Cannot move a PDF file in a mail Outlook 2016 message in Acrobat DC?

This seems quite strange.

We would just drag a file attachment contained in e-mail in Acrobat as a new tab or in an existing PDF... However, when you try to drag it won't work.

If you save the document to the desktop, then do it, it will work properly.

How is - a workaround?

I would like to inform that there is no possible way to open the file by dragging the attachment to the application.

Its due to the design of the interface, you can open the file by double-clicking on it & after download of e-mail.

    The default "Save as" dialog Acrobat DC is different from the dialogue box you had in earlier versions of Acrobat, it also allows you to record in the clouds and previous locations that you saved the files. It is possible that when Acrobat tries to connect to the 'cloud', it runs into problems. You can try to disable this feature to see if this brings your backup in the back of the box: open Acrobat Edit menu access-> Preferences, then go to the "General" category and uncheck "show the online storage when you save files:

    Sara, problem solved.  FYI-I went to Google tool bar/internet reception/security/choose medium security / clicked on allow reliable messaging users / restarted the computer and success!  Put finely pfd to download and print.  I tried this before but did restart.   Please provide this information to all users of Adobe Reader XI.     Hi all

    I got the solution. I was unable to read .pdf files because the FTP adapter send files just by changing the extension of .xml to .pdf .txt is the reason why it was not readable.

    We had to write a java code to convert the .xml file .pdf and then PAA to the FTP adapter.

    uninstall any version of acrobat is installed.

    clean by Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs

    Restart your computer.

    delete all to delete pdf files.

    If this fails, it is a problem of ms.  If this attempt is successful, then reinstall your acrobat.

    Without doubt, the problem of trying to mix new software (well, not old, not sure why you migrate to Acrobat X when it's already obsolete), with very old software indeed. PDF 1.6 was published 11 years ago. I realize, this may not help, but it may explain why there isn't an option for you.

    I can't open PDF files in my Outlook email more.  My husband gets his colonies to work via e-mail and for 3 years now I have been open the colonies without problem.  This week, I can't open the file.  I get this error:

    Well, I thought it was always open in Word!  Anyway, it is not the drive.  I Sumatra and I can still open the other PDF files.  I even changed my readers just to check and get the same message.  I wrote to Outlook and they said it is not their problem and to post here in the Microsoft Community.  It's very frustrating because we need to see those files.  If she is not Outlook or the PDF reader, what could be the problem?  Thank you!

    It is a Safari problem

    Go to: Mac/HD/Library/Internet Plugins

    Trash the files AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin

    Empty the trash.

    Relaunch Safari and you can download a PDF file without error.

    (I can create a PDF from jpg files... but I never really have a need to do this...)

    I uninstalled Adobe Professional by using the uninstall program (then emptied the trash and restart), then reinstalled Adobe Professional from disk (and restarted).  After the reinstallation, I always get the same problems, even if I get no error message until Adobe Professional updates from 9.0 to 9.2.  Before the upgrade Adobe, v9.0 attempts to print to pdf just act as the pdf is created (no error message), but I do not get a backup fast, nor is a new pdf no matter where the document is located.
