A confirmation email can be automatically sent to a person who submits a form?
I'll put up a job application form PDF for internal use at my company. The team that will fill out and send this form on a recurring basis wants to know if there is a way, they receive a confirmation email after they submit the form, indicating the details (date, time) etc for the submission of the form. As it is, they submit the form and the data will "in space" so to speak, and they have no record of sending the form or the data entered. I looked everywhere and not been able to find any information on how to do it. The only other option is for me (the Distributor) send manually whenever I get form data. Of course, I don't want to do this so I would like to know if there is a way to automate it.
You will need to set up the form differently from what you get when distribute you via the Wizard "Distribute form", unless you configure your e-mail server to send an automatic response (for example, a notification of vacation response). If you want to go this route, it would be better to create an account just for your forms and define the response of holiday you want. You must use this e-mail address when you are using the distribution Wizard. The e-mail address used is configured by selecting: Edit > Preferences > identity > Email address
You can change it after you have distributed the form.
The alternative is to put in place the form submit to a web server, which deals with the presentation, extract the data in the form of email address of the user, sends notification and did something with the XFDF. It might move you in another e-mail.

I've been using thunderbird for a few years - in the last month when I tried to send e-mails, I have a problem with some of them as part of the email address changed when I insert it ino the address bar and has quotes around the first part of the address before the @. I tried to remove the addresses and re - insert them but the same thing happens. If I go to the address bar and delete the commas that the email is sent - can I overcome this problem without having to enter each email? I send emails to many people and change each one who has the problem takes a lot of time. Not all e-mail addresses has this problem. Many thanks - Tim
The space is not evident.
The most common and probable cause is you copy paste the email address.
This can very easily copy paste an empty space and empty spaces do not appear as an easily detected error. But this is the only scenario that I found which produces the question you had - incorrect address Contact framed by double quotes around part first - pre @ but the blue link is good.It does not occur if you have an e-mail address is sent to you in an e-mail and you use the left click on the email address and select "add to address book".
It should not happen if hand typed unless an error is made. -

To turn off the confirmation emails that you receive when you send a job to ePrint, you want to set up a list of senders.
First, sign in to your account at http://www.eprintcenter.com.
To the left of "Recent print jobs", you should see a button that says "ePrint Settings." Go ahead and click on that.
The first page that appears is the settings "senders".
You want to choose "Only authorized senders" and enter an email address that will send to the printer printing jobs. After you add an e-mail, he adds the e-mail address to a list below. I think you set up by using the parameters of this mail client only. For example, if you have a Gmail account, you will need to go to Google for it. If it of Yahoo or AOL or e-mail address for your ISP, the same is true. There is nothing I can find in the preferences of Mail dealing with the confirmation email.
