  The default "Save as" dialog Acrobat DC is different from the dialogue box you had in earlier versions of Acrobat, it also allows you to record in the clouds and previous locations that you saved the files. It is possible that when Acrobat tries to connect to the 'cloud', it runs into problems.   You could have chosen 16 bit by bit depth when importing file in the ACR dialog box editor. After you open the file, select it click on Image-> Mode and click on 8-bit. Now hit-> file save as and you should see JPEG from the drop file formats.

  I changed this line, but the issue could not be resolved.

  I discovered that VM Ware Converter 5.5 can handle the coversion to lesser versions VM and my ESX Server 5.5 can now save the converted virtual machine.

  I could also convert the virtual VM Ware Player format machine. VM Ware Player can handle too.

• Cannot save Firefox .pdf files

  I have problems with registration of .pdf files from certain sites (ex: Time Warner Cable) with Firefox. When I click on view or save the .pdf, Firefox opens a new window and I can see the document. However, sometimes it doesn't let me save it. • Cannot save the Lightroom files after editing in Photoshop CC (or they are invisible).

  When I export a file from Photoshop CC 2015.1.1 in Lightroom, the "Edit a copy" screen does not appear.  The image opens in Photoshop, I make the changes, press on save, close Photoshop and I went back to Lightroom with no new image modified either because it has never made a copy in the first place the new file edition is invisible (see below).  Spent hours on the phone with Adobe and we theorized it was multiple copies of Photoshop on different drives.  I physically removed all disks except one, and the problem remains.  Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I have the latest version at all (it started with c. 2015.1.1).  Photoshop 6 works very well and doesn't have this problem, although I have copies of 6 PS on several other non Adobe software players works fine too.

  If there is more than one custom "slot" for external editors in Lightroom, I wouldn't even post this question because I could bypass Photoshop CC entirely.  But as it is, one of my two choices of editor external links Photoshop CC.

  Tip: If I put the file in the quick Collection, things are like the old days.  I get the screen to export, a copy is created, modified in Photoshop CC and when Photoshop CC is closed, the modified version is visible in Lightroom.  However, when I try to move the file edited in quick Collection in the folder where it belongs, Lightroom says that it's already there - which it may be, but it is invisible.

  P.S. I just discovered that it IS possible to specify more than one external editor, this is a temporary solution, given that I can use Photoshop 6 and like many other apps I want instead of PS CC.

  If Photoshop is the main editor in Lightroom, it will not ask to create a copy for raw images.

  Hitting the shift command option key when opening PSE on the shortcut icon on the dock of MAC did not work BUT tried the same procedure by opening the file paper applications PSE and hey presto the installer came. The problem is solved, thank you very much.

• Cannot save a PDF file in PS CS5 - used file

  I have a new computer and the new CS5 Suite.  Running Windows 7, x 64 version.  If I have a file (any type) with the changes or without, I can't save in PDF format unless I preserve PS edition.  If I try to save without preserving it brings back "the file is opened or is being used by another program...." "and creates a file ~ *.tmp.  The file .tmp remains active until I quit PS (know because I tried to move the folder).

  I tried to rename the file, moving into different folders, from network HD, no luck. My only workaround is to preserve PS editing on all files.  Is this something new with CS5?

  Nothing new in CS5, but it seems that your files are being indexed or W7 creates thumbnails / previews icon for them. Try to turn off this behavior in general view settings to explore and see if that makes a difference.

• Cannot save a PNG file with alpha channel transparency format

  I try to send a PNG file with transparency channel alpha on my Zenfolio web page. It is a custom application of copyright law that I do.  When I save the file, cs5, and I select Save in PNG, in the window, I get a message error/alert that says "the file should be saved as a copy with this application.  I'm not allowed to select the Alpha channel option.

  I think that I have a setting in CS5 that is making this happen, but I'm not smart enough to understand.

  PNG does not support alpha channels, only one channel of transparency.

  Just make the image with transparency and save in PNG.

  I got my beloved WordPerfect to run this method:

  Start the tiles subway screwy, which is (I assume) the only way to access most of the programs that are installed, or even the properties of those who have been pinned to the taskbar to desktop.

  Select Properties > Security tab > EDIT and check the full control box.  (Maybe the writing box would have been enough, I don't know.  I went with a full control).

  Finally, finally I can put my default WP file folder where I want, and I can open an existing file of WP, modify, "save under...". ', a new file name and keep the original file, rather than overwrite the original.

  I have restored all of the changes made by Advanced System Care 5 now everything works.

  Advanced System Care 6 upgrades done a registry clean with no problems this time.

  It seems therefore that the registry clean was the problem.

  It does not look like it cleaned everything more then old software keys and the extensions that I use more.
