Acrobat Reader DC won't load, or no cleaning tool

I've seen enough complaints similar here to know that I am not alone in this all.

I did my best to clean/uninstall/exorcise the PDF reader on my machine so I could reinstall cleanly.

In fact, when I tried to use this day cleaning tool here, he would not release him, so I just uninstall the program in the usual way.

Now, I try to install fresh, but I can't because the uninstaller is hung up, saying "new Version already installed.

(Well first of all, why would I a "new version" already than I install fresh on your own server?).

I tried everything in order, on your list of things to try.  An hour later, I took the time to send you healthy comments during promotion, "Is it useful?"

Apparently you don't take my advice, because you are still in business.

Yet once again, I tried the cleaning tool.  As before, it just hangs up ("not responding").

While you are not at least try to make fresh suggestions to solve my problem, could you at least explain why a company that is in competition with:

Foxit

Nitro reader

Excape PDF

PDF-XChange Viewer

Wondershare PDF Editor

Sumatra PDF

Evince

Okular

MuPDF

Skim

ZATHURA

Xodo

and all web major browsers out there

... can't get it together to do its ' products work best?

Come to think about it... even when you try to make them more effective, you do not have to re - write a single line of code without triggering a notice to update.

Looking forward to your support help.

(I'm on Windows 7, use the alternative Firefox pale Moon for a browser and am a regular user of Adobe Audition, Photoshop Elements, Flash players 17 Active-X and NPAPI 21... NONE of them have I caused by stress as your PDF readers over the years)

The problem is now solved by Microsoft, no Adobe.  I ran 'Fix It' usefulness and guess what - he did what he said he would do.  I chose what program I could not uninstall, and he finds the corrupt entry in the registry, it corrects and uninstalled the program for me.

Once this has been done within two minutes, I was able to re - install the program, I've been waiting for a week to do.

I used the "Fix It" utility before, and he has always solved my problems so far.  The only thing, it must be remembered, you must uninstall the utility once you're done with it.  What I'll do now.  And finally back to my work.

Points to Microsoft on this one!

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader DC do not load properly (and eventually crashed)

    Hello

I use Win 7 64-bit version edition + Acrobat Reader DC (with the last update patch)

    Problem:

1 / when I open a PDF file (from local hard drive, click directly on the PDF file), the document shows empty at the beginning, but the content will be begins to reappear (or flashing) when I started to scroll to the top & low... and finally, a message appears and says "Acrobat Reader DC has stop responding.

2 / OK, so I tried to open Acrobat Reader first (direct click on the desktop icon), the Acrobat Reader window will load (or seem to) as usual. However, all displays by default.

-The 'Home' (assumed to be in the middle of the window) menu is empty. Move the pointer across it does not help.

-The column "icon" (below the menu bar) is empty. When I say white, I mean its totally blank icons, not even grey are show.

-The "menu bar" appears correctly at some point. However, once I've moved my the mouse pointer over the menu bar, the menu (file |) Change | View etc...) disappear and does not appear. I can always click on the "menu" but the drop to the bottom of the box and the options (like files... etc) are still 'completely' white

    Action performed:

-J' I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the CD player, does not help.

-J' I have tried to uninstall the CD player and re - install Reader 10 (and 11 subsequently), does not help.

    Very much appreciated.

  • Acrobat Reader DC won't save files

WIndows 7 running on a virtual machine VM on Ubuntu 16.04

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 15.017.20053.63404 downloaded today, 7 August 2016

I spent several hours today filling the FBAR report. When I press save button, or Ctrl + s or alt + f, alt + FS, I get an empty window with "Save as" in the upper left corner and a upper-right close button. Repeated tests give nothing. The report must be saved in order to be filed.

    Ideas to save the file?

    Hi paulo65358095,

If you are still having the same problem, please do Edit menu > Preferences > General and uncheck the box 'Show when saving files from online storage '.

Click OK to save the settings and restart the application.

Make sure the application is updated to the latest released patch.

Let us know if it helps.

  • Impossible to download Acrobat Reader

I have a laptop Sony Vaio with windows 7, I probably removed my Acrobat Reader that came with my system by accident, but it seems not as simple as that. When a pdf page is trying to open, it displays a black box , said the invalid image. I went on the Adobe website to download acrobat reader, he won't even be in the game to run or save the download. I tried to download all variants of the Adobe Reader software, I've allowed cookies etc... I don't have any Adobe Reader appears under programs in my Control Panel which makes me feel that I uninstalled it by mistake. A Web site suggested that there may be a problem with the Device Manager and check if problems arose. There were 2 yellow exclamation points on the side of two other devices that had not identifying names or numbers to the correct.the drivers. I've exhausted all the available approaches. Need expert help. Thank you expert, gold star for you if you can solve this problem. Jerry

  • Need to know the instance name of window for Acrobat Reader XI

I try to use a custom web program that launches Adobe Acrobat Reader XI and want to know the instance name for this version of Acrobat Reader window. I updated my version of Acrobat Reader 10.0 and the instance name of window seems to have changed, once again!

This is the story of the instance name of the window for Acrobat Reader in case you don't know what I am referring. I tried all the supposed possible variation of what I expected it to be and all seem to fail. Adobe seems to have changed the name of the instance of the window.
Also another note is that the new name of the server is "ACROVIEWR11" and it is the XI (11) version installed on a 64-bit computer to Windows 7, so who can make a difference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Acrobat Reader 10 - the window instance name = Acrobat
Acrobat Reader 6 & 7 - the window instance name = Adobe Reader
Acrobat Reader 5 - window instance name = Acrobat Reader

  • Acrobat Reader 11.0.02 won't launch

I just did a fresh install of Windows x 64 on my system with just a few programs including Acrobat Reader 11.0.02 (free version)

Install is fine and the icon appears on the desktop and icons of pdf files also change to Acrobat.

The problem is when I try to launch the drive of the desktop icon that does nothing at all. (no timer if loading, no error message, nothing).

Tried to navigate to the C:\Program Files (x 86) installation folder \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader and try the exe it in normal mode and admin, but still nothing.

Repaired via programs and features and also try the cleaning tool, but even once it does not open even.

I tried to access a PDF file online to see if it works even through a web browser, and for this, which is very weird.

Please check if they are installed on your machine or not. Otherwise, please download them from the web and see if that fixes the problem.
