  • Acer Liquid z220 HOME ACER stuck in the loop of the error, cannot use my menu

    Hello

I bought an Acer Liquid Z220 two days ago and everything worked perfectly. Today, I watched my menu, and she advised me that "sorry, home Acer was arrested.'. I tried turning work, reset, reset the cached data, forcing the stoppage. I can't break out of this loop. I can still access everything through "Open recent", and through notifications, it is just the menu that I can't access. I tried to use the other menu browser offered with this phone, Quick Mode. But I'm honestly not interested in having my cell phone look like Win8 theme, that's why I chose host Acer in the first place.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

I hope that's not recurring, if so, is probably just a bug on Lollipop and Acer will repair it via OTA.

  • Menu buttons Acer H236HL scrambled

For some reason, the buttons used to navigate through the menu of the monitor were completely mixed. I can't move up or left in any menu. The left button seems to be to do nothing. The exit button is the same as the right/down button and button functions (the "e" key) recent identical to the exit button

    Image reference:

If the as functions presented to the 'e' like 'exit' logo under the 'exit' button works as button 'right '. Left does nothing. Right to work normally.

It's very annoying, but I'd be able to work around it, if one of the buttons was 'left/up' in the menu. Upward is not also important since you can keep knocking down and it just sends you to the top once again, but I need a left button to adjust the brightness, contrast, color and navigate through presets. Now, the menu is unusable.

If anyone may help me, or at least explain why it happened, I would be very grateful.

This could be a disappointing response, but it's worth a try. Literally an hour ago, I personally 'fixed it' at the bottom right of the screen and the keys/bezel with isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth for cleaning. I used a fair bit of strength but not too much.

I don't know if this is what fixed it but I have nothing else before I cleaned the screen, and I know that the menu does not work properly. I cleaned the screen and on a whim decided to try again a time, menus and all the buttons worked correctly. I'm ashamed to say that it was the first time cleaning the keys/bezel knowing that I bought the monitor for more than a year. I hope this helps. I know it looks stupid and simple and 'too easy', and I don't know if it was just a stupid coincidence, then it might be worth trying (if you're like me, need a good cleaning buttons... )

Let me know if it works! (if you clean regularly, this post in its entirety will be probably just annoy you, but I swear to you that seems to have worked for me.)

No activity of the mouse is possible.

    Mike,

    Try these 2 things:

    Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

If the above does not work, try to make a Bootable ERD to do a Startup Repair:

As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

  • Nine Acer Predator G3-605 starts windows 8

    Hello.
I got my Acer Predator G3 605 last week, but the system was slow.
So I decided to put my SSD OCZ Agility 120 GB 2 expansion slot and instal windows drive there.
As a first step, it starts up fine and work fast. I installed all the updates and soft, reboot several times and no problems.
After I put everything I have delete the windows HARD disk partition. Then system stop when windows starts.

    So far, I tried this:
    1. several resettlement on the SSD and HDD image or clean install.
    2. all the BIOS for SECURE BOOT settings (on/stop/standard/custom/key on / key removed) and CSM.
    3. I connect only SSD or HDD only and do recover or new installation.
4 delete all partitions and recover / clean installation.
    5. update of the BIOS/SSD firmware
6 recovery discs acer does not help. Even that resetting the BIOS.

Nothing helps. He works until the 'Configuration' window material and after the reboot that it stuck.
No idea what can be wrong and how to fix it?
    I do not know more
    Thanks for any help.

I finally found a solution by myself, so I'll post my solution here in case someone will have the same problem.
It works for me, can't promise it will work for everyone.

    My step by step solution:
    1. I created WindowsToGo on my USB with this statement:
    http://www.TomsHardware.co.UK/FAQ/ID-1867613/create-Windows-drive-Windows-enterprise.html
    2. from Acer Support I have download all the latest drivers for my Acer Predator G3 605 and extract everything to a special folder on my USB key
    3. I disconnect my HDD SATA cable drive (there is still no connected SSD)
    4. in the bios I have disable startup secure, activate the start menu and CSM always turn on
    5. After restart I press F12 and the start menu, I selected my USB with WinToGo
    6. once my Windows go hardware and post installation preparation I finally see the start menu.
    7. the first thing to do was connect my HDD SATA cable so windows automatically detects the drive
    8. I open prompt by admin, type diskpart, and then list disk, my HARD drive has disk 0 so I type select disk 0, then clean type
    9. I have installed all the drivers for my Acer and restart
10 after restarting, I go to my pre downloaded BIOS updated and open the app updated
11 choose ROM file, choose update all (not only part of pre selected), then click FLASH
12 reboot, unplug my USB and put it in my installation USB Windows 8 key (DVD can also be used)
    13. from Windows install go to advance the installation and choose the HARD drive (in this point installation program said that cannot be installed on this drive as bios don't have drivers, but I could still create partition, so I did two create and click Next)
    14. After all server files have been copied computer auto restart
15 Windows 8 shows the information for the preparation of the devices (it was the last part of work for me before, cuz after computer restart blocked)
    16. after restarting Windows boot and go to the Customization screen. Everything works.

I have to keep secure boot off and CSM on yet.

  • 10 Windows start menu bug-Predator G9-591

    Hello acer community,

I seem to have this bug on my windows 10 pro. It happened when I got home too. Whenever I press the start menu, it shows the normal color, I chose, after I press something on it, as all applications or power, it goes darker. If I move my mouse over the start menu it goes even darker. I tried to restore it and others.

Please y at - it solution

Finally, I found a solution to your problem. No need to reset factory no need to full reinstall. The problem comes from your Intel HD graphics driver, does not solve the problem in my old laptop se I just disabled the 3D settings without knowing this would fix it. As you use the integrated graphics card which means the correction might also work for you also. Go to intel hd graphics control panel and then turn off the 3D settings. I have no graphics built-in so I can't show you which setting, you must turn off exactly, but the first start by disabling all the and if it does start turning on one by one to see exactly one must be turned off.

Also update the Intel HD graphics driver to the latest version.
