2 ThinkPad battery life
Given that fearful ThinkPad 2 Lion-polymer battery not replaceable, we know how long (ie the number of months/years) is the battery designed to last, before it stops working and must be replaced.
about 300 cycles
some can make up to 600 cycles
and they lose half of their capacity...
If you mean by 'stop working' as pending 0% of their original charge... probably 2000 cycles - but at this time there it would probably last half a minute... (for the sake of the argument, it's "still works but"... just not "good")
so I guess the answer to your question on "shut down" is 11 years if your load once all two days!
I suggest go here to learn more about the batteries:

ThinkPad X 220 what happened to my battery life?
Hello
I brought my X 220 in 2011 with a battery 9 cells and could get about 14 hours of battery life out of it. The old battery and would not be at full capacity so I brought a new battery 9 cells of Lenovo in
DecemberAugust 2015. But the new battery gives me only 4 hours of autonomy. What happened to the other 10 hours I used to get in 2011?-
ThinkPad X 220 Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit SP1
Intel Core i5 2520 M 2.50 GHz
8.00 GB Dual - Channel DDR3 @ 664 MHz RAM
Card mother LENOVO 4286CTO
Screen LCD 1366 x 768
Intel HD Graphics 3000
Samsung 850 PRO 256GB SSD storage
Hi Ruben,.
The battery seems fine. She still holds 87% of its nominal capacity. (Less than 80% the first year would be eligible for a replacement under warranty).
When the battery runs down, it does little by little, or is there a point where it drops quickly to say 60% to 20%? (That would be an indication of a defective cell in the battery.)
The drain of the battery elementsindividuellement is the brightness of the screen. Try to reduce that as low as possible.
Regarding the use of CPU in the background, go to the Windows Task Manager (Ctl-Alt-Del...), click the process tab, and you will get a list of all running processes. Click the CPU column to sort descending by the CPU usage.

Reduced in the coming W540 battery life?
First the good news - it's going to be a W540
http://shop.Lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ThinkPad/w-series/w540/
Strangely the W540 shows a maximum battery life of 6 hours down from the 7.4 of the W530?
540: "battery lifeup to 6 hours with the battery 6 cells standard."
530: "battery lifeup to 7.4 hours with battery 6 cells removable.
No idea why?

It is a mistake, the K2100M 576 carrots.

99% of the time that I intend to use my Think pad plugged. My battery is in good condition and all functions.
Question: To extend the duration of remaining battery life, what is the best way to do it?
Remove it and store it somewhere cool and dry and use alternating current. If I intend to use the reflection with the AC pad, I would not mind setting power mode (ie. run out with alternating current) to allow that.
Or just leave it alone and let it cycle for an AC plugged into a power state?
I think I adjusted to an AC battery optimal buffer conditions as being now use.
Thank you
BobBattery lithium age that it is used or not. Yours is probably already very old.
ThinkPads were not designed to be used without batteries for an extended period of time, so to keep the battery in the machine and enjoy.
Good luck.

Hi, I've been looking around for a laptop with the best range on the market, and I read the ThinkPad x 230 ( http://www.lenovo.com/products/us/laptop/thinkpad/x-series/x230/ ) has a fairly high autonomy, I was wondering how to do this, this site here. http://blog.laptopmag.com/all-day-strong-longest-lasting-notebooks it is said that it can reach up to 20 hours and 46 minutes with a battery 9 cells and piles of sheet, so I looked around the battery 9 cells on your website and I discovered that it is can be ordered with the laptop or separately so that is not a problem but the problem is with the battery sheet as far as I know, the only one who takes care of the built-in battery is the battery 6 cells sheet here http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-and-parts/detail.page?&LegacyDocID=MIGR-76758 but I'm still not sure how it works, if I'm battery 6 sheets with battery 9 cells with cell phone they would combine in a way their autonomy and work as one and when I load the map of battery would it load both batteries and indicate the level of the two on the sheet of battery? This is what it will really reach 20 hours of battery life without having to change all the parameters of the laptop to take another source of power supply (if I left the laptop on and unattended) me? I'm really looking forward to buy this laptop if the join of the batteries and the work as only and can get up to 20 hours of battery life.
By the looks and personal observation, it's a slice battery. but that is called an external battery, don't know why. It is exactly the same as a battery slice.
The two batteries together should get a high number of hours. I'm not sure of exact times however. with a light load as you did I'm sure that he would not die for a while. The exact times are difficult to determine without testing. Unfortunately I do not have a battery slice.
I think it will be a great tool for the trip. It is light, fast and has a long battery life.
I hope this helps.

Someone else has problems with how long does the battery last? I just bought mine yesterday and the battery life is very short. I am very disappointed. He had a full charge to 01:00 and I put it and when I woke up at 7:30, it was like 26%.
Hello
Battery life varies depending on use and other factors.
During tests, for example, Apple has reached 18 hours of battery life with the next use: 90 time checks, 90 notifications, 45 minutes of usage of the app and a workout of 30 minutes with Apple Watch Bluetooth music playback.
Other examples are available here:

Is it true that only charge your iphone at 100% can shorten its battery life?
Because some say it may decrease the battery life if you always or often recharge your iphone to 100%. They said that it is better not to load it 100%, and some have said it's ok to charge your phone to 100%.
your phone/ipad/computer laptop/ipod is designed to be loaded until it reaches capacity. That's what it is designed by engineers. Then no. Tell the 'they' who says 'it is better do not reach' 04:20 occurs only twice a day and they have to keep it up to two times per day to book all the cells of the brain are left in hiding.

Since the update to IOS 10 my battery percentage meter slept on 100% at all times. the only time where is the change is if im using the phone to play a game or something and it all of a sudden everything stops as his death. I plug it into a charger and it turns almost immediately and said my battery life is a kind of p 100, 40, 73, etc... I did a restore and it seems it will continue with the same question. I followed all the steps to save the life of the battery and the problem still happens. Help, please
Try to download the app from the battery life which is available for free on the App Store. Check the battery with it and if defective, schedule an appointment in an Apple store for eventual replacement.
If your device does not load, try the procedure described in this article from Apple:

On my 13 "mid 2012, MacBook Air, I had just completely loaded the night too many MacBook and I needed to bring it to school. I checked the battery and it said '100% ', but when I checked the time remaining, he says "01:29. I thought it was weird and I quit all applications, restarted and then checked once more. This time, he said "04:46. The laptop lasted all day school, but I had to have only the minimum of apps open and the brightness of the screen on 3. Anyone know why?
Your battery is aged four years and who knows how many cycles. It may be ready to be replaced. Have you checked the stats in Information System?

The battery life with watchOS3
I've updated to watchOS3 yesterday. Tonight, my watch came into low power and then mode on the way, after my usual 15 hours a day. Watch BONES 1 & 2, I've always had throughout the day. Something must be disabled. But what. No apps, etc. have been changed by my point of view.

5s short battery life iPhone, phone like new 6 months.
I bought my iPhone about 6 months ago. I have problems with the battery life. I plug all night. Unplug in the morning and about 4 hours he spends 100% to 40%, even without me using the telephone. I thought to buy a new battery from Amazon and change myself. I found videos on YouTube showing how do, and it seems very easy to do. Someone out there chaned their own battery before? Was it easy to do? And your phone has worked for you once you have changed your battery yourself?
Just thought I ask. I am one of these people if it's something I can do for my part, I do. Does anyone has an entry on the situation before I try this on my own?
Hello
The battery on the iPhone is not replaceable by the user. The battery - if that is the real problem - is covered by the limited warranty of one year of Apple. If the iPhone is out of warranty, Apple also offers a service of the battery. The cost for this varies across countries (currently $79 in the United States, for example).
However, as a first step, I suggest that you try to solve the problem of life battery. You can, for example, to consider measures such as:
- Review Apple tips to maximize battery performance:
- Backup, restore your iPhone to factory settings then set up as new or restore:
- Update the software to the latest version:
If the problem persists, I suggest you contact Apple technical support or make a Genius Bar reservation for assistance in identifying / confirming the issue and, if necessary, to set up your service from the available battery options, time and cost.

9.3.3 iOS seems to hit the battery life
On our iPads, battery life seems to have taken a severe blow after installing 9.3.3. For example, one was at 97 percent before bedtime and 3 percent the next morning with the "battery" showing that "home and lock screen" as the culprits. Is this common?
No it's not. I suggest that you reset the unit by keeping the power and Home keys pressed until the Apple logo.
