  recently I changed my password user account for my office but I forgot, so I'm not able to reach my information. I didn't keep it in my mind, because I thought that it is very simple! How can I solve this problem?
  Here you go:
  1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.
  2. select Repair from the menu.
  3. Select an administrator account, and then enter its password.
  4. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
  5. set Windows to a point before you changed the password.
  6 plan ahead a little and create, test and document an alternative admin account, same as you have a spare emergency House key. This will save you a lot of trouble.
  As an alternative, you can use your repair Windows CD to start the machine in Repair Mode and launch the system restore process.

  I have an old power Mac OSX 10.5.8 running. I store all my images under the same folder on the same hard drive. For some reason any and this has never happened before, always worked normally prior to that, I don't know why the images cannot be deleted and moved to the trash in LR.   His is as the files do not have the correct permissions. Because they are on an external drive, you could select the drive icon, bring up the info (Cmd + i) window and check the box "ignore ownership on this volume".

  What to do with all my internal/external additional disks by default. It is usually no problem, except if you need to prevent other users to access the files.
