Adobe Air update, an error message keeps me to update.

I'm on Windows 8.1 on a two year old computer. Adobe air update an error message comes up saying "an error has occurred. updating the application Try to update again. If the problem persists, contact the author of the application. "And it won't let me access my projects unless I update. I tried to reinstall, but the same error message. Are there workarounds?

Can you please try these steps?

-Start by downloading the latest installer of Adobe AIR https://get.adobe.com/air

- and install the downloaded file

-then try updating Adobe Story. If it still fails, then get the latest Adobe Story of https://story.adobe.com/AIR/AdobeStory.air Installer and install the downloaded file.

It is not broken, just confused. The recipient must save the file and open it in Adobe Reader. Your e-mail application is not using Adobe Reader.

Yes and no it seems that if the file is a .doc or .pdf, that it does not load properly. But if I bring him in a Final Draft format, it works perfectly.

  • Installation of Adobe Air Application Installer error office history

It's really driving me crazy already.

Whenever I try to install the Application from the website of history, it says I have to install Adobe Air. So I click on Install, it shows the progress bar on 100%, then an error window. The header of the window reads "Adobe AIR installer" and the main section of the window has "couldn't write the application on the hard drive. Please check that the disk is available and try again. "- there's a retry and cancel. Retry does it all again with the same results.

No, I had not previous versions of Adobe Air. So I tried to install direct AIR from the Adobe website, and he moved very well. So I return to the page Web Story and try to reinstall the Desktop Application and the exact same game events as described above occurs. I uninstalled the installation of AIR, tried again, same result.

I previously had Production Premium CS3 and installed UPGRADING Production Premium CS5. All the programs work like a charm!

I'm on Windows 7 64-bit with 208 GB free on my C drive, as well as more than 500 free gig over two other disks. 8 gig memory and two video cards Nvidia Rechaudia FX 3500 (if that matters at all). Full administrator rights to the PC, without this is limited in any way.

A quick search on Google shows many other people having the same problem, just not known miracle I found!

    Help!

PS - I have a picture of the error message, but the insert image link is grayed out and won't let me add anything to this post.

    Hello

We are sorry that you are facing this problem.

Could you please try it one more time with an extra step of refresh the page of history after the installation of AIR.

    ...

So I tried to install direct AIR from the Adobe website, and he moved very well. So I return to the Web Story page (REFRESH the page of history here) and try to reinstall the Desktop Application and the exact same game events as described above occurs. I uninstalled the installation of AIR, tried again, same result.

    ....

History of the controls for AIR install status on the machine at the time of the launch. So, if the application was launched first, and then the AIR installed, the application won't know the update AIR install status. As a result, refresh the page of history should work. Another way would be to install the soft AIR first and then launch the application.

Thank you for reporting the problem and we'll work on fixing it soon.

In case still face you any problem, feel free to post back: sunny at adobe dot com.

    Kind regards

  • Cannot install Adobe Reader 9.3 Error Message 1402

I made several attempts to download the Adobe Reader updates, but still receive the Error Message 1402 every time.  I have recently deleted adobe all products from my computer and reinstalled each successfully, with the exception of Adobe Reader 9.3.

I can't get this download and installation due to receive Error 1402: could not open key.  I am the administrator on this computer, and no one else uses or has anyone used except me.

Unfortunately, the article above applies to Windows XP and Windows 2000, not Windows Vista.  But this led me to the following:

Here is an article on how to change the permissions on the key of Vista (and XP but skip this part):http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405573.html#OnWindowsVista.  Although for another Adobe product, the rules relating to the modification of permissions are the same.  I am sure that your error message included more than you posted - it would have included also the key to the problem.  That's what you need to find the section of the registry to change.  Once the change is complete, you must have permissions and should be able to install.  To install a right-click on the executable setup file downloaded and click Run as administrator.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

I solved this problem and am running.

I realized at some point a year ago or so, I did try and migrate directly into CS3 from my other laptop and it would not run on AIr. I don't sue him right there. I tried to uninstall all files with the Adobe uninstaller utility, but nothing happened. So I just trashed all records. I also ran CS5 Cleaner, on the traces of CS3 just for the hell of it.

Tried again to install directly from the disc via cd player external and viola, work like its supposed to. I suspect all the downloads that I had set earlier would have worked had I trashed all the CS3 files earlier on the airwaves. Thank you.

  • Satellite A305 - error message keep appearing from

    Hello, I have a Satellite A305-S6857 laptop
A few days ago to XP downgrade Vista. It worked well but suddenly yesterday when I restart windows,.

    * the system has recovered from a mistake of the serosa

A log of this error has been created

For more information about this error, click here * so I clicked and it said

    error signature
    BCCode: 1000007e BCP1: C0000005 BCP2: BA430F76 BCP3: BA513C94
    BCP4: BA513990 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 3_0 product: 256_1

So I simply ignored, did cancel but it keep poping up and I made reports but it did not work either.
So I restart again but still the same. Every time I have restart this pop-up.

So I googled on this topic and I've done something and I think after I did uninstall and reinstall a driver GMA an another error message too. It says * the Publisher could not be verified. are you sure you want to run this software? * and I say yes, he shows me another one same thing 3times.

It's really annoying and after that I got a few messages pop up, my computer has become slow and sometimes it stopped

    help me guys...

    > He says that the Publisher could not be verified. are you sure you want to run this software?
Maybe something wrong with the graphics card driver or other software which is not certified by Microsoft

Did you use some third-party software, tools and 3rd applications?
Have you installed the drivers from Toshiba or other websites of third 3rd page?

Check the msconfig-> Start up tab and take a look at the list of background processes.
If there are some applications that are not known to you, then turn it off.

In the worst cases, you need to reinstall the OS.
