Best way to import multiple sequences

I use CS 6.   I edited a marriage which I've separated into body of ten sequences.  I would like to know the meathod recommended for these ten sequences in the still and their integration in a movie.  Each sequence is his own screenplay in yet?  Should I breed all clips in a timeline yet?  Should I breed all the sequences in the body, and then simply import a sequence in enora?

Nest sequences in a single master sequence in Premiere Pro, then export using a preset MPEG2-DVD.

  • Best way to import images

I'm looking for the best way to import pictures to my Mac. I currently use iMovie to import my images, because I come from the end of 'consumers users', but I'm looking for more professional way.

All of my cameras use SD cards and put all the images in a folder/quicktime file called "PRIVATE". It's all my research, AVCHD. When you import into iMovie, it seems what I push in 60 fps down to 29.97, that's why I was looking for another way. -Another question is also, when I import iMovie, which makes the 'Mac' images only until his change, that sucks. I need a good way to import images in case I ever need to use a Windows machine. iMovie puts the icon (AIC) on the files.

One of the cameras with which the footage was shot was a JVC GZ-HM35BUSD. (Some cheap Wal-Mart camcorder), but the other (same AVCHD Formate) images were shot using a really expensive sony camcorder. ($600). (Not sure of the name)

    Thank you

    David

I have directly from AVCHD editing all the time and it works fine for me on several systems, including an older macbook pro. I suggest avoiding if possible the transcoding. It takes a lot of time and if you don't do this right, you could surcompresse and a generational loss.

I would not go and delete unused items after I'm done editing, just to save space. Also, if it's projects, I don't care, I sometimes export final movie into something easily playable outside the Organization (like mov or mp4) and then delete all the media source. This is NOT recommended if you work in a professional manner. In this case, you must check in all. But for prosumers, there may be a lot of projects where you just want to put together a quick edit and then export it as a final movie for viewing online or elsewhere. In this case, you cannot hold on to all your layer to always source footage.

It really varies by user, but like I said, if you work professionally, or aspiring to, you'll need a way to archive and back up these archives. If you work from the band, then comes the labelling and store the tapes are an acceptable backup for the media associated with a certain project (of course, you will still need to save and save the project itself). But if you work from tapeless formats, then you will need several hard drives with lots of space, archive and everything back up. The good news is that hard drives get less expensive, bigger and stronger all the time. I had two lacie 1 TB hd for a few years now with zero problems (before there 2 lacie 500 GB for many years, also with 0 problems). But I'm still parnaoid that #1 will go while #2 is still in the Act of saving. Or they'll both go at the same time. Ouch.

  • Best way to import text Microsoft Word?

Newbie question. I was importing Microsoft Word text using the Clipboard. In other words, I'm going to open up Microsoft Word, open my document, all select, copy and then go to InDesign and paste. InDesign me give a block of text with my text and I just resize the columns. The text is available in all weird, and I have to Stylize, of course. Sometimes I get some junk as nonbreaking characters and other hidden characters that screw me until I tell me what happens. My question is: what is the best way to import Microsoft Word text that will introduce mistakes least? Thank you.

Much better way to do this is to save your text as Doc, Docx or RTF. And use the file > command place in indesign to bring it. And if you check the Import Options in the same window where you choose a file, you can decide how you want to place your text - formatted, unformatted etc...

  • What is the best way to import and export images from the 5 d Mark II?

    Hello

I have just finished what I plan my first masterpiece of shooting film.  Shot on the Canon 5 d (1080 p, 24 fps), and the film looks amazing.  Now, I'm ready to start editing and now use creating lately, but I still have to figure out the proper conduct.  I want to know the best way to keep the resolution before I dive into this project.

    My questions:

    (1) what is the best way to start a new project and import the images without having to make while editing, in order to keep all the resolution and the originality of the source footage?

    (2) what is the best way / codec / format to export these images even once done editing to maintain than crisp 1080 p for which the 5 d is therefore counted?

    (3) what is the best way / codec / format for import and export / rendering between the first and after effects?  I speak especially of Visual effects and color correction.  I also a few sequences of 30 images per second that I intend to slow down in AE and then import into first.

I know that it's wide enough, but as a solo Director I really need advice from someone.  Rarely, I finished my films with the same look crispy as images.  I need help of pipeline and really appreciate it!

  • Best way to import video files into iMovie 10.0.8 of the Sony AS100v

Best way to imort videos without losing quality. My operating system is Yosemite 10.10.3

This device is not listed as compatible with iMovie 10 (iMovie support cameras - Apple Support)

so, you will probably need to remove the SD card in the device and plug it into an SD card reader (if there is not one already built-in to your Mac).  You can then import the clips here.  XAVC-S format used by the camera is supported by the latest version of iMovie (10.1.2) that requires El Capitan.  I'm not sure whether 10.0.8 done.  If this isn't the case, Google search will reveal a number of apps that claim to do a conversion.

  • The best way to channel multiple steps using NI USB 6009?

I'm new to labview and I am trying to acquire multiple voltages of several channels and spread them out on a chart. It seems impossible to do it at the same time since the NI USB 6009 has only one pair of ADC.

The only way I ever came with is to use daq assistant to support significant tensions one by one and then make it loop awhile, but y at - it any delay during the move between channels?

And there at - it of best ways to acquire data from multiple channels?

If you have specified multiple channels (i.e. Dev1 / ai0:ai3) with a single DAQ Assistant, then this is the right method. The inexpensive device has no simultaneous inputs, so you will have to live with the slight delay of channel inter.

  • Best way to import goods from Illustrator to animate and lot to day?

My brother and I are working on an animation. I create drawings in Illustrator, and he creates animation to animate in CC. He needs to start the animation already, so I'm over him unfinished images, I intend to update several times throughout the project (Polish, redefine the colors,...). We are talking about hundreds of image assets. What would be the best way to implement, so we don't have to export and import each image manually?

So far, everything I can think of creates all assets as the png. In this way he could-automatic update images easily (provide the size/Center does not change). But we would like to explore the possibility of retaining as well as vectors. Is there an easy way to import/export for this?

If we decided to go with png, after all, and we have created big enough assets for all purposes, is there a downside? Would there be a loss of quality when the rotation and scale, rather than use vectors?

    Thank you!

  • What is the best way to select multiple tracks?

So, imagine that you have a sequence like this:

    Unselected.png

And you want to accomplish the following selection:

    Selected.png

What is the best way to do that has no shift + selection 12 times? I had FCP where I could click the top left and then shift + click on the lower right and get a selection of range in this way. But obviously it works differently in first. If I wanted to include A5 - 7 in the selection, I could do just a selection rectangle, but someone at - it a convenient way to select several clips landlocked like that?

The fastest way I can think to do is to temporarily make the slightly shorter left selected top clip so that it has an ATM next to him, then use your mouse to drag and drop around all clips. You must again extend the left top clip again after the fact. Alternatively, you could catch the entire section, then shift select the ones that you don't need. In addition, shift-make drag a marquee selection that includes selected clips deselects them.

  • Best way to manage multiple windows help

    Hi all:

I work with X 5 to create help for a large modular application. I have a single aid project, but want to deliver content for help only for the specific modules used by clients. I am attemtping to create multiple windows help with a window main containing helps for deliverables standard and other windows containing help for specific modules. What is the best way to achieve this using a single project. Or do I have to maintain several projects?

I tried to use custom windows, but there are some limitations. I created a new file for a custom hhc window manually and it works fine. But I can't open the custom window by clicking on a book in the table of contents (which are what I want) the main window, but can do so by clicking on a subject. Also, I can't assign topics by separate default for each custom window. In addition, when I click a hyperlink in a custom window that links to a topic in the main window, the theme of the main window display in the custom window but it is not in the table of contents of the custom window, it's awkward.

    Help, please!
    Romeo Coutinho

From the point of view of the user a merged set of help files is probably the best solution. Use global windows of the comprehensive help system is displayed in a window and displays only the topics for modules installed (if you can get your installation meets your wishes people that is ;-)).

Several projects handling is more complicated to manage a large. Each help topic only stops in a single project; If you want to create or update the help for the XYZ_1 module, you open the project XYZ_1. If you want to change something in the master project, you open the master project. After the edition of a project, you simply compile this module and nothing else.

The only thing you need to learn are the peculiarities of the help compiler about merged projects. See http://www.helpware.net/htmlhelp/how_to_merge.htm for a good description of these folds.

  • What is the best way to import my address and e-mail of Pegasus in Thunderbird?

I use Windows 7 x 64. I have a number of files and many electronic addresses in the Pegasus Mail client. I'm looking to migrate to Thunderbird. Can you tell me the best way to move my files to Thunderbird?

    Thank you
    Allen Hill

For your address books, can export you to a format such as CSV?

To move e-mail messages, the cleaner is to use the IMAP protocol. Then your new client look just the same files you had in Pegasus.

Unfortunately, email clients tend to use their own systems of storage of e-mail owner and there is no commonly used standards that could help to transfer between clients. If you can export files in mbox format, then Thunderbird can use.

  • workflow: import multiple sequences of images to PP.

I have a real problem because of my laziness and non-proffesionality. I looked on similar questions on this forum, but it seems to be complicated, as I had imagined. I have 50 different folders with image sequences that should make a 50 clips. Is it possible to make the process faster that paste each image sequence in another sequence? Thank you. You can just give me a hint if you wish. I'll remember it more effective. (Sorry for my English)

You can import these JPEG files as a "sequence of images.

You must import the sequence of pictures in each folder individually.

You can keep all the JPEG files in a single folder and import a sequence of single Image. (Be careful with file names)

  • Best way to import iPhone 4 video in first Pro CS5 - settings for the import of new "preset sequence?

Shooting video with my iPhone 4 (ATT version) and try to import the file into Premiere Pro CS5 (5.0.3) running on Macintosh OS 10.6.6.

The problem is that I am just guessing on how to import sequences, and the result is I'm getting artifacts of movement and generally lower quality.  I use iMovie 11 my basis for comparison.   Not surprisingly, iMovie 11 imports since iPhone beautifully, but when I looked around, inside the properties, there is not much to see.

Tips for the smooth search and * lossless * import/ingest footage in PPro CS5 iphone4.

You import it. that's all. First will (or should) use the file in native mode, so no need to do anything out of the ordinary.

To create a sequence for it, simply one of the clips slide the button new item at the bottom of the project Panel. a new sequence will be created that matches the sequence. Edit now...

  • Best way to import all of the objects located on a new master repository repository work

    Hello

We have two separate master repositories, one for all repositories of development work (development, ST, UAT, IAT) and one for Production.

What would be the best approach to export and import all the objects from the Dev repository in the repository of Prod work located on the master repository Prod.

Internal ID of all repositories of work are different.

We have tried to put everything in a solution and that export, but it does not work when we tried to import it.

Successfully, we have exported and imported a simple scenario, but it is not very practical because we have more than 500 scenarios.

    Any suggestions welcome,

    Thank you

    NIC

I have the same setup. I found it useful to group my scripts into folders and you can then export the records themselves, rather than the individual scenarios.  Import records in the same way that you would incorporate a scenario.  This means that I have only export/import of the 4 elements rather than 300.
