Bridge CS5 renames files in HTML Web Gallery

When you create a HTML Web Gallery (using the 'Lightroom' model), Bridge CS5 renames thumbs and large images at an arbitrary number.  Legend says that the name of the original file, but the image has a new name.  This is problematic, because my customers are going to right click on images selected from my galleries to record and transmit for approval, but the file name is not identical to the original.

For example: VLNK0321.jpg becomes _4856316150.jpg.  (In preferences/output, "Convert multibyte Full ASCII file names" is not checked.)

Is it possible to fix this bit (for me - BIG) problem?

Solved!

This works for Windows.  I guess that the Mac solution is similar. William Zauscher accessories to help find an answer.

I don't take no responsibliity for the damage caused to your computer, Photoshop or bridge...

In Windows, navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CS5 Extensions\Adobe out Module\mediagallery\resources\scripts

In the file named "galleryCreator.jsxinc" replace the lines:

AOM. AmgGalleryCreator.createUniqueFileName = function (filePath, jpgFile, modecreation)
{
var alteredName;
While (true)
{
alteredName = "_";
for (var i = 0; i)<10;>
{
alteredName += Math.floor (Math.random () * 10);
}
alteredName += ".jpg";
var f = new File (filePath + alteredName);
If (! f.exists)
break;
}
Return alteredName;
}

.. .with the following:

AOM. AmgGalleryCreator.createUniqueFileName = function (filePath, jpgFile, modecreation)

{

var alteredName;

While (true)

{

alteredName = "_";

alteredName += jpgFile += ".jpg";

var f = new File (filePath + alteredName);

If (! f.exists)

break;

}

Return alteredName;

}

You can copy and paste the above.  Just save a version of the original file somewhere in the case of screwups...

See you soon!

  • Web Gallery: Select label used for populte text in html code

    I use the integrated model of LR HTML web gallery.  It is great and very customizable and has saved me countless hours of work - so thank you.

    My model is customized such that I have show image 'description' (or label in the jargon of the LR model) below the image and therefore am forced to use the selection of "Caption" under the labels.

    No matter what metadata I selects to associate with the legend tag - this label is not reproduced in the html code in the text.

    If I check the box for title label, it does not have the text in the resulting html code but my description of the image then appears above the image on the web page - I need it below.

    Is there something that I am missing?

    An item can be added to allow one to select the label is used to fill the text?  Better yet, if only a single label is selected, then this label should by default and appear as text.

    You can replace alt = "" $image.metadata.description "property in the file detail.html inside the gallery."

  • CS6 Mac - how to disable metadata to show in a web gallery?

    Someone at - it a way to stop the metadata to display on my screen image main web gallery? I am trying to create a simple html web gallery of images of output module bridge. Thumbnails look ok, but when I click on one and get the image enlarged, at the bottom of the page it displays all kinds of info that I don't want to show!

    It doesn't seem to be in any way of disabling.

    I'm on a mac 10.9.5, Bridge CS6

    Your help is appreciated.

    Jonathan

    You have selected files that have no metadata. What you can do is select the files you want and create new JPG using 'Save to hard drive' in the export Panel.

    If you want full documents to the format make sure "Always rendered image full size" is checked and "Metadata of origin include" is unchecked.

    These new files can then be used in the bridge output module, and there is no metadata.

  • How do I change name of file for HTML single image pages in the web gallery for LR 3

    Hello

    I would like to change the file name by default for HTML pages produced by Lightroom 3 in the web gallery. Specifically, I would like to withdraw the name of HTML in the 'great' chain file so it exactly corresponds to image file.

    Specifically, the default URL is like this:

    http://www.mysite.com/content/_c_EMT2146_large.html

    and I wish it were like that

    http://www.mysite.com/content/_c_EMT2146.html

    I guess that there is a way to make this change by using model editors, but I can't understand it.

    Thank you

    On Mac LR is provided as a package. You must Show Package in the Finder, and then work down to:

    \Contents\Plugins\Web.lrmodule\Contents\Resources\Galleries.

  • Bridge CS5 in 64-bit Windows 7 - drop photo preview of Web Gallery

    Is there a limit to how many photos web gallery will display?  I've created a web gallery and then started again according to the instructions I've read that I should put the TITLE on each photo.  Once I put the title, 24 photos that allows to display, only 20 now display.

    Can someone explain why this is happening?  I have not yet to the point of trying to incorporate into my site yet.  Maybe bridge is not the best tool to use?

    Thanks to anyone who can offer any indication as to why this happens.

    Daisey

    To keep the space bridge displays all files selected in the preview.  But they will appear in the saved file.

  • Where past Bridge CS5 Web Photo Gallery?

    When I first installed Adobe Design Premium CS5 on my Windows PC, I was able to use the bridge Web Photo Gallery. Now, it's just gone. I click on the production and the right panel, where the options of Web Gallery was supposed to appear, it's just empty. How can I get it back? Thank you.

    Resetting Bridge preferences frequently will fix problems like this.  Bridge to close and then restart bridge and immediately, press Ctrl + Alt + shift until the dialogue box reset settings.  You should see three options: preferences Reset, reset Standard workspaces and purge entire thumbnail Cache.  Select the first and then click OK. If it does not try to select the first two options.

  • Bridge Web Gallery - cannot display in the browser

    I have a problem creating a web gallery in Bridge CS6 for Windows.  In the output tab, I selected the option Web Gallery to create a photo slideshow. I tried to save the web gallery and opens the index file in Internet Explorer without any result.  In Chrome I just get a spinning wheel.  I also tried the "Preview in browser" option in the tab output, but which does not work either.  I tried a number of different model - standard, film, slide show options, etc., but none of them work.

    Strange thing is that if I open the index file in Dreamweaver, I can slide show in live view.

    Any idea would be appreciated...

    Hi all

    The parameters of a security update applied in the recent Flash Player 23 release effects Flash content played from the local file system, using the web browser. Therefore, for the web gallery preview in the browser, you must add the location where web galleries are generated to the list of trusted locations in the Flash Player security settings.

    Preview in the browser is supported in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari web browsers.

    Workaround

    1. Go to the Flash Player Settings Manager:

      1. (Windows) Control Panel > Flash Player
      2. (macOS) System preferences > Flash Player
    2. In the Flash Player Settings Manager dialog box, select the Advanced tab.
    3. In the developer tools section, click on the trusted site settings.
    4. Click on Add.
    5. Add the location to the following folder:
      1. (Windows) \Users\[user name] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CC 2017\Adobe out Module\MediaGallery
      2. (macOS) Users / [username] / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC 2017 / Adobe Output Module/MediaGallery
    6. Click on confirm.
    7. Once you've added the folder Media Gallery to trusted locations, navigate to the following folder, and then double-click index.html to preview:
      1. (Windows) [ Name of \Users\[user] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge output 2017\Adobe Module\MediaGallery\previewInBrowser1\index.html CC
      2. (macOS) Users / [user name] / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC 2017 / Adobe Output Module/MediaGallery/previewInBrowser1/index.html
    8. Create a bookmark in your browser to reload the content after clicking Preview in browser in the Adobe Output Module.

  • Bridge CS4 output only 10 Images to the Web Gallery

    Hi all

    I, bridge, exit workspace, the 14 pictures selected out of the web gallery and only the first 10 images are processed. No idea why? It is perhaps as simple as a setting in preferences? Thank you so much in advance.

    If you are referring to what happens when you click "Preview in browser", then Yes, the output includes only the first ten images.

    To see a preview of the full Web Gallery before you download, you must generate the Web Gallery, and then display it by double-clicking on the "index.html" file that will open in your default browser.

  • Bridge output Module - no Web Gallery

    I installed the version 6.3 of the ADM on bridge CC 2015 and still cannot produce anything with the Web Gallery.

    Installed output Module and tried to create a web gallery. Pictures selected, went with the selections by default and tried Preview in the browser. Safari offers a blank page. Tried other models Web, same thing, until I have try the HTML that gives me something on the page but the thumbnails are empty. I click on one, and Safari crashes.

    Hi Dale,

    It is a known issue and we are working on a solution. In the meantime, if you could try the workaround mentioned below.

    Please, put yourself in the following folder and double-click index.html to preview:

    Mac OS:

    • In the Finder, navigate to the users / [user name] / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC/Adobe Output Module/MediaGallery/previewInBrowser1/index.html

    Create a bookmark in your browser to reload the content after clicking Preview in the browser in the Adobe Output Module.

    Kind regards

  • Can bridge web gallery with ability to watch one/printing PDF for my clients?

    Help, please!  I have about 100 PDF files that my clients need to browse and print. Files updated a lot and clients should be able to browse the collection and choose and download the PDF files they need.

    I installed the bridge output Module.  The Web Gallery module is great, but it allows you to view images and slideshow functions.  It's very good for my customers to navigate and find what they are looking for, but the bridge output Module generates only small files jpg of the original PDF files.

    Is it possible to add a "Download" function which a customer can click on the slide, or maybe a link 'Download' next to the slide, in order access the original PDF for only display in its own window browser or to download (depending on the browser settings of the client in how to deal with the files PDF.  Basically, how the slide a link to the PDF of origin on the server.  Currently, bridge Web Gallery output module generates versions jpg only PDF files, as already said above).

    Thanks for any help!

    Got answer: Dropbox.com does superbly.

  • Incorporation of a Web Gallery in a HTML with a Spry menu

    I'm trying to integrate a web gallery, I created in Bridge in a web page that has a bar of menus spry as part of its code. I was unable to see the Gallery on the page and removed the html code associated with the gallery and trying to start over.

    Somewhere along the way, I started getting error messages about the spry menu. Although the menu continues to work, I saw the message in Dreamweaver which is unusual.

    This prompted me to wonder if the code for the web gallery creation interfere in any way with the spry menu.

    I don't want to try once again to incorporate found out about it. I fortunately had my documents backups in time machine and more no error messages appear.

    Thank you.

    This question in the DreamWeaver forum instead. This is the forum to bridge.

  • Try to incorporate GoLive page bridge web gallery

    So, any thoughts are welcome. I'm updating my GoLive site with a web gallery in bridge. I saw a tutorial or two about do in DW, but not my beloved GoLive. All wisdom would be so appreciated!

    DW tutorials probably apply to GoLive as well. You will need to get their hands dirty with HTML to mix web pages.

  • Do not click on old iPhoto library in Bridge CS5. It converts images of the .pkg file

    Hi fellow users. I'm using Snow Leopard 10.6.4 Adbobe CS5 Bridge and iPhoto 8.1.2.

    I have multiple iPhoto libraries stored in the folder my pictures. If I click on an iPhoto library somewhat current bridge, iPhoto lance and (according to the version of iPhoto package), displays the photo library in iPhoto.

    WARNING WARNING WARNING: Do not THROW OLD iPHOTO LIBRARIES FROM BRIDGE CS5

    If I click on an OLD deck of iPhoto from the bridge, he launched iPhoto but iPhoto doesn't display the library.

    What happens next is bad. Somehow the entire 'Images' folder is now considered by the dysfunctional finder as an iPhoto library or a "package". I had two happen.

    ---------

    The fix. From a finder window, you can right click on the photos icon and 'display the contents of the package. Drag the contents to a new folder. Remove the package of photos. If you wish, rename the new folder "Images". You may help iPhoto find your library again the next time that you open it. You will not be able to pass the package of photos to the Recycle Bin without loggin as user root (Apple can guide you through this).

    Good luck and be warned.

    -Go Steelers

    What happens next is bad. Somehow the entire 'Images' folder is now regarded by

    the dysfunctional finder as an iPhoto library or a "package". I had

    both occur.

    As I don't have a single iPhoto Library I can see the icon and when clicked

    It opens iPhoto forward.

    I don't have much experience with iPhoto and don't like the way you work

    with a library in a package hidden instead of a folder structure opened as

    Bridge of fact.

    Do not understand what you mean with the old library. If you rename the previous

    versions of the iPhoto library or do create you several libraries for different

    projects?

    Anyway, as Lao Tai already said, iPhoto library is a package and therefore

    not supposed to see photos in Bridge.

    Assuming that you have a back up of libraries you can replace without

    a lot of damage but you can first check if you can open the file

    See the contents of the package.

    In the Finder, select the file that you describe and right of the mouse and then click

    choose show package contents from the context menu.

    Do this also with your current library and place them side by side

    Compare the differences.

    The safest way to get your originals is in the same way, choose view

    content and find the "originals" folder

    Copy (if you are still able to use iPhoto, if for some reason any one)

    do) this content to the new folders in the finder (of course outside of the)

    the contents of the iPhoto library) and after doing so point bridge to

    These folders to use images in Bridge and Psalm
