Acer Aspire V17 Nitro black VN7 - 791 G-76Z8 Edition plugged + unplugged FPS - FPS

Whenver I play CSGO I need to plug my laptop in order to get high FPS. When it is plugged I usually get about 150-200 images per second. I think that I'm not getting the most out of my money, because as soon as I unplug my laptop, my fps drops to 30 images/s flat in the game and stays there.

I searched on google and most people drive tell me to change the battery with high performance options, but I think that when I change the option it only the applys to my integrated graphics card. I don't think it's to recognize my Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 m.

So, if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello

I don't know if this will help but here goes nothing. Go to the program of The Experience of Geforce of NVIDIA and under the Tab Preferences, you will find a BatteryBoost on the left side. Turn it on and set the slider to the right or turn it off to keep the card running at full lvls. This is just speculation, but give it a try.

  • Aspire V17 Nitro black GTX860, video driver keeps crashing / locking PC

    Hello to all and Hello,

My laptop keeps either crashing the video driver and windows gives a message saying that he was able to recover (rarely it actually retrieves), normally it crashes my PC (mouse would start dragging slowly and then just stop) then everything crashes completely. I had to put it all to use the onboard graphics rather than the Nvidia GPU. I updated on my updates to windows with Windows 8.1 and when it started first of all, I was using the latest nvidia drivers, but he started that past so often that I went back 2 versions of the pilot and it was ok for about a week, but then started happening again yesterday. It happened once more this morning, fortunately it didn't shut up, but I got the error saying windows he recovered.

I'm on an Acer Aspire V17 Nitro Black Edition, i7 4710HQ, 16 GB ram, GTX860M GPU, 359.06 driver version. Anyone have any ideas? The only thing that so far I've ever seen in the cases where display with regard to what is at all since this morning, and it was only a warning saying "display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." ID #4101. Since I've already tried 3 different display drivers, I'm at a loss for anything else to try. Someone at - it similar problems?

    Thank you!

  • Can we do a disassembly video or guide of the Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition?

The laptop in question is the Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition VN7-591 G - 4 K 729V.

There is literally no clear disassembly video which is in English and subtitled in English. As most of this community knows, the Acer Aspire V15 does not have a maintenance hatch, so you literally have to take off the keyboard as well as all of the top panel to make any kind of change.

I want to replace the HDD with a SSD and most of the time I don't know where the slot for it, but it's all the other threads that worry me. Knowing what must be disconnected when you lift the keyboard and what belongs in knowing where is a nightmare. I'm not quite trust by opening, can someone make at least a step by step guide, with or without photos or at the most a video in English? Thank you.

What type of connector do you speak? These 3 connectors which are connected to the keyboard when you lift first open?

My question is if I can remove the HARD drive of 1 TB of the laptop and put in this 1 TB of Samsung SSD? The laptop comes with 256 GB SSD already installed inside, so I was wondering if I could rock with this SSD and the Samsung TB 1 one as well.

    In a Word, Yes.

  • Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition - Windows 10 drivers (touchpad / IO)

The touchpad drivers install but do nothing, I saw a post saying install IO drivers, but those who do not install. Choose my laptop, then Windows 10 64-bit model and download the IO drivers, they say "supported system no. None of these drivers seem to work, how to make this work?

The laptop came with installed 8.1 and I improved however, the hard drive has no 'end-to-end error' so I replaced it with another portable drive. When I upgraded to 10 8.1 the touchpad worked. I know that the touchpad is not broken or disabled insofar as it works very well on my linux install.

Have you tried to press Fn + F7?

on Device Manager, click the view tab, select Show devices and check again on the touchpad.

I would also check on the connections of ribbons on your mobile, because you or someone has changed the HARD drive and perhaps forgotten or loose something.

  • Acer Aspire V15 Nitro replace SSD HARD drive

I bought this laptop in March 2015. This laptop comes with 1 TB of HDD.

I wanted to replace the HDD SSD but I called the service center (Service of Highpoint), Acer technician told me that there is no way to replace with SSD because the port is different, any SSD can also compatible with this laptop HARD drive port.

This make me very confuse because I search in google, replace with SSD is quite possible.

So I'm here to ask for advice. Hope can get a response. Thank you.

My laptop model: Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition (VN7 - 591 G)

    -Core i7 4710Q

    -12 GB OF DDR3 RAM

    -HARD DRIVE 1 TB

    -NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M

you have 2 options on your laptop:

    (1) switch for one SSD 1 TB HARD drive

    (2) add an SSD on form factory M2 on its location (top-left, near the fan), so you can have installed SSD and HDD

the second option, other users have done so, and sometimes they have had some problems during the recording of the SSD as first boot device (or window Boot Manager), since the BIOS tries to boot from SATA port.

You can force it by pressing F12 at startup and select the appropriate boot device.

    It is up to you.

  • The Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7 - 792G - 709L is equipped with a camera Realsense from Intel?

The Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7 - 792G - 709L is equipped with a camera Realsense from Intel?  I'm looking for a computer laptop 17 "Skylake founded with an Intel Realsense camera and screen 4K.  An article in September read:

«Compared to the Broadwell and Haswell, the Nitros material Skylake get new versions and DDR4 RAM, faster wireless connectivity, a slight exterior redesign (the lid is covered with a metal foil now), more choice screen (including the options of wide gamut UHD to be 15 and the 17-incher) and a USB port gen2 with Thunderbolt 3 support 3.1.» Nitro blacks also get faster PCIe 3 rd gen storage options and a webcam Intel RealSense optional will be also available for them from December. »

It is now December and I can't tell which models have the camera Realsense and those who don't. They say just "Webcam YES". The Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7 - 792G - 709L stands out because of the price.  It's $400 more than the fitted with similiarly VN7 - 792 G-752J with the only obvious difference being a 512 GB SSD instead of a 256 GB SSD.  The hard drive more nothing can possibly justify the $400 price difference make me wonder if this is the model I am looking for.

Can anyone confirm if the Aspire V Nitro VN7 - 792G - 709L comes with a camera Realsense or otherwise an update on ETA what Skylake based systems with RealSense will be available?

    NitroRS,

What I can see, is that the Realsense camera is an option on the Black Edition Nitros, VN7-* 92G series to early 2016.

  • Need help with identification card WiFi Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7 - 792G - 79 LX

I just got an Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7 - 792 G - 79 LX that I bought recently a few days ago. I'm not thrilled with Windows 10, so I installed Windows 7 x 64 on it, instead. I only had a chance, until I had to go to work (I drive a semitrailer tractor for a living, and I am currently on the road), to find Windows 7 drivers for the network Realtek card in it, and I now need to find Windows 7 x 64 drivers for the WiFi card. I need help to identify the make and model of the wireless card that my laptop has, because when I go to the Acer website and enter my serial number, then search for drivers, it lists drivers for WiFi cards of 4 or 5 and 2 different Bluetooth drivers.

I'm sure that my Nitro V17 has an Atheros WiFi Qualcomm card, and I found the information on another site (no Acer) that my card Atheros WiFi Qualcomm model number is NFA344.

Anyone can check that it is correct?

    Thank you!

  • SSD for my Aspire V Nitro 15 VN7 - 571 G-72UZ

    I can add a SSD for my Aspire V Nitro 15 VN7 - 571 G-72UZ? It's super slow...

    Absolutely Yes.

Update to the SSD HARD drive is a good way to improve your PC. My suggestion is to only install the OS on the SSD if the HARD drive still works. Then use the HARD drive as secondary storage. This would save space on the SSD so you won't need to buy SSDS with capacity. I don't know what your operating system, but normally a 120 GB SSD is sufficient for the OS. And you can install some favorite programs if there is a lot of space left after the installation of the operating system.

Clean install and cloning two works, yet if you want to keep all the current personal settings, cloning is the best choice. You can learn more about transfer of HARD OS to SSD drive here. Note that after cloning or a clean installation, you will need to remove the old HDD or change the boot settings in the BIOS to check if the operating system starts. If everything is OK, reformat the partition to the OS on the HARD drive in Windows PE mode (you cannot format under Windows environment).

    Kind regards.

  • best settings for the mouse Aspire V17 Nitro

Can someone please help me get my beautiful new laptop Aspire V17 Nitro back in fast running.  I was playing with the mouse and wanted to see what it better then made more big and dark.  not a others that I don't remember fiddling with, but now the mouse is not sensitive to my contact, whom he accuses delay - buffer is even worse.  Apologizes for being a bozo.

    PamL,

To reset the your mouse pointer to the default settings, if necessary, you will need to go into the control panel to do. Here are the steps to achieve this:

    Desktop mode

    1. Right-click on the Start button, click Control Panel.

    2. On the left, click on hardware and audio.

    3. In devices and printers, click the mouseon the left.

    4. Left-click on the pointers to the bottom tab, you will see by default, left click it.

To adjust your settings for the touchpad, you're in mosaic mode, which simply means that you can click on the Start button of Windows once to get there.

    1. On your keyboard, type parameters.

    2. Left click on laptop settings.

    3. Left-click on PC and devices.

    4. Left-click on the mouse and touchpad.

I'll predict what the camera I could get hold of parameters:

    Touchpad: on

Activate Swiping from the left or right edge: on

    Reversal feeling of scrolling: Off

To help prevent the cursor to move accidentally while you type, cut the taps or change the time before taps work: way

If you set the unit back to this and it still has problems, it could be related to a recent Windows Update which took place on your device. You can perform a System Restore and your anti-roll system when it worked correctly and works before here.

  • I have an Aspire V17 Nitro (VN7 - 791 G-72MY). Slow startup

For the last 6 weeks, the time taken to show the ACER screen then screen password W10 is taken longer and longer. This morning 25 mins toget screen Acer showed. Anything appearing in the bios to explain it and when she started the machine runs all tests very well and is functioning normally. Its my head in any idea do?

Good one now work V17 Nitro. As I was beginning to suspect the Bios had indeed been corrupted. The Tech removed all devices and started from scratch. Looks like that the bios was corrupted, possibly due to a power surge. Once replaced with a bios updated machine is a dry 9 start of pressing the power button. (Instead of up to 1 h and hear the rotation of the disk to the top and stop, start and stop, etc).

So if you get similar happening get a proper BIOS verification may be the same fault as I had.
