  So I have a PowerMac G4... Yes old enough. Well its been all this time working and I like it a lot.

  But today, it is consumed only until the Apple logo. and nothing else happens. Ive done some methods to try to get it working again. He acknowledged that the HARD drive is there and I can select. But that's about it.

  Dug my old fourth generation iPod clickwheel, A1059 is the model number, I think. I thought to pay to get handed iPod, but not if it means replace every part of it, but the case and the screen (they are both very good).

  I thought that the battery could be shot, but I put it on the original FireWire charger for a few hours. It displays the Apple logo on the screen. I tried to do a reset, as described in the documentation of support here online, but now the Apple logo is displayed for eight seconds, the screen goes out for a second and then the Apple logo will appear again. This cycle continued for an hour or two.

  I'm happy to hear that you were able to get out the iPod in an attempt to be able to use again.  It is certainly a good sign if it was allowing you to load, but now we have to take a look and see why it seems to be in an endless loop with the Apple logo, then restarting.  When you have made zeroing in supporting documents, he was trying to put it in disk mode?
