Mode, he realizes none of all routing.  All 10 IP addresses are assigned by ONTARIO, a router, or anything like that. AirPort Extreme is not assigning IP addresses at all if it is in Bridge Mode.

• What is the maximum memory card SD that I can use my C open ZTE?

• ZTE open C does not recognize my SD card.

  As I said - SD card does not recognize my open C of ZTE. The phone came to me with Android and the same card worked out well. I used this card to install FFOS and he was also allowed, but now is not. The system doesn't and I can't use the same camera that I can not put any other storage media that the SD card.   Before that I did, I have observed some strange behaviors on that you might want to know:

  After I connected the phone to my PC, I could see two new removable drives in Explorer, but after clicking on one of them, I received a request to "insert a disc in the drive." In any case, when I unplugged the phone I could access "storage media" option in the settings menu, which was not available before, and I could see that there is an inserted SD card and he showed me his info space capacity and free/used.   After all, I contacted the seller and he gave me the link to download FFOS (one related by Ralph Daub didn't work for some reason any). After installing FFOS, it recognizes my phone C OPEN, so I guess it's one of those Chinese mysteries, I never really understand.

  That is right.

  If your carrier of choice has no 3G coverage where you are, or if the carrier does not support frequencies 3G mentioned above, you will be connected via GSM (2G) network.

  If, however, you use a network that supports the above mentioned frequencies and you are in an area where 3G coverage, then you will be connected via HSDPA (3G) network.

  I also suggest you contact the carrier network to confirm what radio frequencies are used, because they will be able to provide more accurate and up to date. =)

  The first lock, the Lockscreen wallpaper is the same as the desktop wallpaper. After unlock the screen and close it, the Lockscreen wallpaper is the default wallpaper. The wallpaper is always the same.

  The only recent changes as Firefox 31.0 is that Android 2.3 + is required when 2.2 was min before and ARMv6 is deleted as only ARMv7 and Intel x 86 is taken in charge.

• My ZTE OPEN OS Firefox ' battery should be replaced. where can I get a new one?

  I searched on the web all morning without success. The old battery model is Li3712T42P3h654246h. It was of short duration from the beginning, but loses now free within 48 hours even when unused with all off. She was replaced by a different model perhaps?   Ah thank you jeradw00. I was looking for a British supplier, but if it must come from the Australia so be it. ZTE has been really helpful - telling me to contact my local provider. It is not a course because they sold only OPEN on their own ebay UK site specially set up and now they sell only OPEN C, which has a different battery.

  I ordered an open C of ZTE on Ebay from the United Kingdom, and I wanted to unlock the bootloader.
  I followed the instructions from here (http://en.comebuy.com/developer-firefox-os-open-c.html), installed the version of the EU (I ordered the phone from the Hungary), but if I boot into recovery mode, I see that the recovery version is 0B 04, but it must be B 0, 06, and the phone is not rooted because of this (adb shell getprop ro.secure) command (it says 0 and as far I know this means that it is not rooted).
  I want to use android on the device, but now I can't even install the kitkat or the rom of firefox (it says error verifivation) could you help me how to install Kitkat on device with gapps?

  I understand that you tried to update your open C of ZTE eBay using the image on the page Comebuy, but that the update seems to have been unsuccessful.

  I suggest you try to redownload your image and go through the update process once more.

  If the problem persists, you will need to contact ZTE for extra support. ZTE is the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) who created the device-specific construction and update tools.

  I understand that you have connection problems to your network WPA2-PSK.

  Unfortunately, WPA2-PSK is currently not supported on Firefox OS version 1.3. Only WPA-TKIP and WPA2-AES are supported.
