  According to the documentation and specifications, if you use SMF connection cables, you can connect the two transceivers LX4 together without attenuators or mode of conditioning of the connection cables. Maximum transmission power (-0.5dBm) specifications the LX4 transceiver equals entry specifying the maximum receiver (-0.5dBm).

  The use of the LX4 transceiver for this application of short distance is a very expensive solution. The SX on MMF would be more economical.

  Yes, you must install Acrobat Pro application to edit PDF files. Reader is a different application and you cannot edit PDF files in that.

  You must have accidentally moved. Click with the right button on the taskbar (this is the bar where is the Start Menu) and make sure that 'Lock the taskbar' is disabled.   It is based on the expected results.  A VGA splitter will give you two monitors but they will display the same image.  If the expected result is two different pictures, maybe something like this will do;
