  ArcSoft is a suite of programs to support management. ArcSoft Connect is used to connect online (updates, new goodies etc.). It would be strange if you "Connect" without any of their products, then you want to uninstall those first, if they exist

  I recently installed the 30-day trial of Lightroom 4.3.  I was impressed enough to order the boxed version at retail.   Is there an advantage in the process of uninstallation and re - install with the disk, rather than using the code provided with the version at retail to permanently activate the trial?

  There is no advantage to install Lightroom on the drive that comes in a boxed version.  The trial version is the same program with the function "limiter" on the front of it.  I bought the academic versions of the versions of Lightroom 2, 3 and 4, in box and never used the installation disk.  I always downloaded the latest trial version and used the serial number I got with my box version.  If you install from the disk, you might have to update immediately because Adobe does not release the installation again with each new update discs.  If you just replace your original installation in any case.

  You can't have three activations. It is simply not possible technically. If and when the time comes, just disable you / disconnect is on one of the old systems and install it on the new. If the system goes belly up, you contact support to reset your account. No need to make it more complicated than that and resist it.

  The latest version of the parental control now uses the standard user accounts (logon Windows) as a child in the safety of the family. If you need to know about adding a user to the Windows login with standard privileges, please see this link.

  If you are using MAC:

  1-force Quit the sub process in the same sequence as shown below from Activity Monitor: see, use the monitor activity on your Mac - Apple Support

  • Creative cloud
  • Basic timing & sync to basic support
  • CC library & process CCX
  • Adobe Common Desktop
  • Adobe update daemon
  • After that, everything that said adobe on it do a force quit for her

  2 - right click on the Finder icon, then select the "Go - To" folder. You will get a text box, type in the following command and then press the 'return '. ("Not to be missed ~ symbol")
