Authorware Player Position on the screen

Hello

I'm working on a project of Authorware that uses multiple Authorware files that are linked together. When you decide how to position this project on the screen that I have encountered some problems. I don't know how to Center a project on the screen of the user by using the document properties option in Authorware. Is there a method that I can program the Authorware file to "remember" the position of the window (for example if the user drags over one side of the screen) when switching between Authorware files? The Authorware Player will move the window to the center of the screen (if this option is selected) or the location of the window of the reader for this file when it was published in Authorware, opening a new Authorware file. Ideally, I'd like that the project to focus on the screen when the project is opened, so don't forget to the position of the display user-defined as it jumps back between Authorware files.

Thanks to tips for any suggestion or someone can give me advice.

You can query WindowLeft and WindowTop to know the current position. You
can use MoveWindow to move the window on the screen. You can pass
variables between the files in the jump command.

Should be all you need...

      Note

To lock the taskbar into place, right-click an empty space in the task bar, then click on lock the taskbar, so that the box is displayed.

    • Click on an empty space on the taskbar, and then hold down the mouse button, dragging the taskbar to one of the four sides of the office. Once the taskbar where you want, release the mouse button.

  • Palm Treo Pro trouble: Windows media player passes each time the screen saver updated

The treo Pro is an excellent application of low power consumption screensaver that displays date, time and info missed calls. However, the disappointment is that when you listen to music while in screen saver mode, windows media player ignores all the minutes when the clock on the screen saver updates / refreshes.

Since the clock updates every minute, the player skips a beat with unerring accuracy.

It's the solution to this problem. Please, do not respond to a 'solution' to disable the screen saver. I who have already tested and am aware of it. I don't want to disable the default screen saver.

Agree. I discovered that letting Windows media player running on the screen prevents the screen saver from kicking in (which she does if the phone is on the screen today). The screen always shows the player running but will drive according to the configuration.

With that, the problem is solved when I play music in a car, but it will be a pain when walking or jogging.

So I guess the only solution is to disable the screen saver with a single operation... desire, I had an app for that!

  • The screen upside - down Satellite A110

I bought a Satellite A110-159 and I am very happy with it so far, but happened Friday last something weird. After coming out of hibernation, my laptopscreen was backwards. I could have pressed some keys before that happened, but if so, I so unconsiously made I do not remember. Could you please help me in this problem because it is not ideal to work on it;).

You certainly pressed accidentally a few keys that would change the position of the screen of laptop computers.

The combination of keys depends on the graphics card that is installed in the laptop.
It seems that the Satellite A110-159 has been delivered with the Intel GPU.

In this case, you should check if you can change the screen using the combination like CTRL + ALT and upward or to the LEFT or DOWN or RIGHT

Usually the display position can also be changed in the properties of the graphics card-> some where in the settings advanced

Is it possible to 'say' an app to open at a certain position on the screen. That is to say that I love my calculator to be always down, but it opens up on the left.

    See you soon

    Hello PaulGibbs,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.

This happens with all of your applications, or just calculator?

Windows stores the location where you close your application and opens the next time in this place. However, there are third party software that may interfere with this process.

Try to perform a clean boot:

Step 1: Perform a clean boot

Note If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    ·          Log the computer by using an account with administrator rights.

    ·          Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    ·          On the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    ·          Under the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.

Note Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    ·          Click OK and then click on restart.

Step 2: Enable half the services

    ·          Follow steps 1a and 1B to start the System Configuration utility.

    ·          Click the Services tab, and then click to select the skin all the Microsoft services checkbox.

    ·          Click to select half of the check boxes in the Service list.

    ·          Click OK and then click on restart.

Step 3: Determine whether the problem returns

If the problem persists, repeat steps 1 and 2. In step 2, click to clear half of the check boxes that you have initially enabled in the Service list.

If the problem does not occur, repeat steps 1 and 2. In step 2, select only half of the remaining check boxes that are cleared in the Service list. Repeat these steps until you have selected all the check boxes.

If only one service is selected in the list of services, and you the problem persists, the service selected the cause of the problem. Go to step 6. If no service is causing this problem, go to step 4.

Step 4: Enable half of the startup items

Perform a clean boot by repeating step 1.

Click the Startup tab, and then click to select half of the check boxes in the startup item list.

Click OK and then click on restart.

Step 5: Determine whether the problem returns

If the problem persists, repeat steps 1 and 4. In step 4, click to clear half of the check boxes that you have originally selected in the startup item list.

If the problem does not occur, repeat steps 1 and 4. In step 4, select only half of the remaining check boxes that are cleared in the startup item list. Repeat these steps until you have selected all the check boxes.

If only one startup item is selected in the startup item list, and you still experience the problem, start selected in the list element is the service that is causing the problem. Go to step 6.

If no startup item causes this problem, a Microsoft service most likely the cause of the problem. To determine which Microsoft service may be causing the problem, repeat step 1 and step 2 without selecting the hide all Microsoft services check box in each step.

    Step 6: Resolve the problem

After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.

Step 7: Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to restart restart the computer to start as usual:

    ·          Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    ·          On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    ·          When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.Collapse this includes this image
